That is the coolest thing I have ever seen
Glad you like the video Garret
How much plastic did you use.? And aslo how much salt? Thanks
Sweet video.. n wat kinda mod (vape) u hittin on? I heard it sizzling an thought I was layin on mine or accidentally pushing the button lol
Eleaf 70W mod. Nothing special lol.
Awsome video man ! I'm just getting into pouring it seems like a lot of fun
It sure is. Very addicting as well.
I've gotten baits from Moorer's through Facebook, good guy to deal with, awesome baits!!
what kind of liquid plastic should I buy that's super affordable and good quality
www.Baitjunkys.com is by far one of the best plastic's to use. If you are making alot of white or clear baits i would go with dead on plastics. There plastic does not yellow at all.
I'm just starting out. So you can add the glitter and cook it but wait until the last minute for the salt? What's the ratio of salt to use in your cooked plastic?
What firmness do you use for the FusionX Plastisol?
Nice video. Thank you. I have a question. How many senko baits can be you get from the two cups of plastic ? Thanks again.
Kenneth Pierce like 25+
Do you clean your measuring cup in between each use, if so what have you found is the best way to get it clean?
Hey Carl. Not really. Ill just set a cup aside and let it cool and if I need that size cup i'll just pull the plastic out after it cools down and wipe the inside down with a dry paper towel. Also check to see if any glitter is suck to the sides or bottom. I have about 20 cups I use, but I do wash them once every 2 weeks. Thanks for watching!
What is plastisol and do I need it ? Can I just melt old senkos in the glass the put them in the mold ? Thanks for answer
Yes you can just melt old senkos. Plastisol is if you want to make brand new senkos
How hard is it to push the plastisol into the mold with the injector? Is it really easy to press?
not hard at all. kinda like pushing a turkey baster.
can you give any advice for some one who is looking to add a color swirl to his baits? I can do the 50-50 colors just can't figure out how to add swirls of different colors
Hey Aaron. What you need to make swirl baits from what ive been told by someone who makes and sells them is a dual injector and you will need to take the top bar out and counter push each injector and this will create the swirl effect. I've never done this or tried it so I cannot vouch and say this works. I see the plastics he sells and they look awesome. So it must.
Also here is the link to a dual injector. store.do-itmolds.com/Complete-Dual-Injection-System_p_1242.html
Where do you buy your molds and materials for this? I'd love to get started .
Do u just add any salt that you put on food or does it have to be a certain kind for the baits?
Hey Andrew. Its a really fine grade salt but regular salt will work but your bait wont be transparent because of how big the salt is unless you use the fine grade. You can purchase the fine salt from this link if interested.

Thanks
Can you make a handmade laminating block?
It’s just an aluminum bar. I made one at my shop
Ok so I want to make some baits at home what liquid and stuff do I need
Plastisol and some dyes and glitter you want and molds you can get it from do it molds and an injector
How many senkos can you make with a cup of plastisol?
new sub very very helpful best ive found on ytube thank you
Thank you buddy. I should have some new videos coming up in the next few weeks.
This sounds like the Lake Fork Guy!
Is it worth it money wise?Like in the long run
It saves me alot of money in a short period of time. Only thing is the time it takes. Especially when you save your old used worms and remelt and inject again. Cant beat it.
We're dis you get all the stuff from
Amazon for the mold. Then I use fusionx for the plastics, glitter, and color
What is the total cost of all this equipment and colors, etc, to make the 297 GY Senko?
it will run you around $200 to start. That is plastic, color, glitter, injector and mold.
I take it, once you get past that cost, you never have to buy again!
Is it cost effective, or just a wash.
if you buy the plastic in a bulk size, 5 gallons and up its alot cheaper. you can melt down the used baits and shoot the mold all over again with the same plastic if you save the torn up baits.
I would love to see a video of you fishing with them! I love using senkos but they do get very pricey after one breaks for every 2 or 3 bass you catch lol
I will definitely upload videos like that in the near future. This is one of the reasons I make my own senko's. Once the senko is pretty much destroyed i'll remelt them and reuse them over and over again, plus its alot cheaper to make your own once you get the molds and injector.
@@MoorersBaitCompany hi, where can i buy the stuff to create my own senkos?
Great video but I had a question. Do you just use the platisol or do you also add the additive such as the heat stabilizer and worm oil. Definitely earned yourself a sub. Keep up the good work.
