Honestly, the smash community (besides the Marth fans) doesn't deserve him after all of the nonsense they put us Marth fans through. Can't say one good thing about Marth without the tier list worshippers crying "LuCiNa sTiLl bETtEr!!!!" Let's also not forget how many times people downplayed Ignaize's skill, even after taking down many top players with solo Marth.

@@JonathanFingers Smash Ultimate isn't dying. Just because it's not at its peak doesn't mean it's dead at all. There are still plenty of events going on where Smash is still a big hit, and a lot of solid players coming out of nowhere with new characters and playstyles. Hell, even the Melee community is still passionate and kicking. I don't see this game truly dying until a new, better Smash game is released, if that even happens. Being hopeful ain't even copium, let the man be optimistic and root for our boy Marth, and let us enjoy the game
@@andrewbaek6691 I'd have to look at the actual hitbox for it, but it feels like it's *slightly* behind him. I've found it much easier to land the dair when the opponent is slightly behind and directly underneath where Marth is when using the move. This has made the dair spike so much easier to land for me personally
@@StealthFoxx_ Hitboxes smear from one frame to another so it makes sense since Marth's sword was behind him on the previous frame. It looks like Ignaize also tries to turn around when he has time to

Scraping a 3-2 win over well past it Elegant at a local after having just lost to him earlier at the same tournament isn't proof of anything. Also he has lost several times to Skyjay? Like I said, all of the above clips are against unknowns at locals, it's not my problem you don't know anything about the Smash competitive scene. Also I don't "hate" on Marth? Stop being such a child lmao.
@@JonathanFingers It's no secret that Marth is HARD to be consistent with. So many playstyles to adapt against, so much precision and patience required to master this character. And yet, Marth players are dedicated to making him shine, and that's something you have to respect, whether he's viable or not. These mfs are cooking, locals or not

@@popahtrj hes more relient on the player being good enough to consistently tipper if you can be consistent its possible to kill as early as like 40 or 50 at ledge, he may not be top tier but he is high tier if played in the right hands
