Well, by accidently finding this video I found my "singing killer", its actually this very thing (my onset) I've been over looking this whole time. I'm going to start using this trick as a warmup before practicing along with my other warmups.

Hi I have a question for you ,
That I am a beginner at singing So from where should I start singing practice
I have this really bad habit of squealing at the beginning of notes . I never started singing because I thought I was good at it I taught myself how to play guitar and I love poetry so I just turned that into songs and actually got the balls to sing it in front of people one day and those people told me I was good. To be honest after I caught covid my voice hasn't been the same since🤔 well actually I was just getting better from covid and I recorded Marshall Tucker band "can't you see" and just the way that I sang the song I think I killed my singing voice . I've been trying to nurture it back to health and watch videos like this one. I like these videos but I don't often get anything from them I need a one-on-one singing teacher so they know what my voice sounds like and what my bad habits are I've never taken guitar lessons but I'm seriously thinking about taking singing lessons .

That's called the head voice
leave the buggers in your nose, and grow more buggers, the more buggers you grow, the less nasally you sing
Ease the tension around your chin as well as you shoulders and also open your mouth wider than you usually do while singing. People often sound nasal because of the tension around their jaws and shoulders cause these things make it impossible for you to sing with support from your abdominal muscles. Opening your mouth wider, easing the tension around your jaws and relaxing your shoulders allows more air to come out through your mouth and not your nose. Singing is more of converting the air into sound, so if most of the air is coming out through your nose then you'll obviously sound nasal. So the trick is in opening your mouth wide enough such that more sound and air come out through that as opposed to your nose. And your mouth will only be wide if you dont lock your jaws or allow tension to take over.
It's not at all what I think most people are asking I think we're looking for how to tell when we are on key or not we get how it's hearing ourselves that is the issue because we know we don't sound the same as we do to the ones around

There are a lot of videos like these in the internet and it's just very sad if you think of how many people are wasting their time and money.

Honestly, you have no privacy. No matter what you do, or don't do. Devices are always recording. Location is always tracked. Even having an account with Google has compromised your privacy.