If its new/fresh plastisol, I do not put anything in it but whatever color and flake I plan on using. Heat stabilizer is used when you are remelting plastic once it is completely cooled down. Add a few drops to plastic and start to heating up process. Worm oil is what you put in the bag you are putting your finished baits/ products in along with the scent of your choice. I will be posting a few videos in the next few days and one of them will be How to remelt plastic for reuse. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions let me know. Thanks for watching and the sub.
What mold is that? Where do I buy it?
So how you get the multi color. Like black blue or junebug or Okeechobee craw?
you would use a laminate plate or dual injector
Cool
Where do you buy all your soft plastic making stuff? This video has me interested
Hey Mitch. Alot of stuff in this video was from Doit molds but I also buy from MF and lureworks.
We're do you buy your dyes cause I'm having a problem with my chartreuse that I need to use a lot of coloring and it still doesn't look good what do you recommend doing
All the dye I buy comes from DoIt Molds. I use there X2 colorant. Ive had no issues with there dye. What do you consider alot of dye? How many drops to oz's? Chartreuse or any transparent color will eventually start to darker or brown after a few reheats. The plastisol stabilizer puts chemicals back in your plastic that burn off after you reheat it a few times. The stabilizer will help keep the color close but it will still darker overtime. I posted 2 links below to what I use. Hope this helps.
Colorant- store.do-itmolds.com/X2-Colorant_p_312.html
Stabilizer- store.do-itmolds.com/Heat-Stabilizer_p_294.html
Like a quarter of a 8 oz bottle just for a cup of plastic
with the X2 colorant I use 20 drops per 4 oz's of plastic. super bright chartreuse color. honestly its prolly to much colorant. what brand are you using now?
Bears bait colorant but every other color is good just not chartreuse
give do it's a try. i think you will like it.
How many worms do you feel you need to make to break even price wise?
Hey Kevin. I have 4 of these molds. I dont make them just for myself so I really dont know, but ive already made my money back selling to friends and online. If you fish the GY Senko, it will save you alot of money because it cost around $3 to make a 12 pack with the lay i buy my plastic. Hope this helps.
Yes, it does. I mostly use Yum and Big Bite Baits in 5"/6" stick worms, and Bass Pro for 3" stick worms/NED rigs, so this may not be for me price wise.
Why did you put salt in the mix
What is the stuff you use for the senko and where do i buy it
its plastisol . You can get it from Do-It Molds or Angling AI
I have dents in my senkos you have and ideas why?
Vang Hang your injector isn’t big enough or your not holding enough after words
Which senko mold from do it do you use? One is close to $100 the other is like $40?
I have a few of the $40 dollar senko molds. The $40 dollar is sand blasted and makes a more rugged finish and the $100 is machine cut(Both are machine cut but finished different) and makes a pretty clean bait. Example is a GY Senko is what the $100 dollar mold would make. I think its a waste of money for the $100 mold because a fish isn't gonna pay attention to if the worm is smooth or rugged honestly. Plus the cheaper mold IMO makes a better looking worm but this is my opinion. Hope this helps.
also what size is the injector?
what you see in the video im using is a 4oz injector. I do have the 9.5 oz when I shoot 3 or more molds.
can you use any paint for them?
What type of paint? Are talking about the paint in the background? If so, that is what I use to paint crankbaits.
oh ok thanks
can you use any glitter for them
Yep you sure can. Here is a link to the website I buy my glitter from. You can get glitter or flake from just about anywhere but you need to make sure its high temp glitter. Gonna post another link to the colorant for you.
Glitter/Flake- store.do-itmolds.com/High-Heat-Hex-Glitter-040_p_309.html
Colorant- store.do-itmolds.com/X2-Colorant_p_312.html
Hope this helps my friend. If you have anymore questions, just ask away my friend.
How do you package them
Honestly at 1:00 looks like a melted oreo milkshake
Hi, could you please link me to all the things I'll need aka mold, liquid, etc..
Thanks!
Hey Kevin. I'm gonna post a few links for you. Do-It offers a few starter kits. Here is the link to the starter kit i would recommend. This kit does not come with a mold but has everything you need to get started. You can change the colors of glitter and colorant in these kits to whatever you want. I would check pricing if you broke down the kit just to see what it comes out to compared to the kit price.
Starter kit - store.do-itmolds.com/Kit--Start-up_p_340.html
Starter kit homepage - store.do-itmolds.com/Softbaits-Starter-Kits_c_37.html
Here is a list of everything broke down
Molds - store.do-itmolds.com/Molds_c_252.html
Injectors - store.do-itmolds.com/Injectors-Gloves_c_255.html (I have the Medium size)
Colorant/Glitter - store.do-itmolds.com/Colorant-Glitter-Pearls_c_254.html
Plastisol/Additives - store.do-itmolds.com/Plastisol-and-Additives_c_306.html (Softer,Heat Stabilizer,Worm oil)
Thermometer - store.do-itmolds.com/Proaccurate-Digital-Thermometer_p_331.html
You will need a microwave, gloves, and high temp baking glasses(Anchor or Pyrex). I would start out with a small qty of plastisol just to make sure this is something you want to do. If you have any other questions just let me know.
Carolina Bassin'
Did you place a order with them Kevin?
How much are the molds and the plunger

Carolina Bassin' thanks, ill be sure to get one!
How much plastoil did you use it to start ?
Hey Brett. If you are referring to what I bought the 1st go round, I started with a gallon. If you are talking about what amount i mix up to shoot a mold, it all varys with how many im making. It takes about 2 ozs to fill the senko mold including the scrap that you remelt. Hope this helps. Any other questions let me know.
Thank you your videos are very informative seen a lot like this yours are the best !
Awesome Brett. Glad to hear that. Ive been really busy at work the past 2 weeks. Ill have a new video posted by this weekend. Stay tuned my friend and thanks for watching.
Good content subbed, can you do one on swimbaits
thank you buddy. yes sir will do. i have alot of new molds and new things to show everyone. Hoping I have some free time this weekend to make a video.
Molds?
Amazon
Do you even vap bro
I've been watching a ton of videos on making your own baits. is it even worth the time and money to make your own? what is the initial investment in a simple setup, and maybe 3 colors? I look at the time needed and wonder, man these wouldn't make sense unless they are costing me $.10 to make.
Hey Dan. Send me a private message on here. I'll break it down for you.
Carolina Bassin' I messaged on your page
Why do you have to put salt in there
Salt is added to the bait, to add weight for it to sink and also for taste. They say adding salt makes the fish hold on to the bait a little longer. I only add salt to sinking baits. The salt used in baits is a fine grade salt not table salt we use on food. Hope this helps.
I just created new senko idea make them gummy worm colors call them gummy senkos
Can you make a starter setup
Do it molds sells starter kits already made up. Here is a link. store.do-itmolds.com/Softbait-Kits-Certificates_c_257.html
FYI colorant and glitter can be changed in the kit if you want different colors. You do not have to go with the colors they offer on the website.
Tough to beat the original Yamamoto Senko
i agree with you but the mold is the exact replica that Yamamoto sells. Yamamoto sold Do It molds the rights to sell his senko mold. Alot cheaper than the real thing and will last alot longer.
Has anyone tried to use silicone clear sealant
I have not but it would prolly put off a very harmful toxic gas. Both of them are 2 different types of material.
Carolina Bassin' I'll put that on the not to do list any ways great video
Vincent Foti it can be rather stinky to use silicone. I find that if I use acetone as a thinning agent, the smell is greatly diminished. Molding quality is good if you use a demolishing agent before casting. Not sure how quickly the plastisol sets up. I can usually have silicone ready to de-molding in 45min to and hour, but typically allow a full 24hrs to cure.
John 14:6 King James Version
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me
Shame on you for making us wait on the microwave. Ever hear of video editing?
😂😂
Hey great vid could I get a shoutout I have vids easy to upload but I'm not quite ready yet
ill do it buddy
Dude edit the microwave parts out
you should learn to use gelatin powder to make your lures, you know of the problem with micro plastic,s in the environment and there,s another problem if a fish take,s your bait and escapes this plastic will not breake down in it''s stomach and they die hard, not to mention it get into the food chain... here in Britain where we catch and release they lost prize fish because of fishing gear, lead weights were a problem with wild fowler and now plastic lures. Gelatin is far better anyway cheaper, easy to colour sparkle up with cake decorations you can use flavor with fish oils and the best part no micro waves EMF or toxic substances to mix
Geez... fidget McGee here.
?
Christopher Edmister I have no idea what you mean, but the fact that you came up with Kanye immediately says a lot about the crowd you follow.
Wasn't tryin to be rude Caro Bassin'. Just seemed a little "fidgety" in the video.
I guess it was just the excitement of making your own Senko's! Good vid man! Enjoyed it!
1st video ever made. Definitely nervous.
that hurt me when he called the vice grips a c clamp😷
Sorry brother.
