I'm so glad to see a young professional man who is able to be honest about his emotions & who appreciates the details of his changing environment . You seem to be a genuine , empathic & unpretentious guy & fine ship's officer .
Another interesting video, thank you, Karanvir. It looks like you are settling in to the new ship , the new route and your new duties just fine :) Good to have that manual steering option on the ship, Incase it is needed. Do all container ships have this? The ship looked pretty empty judging by how high on the water it sat. Sorry you could not go on shore this time. But you always keep a good attitude. :) Those seals were so amazing! I miss seeing the ocean and it's sea life. ❤️
@@KaranvirSinghNayyar Good day, I'm from Ukraine, tell me pls, how to join to Maersk Company? What crewing or what e-mail of your crewing manager ? I'm Deck Cadet, have a Junior/3off Diploma ))
It's truly an honor to get a glimpse at your duties at sea. This is something we don't get a chance to see often and I'm very grateful so thank you Sir.
Undoubtedly, the best day in a seafarer's life is the day of the signing off. I fully understand that 'low' feeling when seeing shipmates getting off and heading home. It does nothing but to look forward to your own sign off even if months away. The path leading to the signing off is a joyous one - the message from the fleet personnel department, the packing up enroute to the signing off port, the flight details and the boarding of your reliever. Until then, keep striking off the dates in the calendar in your cabin and keep track of how many more "Sunday biryanis" you have to eat 🙂 before that glorious day arrives. (I hope that biryani is on the lunch menu of Maersk vessels).
Great attitude to work and life. Just the fact that you are on the othersider of the world standing on a port that very other people will ever get to experience. Paying passenger cruises can't give the experiences that you have while working. The simple things are great and so glad you appreciate it and share those.
Thanks for another great video KSN! I love the "night-lapse" video coming into Walvis Bay, that was excellent! Nice to see some shots of the cool sea life there in port with the Jellyfish and the 2 seals playing around in the water. Thanks for this KSN - Nicely Done!!
You are the best and unique Content Creator on the RUclips. I am able to get travel through your videos on Ship feeling as I myself there enjoying this Beautiful World of Oceans, Wonderful Birds and Aquatic Species. You are correct. My time in the Navy. You were embedded into the ship's operational life as part of the crew. Leavin ship for another felt like being ejected from something you cared for.
Karan bhai as u said its hard to say signoff to your co worker. I am trucker and i stay away on road for weeks from my family. I appreciate you making this video and entertaining us and giving knowledge as its always hard to stay away from your family.

This is why it is important to have oars on board. When the backups all fail, at least you have something to stick in the water and effect a 1-degree-per-hour turn.
Thanks for taking us along with you on your adventures. It made me giggle that you felt the need to place on screen the word seagull when it appeared. Have you changed your sound settings because it sounds like you were sitting in an empty hall and recording. Lage raho Karan bhai.
Only the channel I'm watching the videos without any skip, enjoying each ND every video, great execution great video quality, content etc etc etc.. Keep going Anna (Bro)..
your videos are compelling enough, no need for click bait. Better title, "Testing emergency strering in heavy rolling:", Other than that, excellent video
How does it feel to get lost in the nature? African coast feels more rustic, antique and unexplored when compared to your Europe and Asia routes. Enjoying man, jealous of the nature you're in keeping the work load aside 😅
Great video i live near Lake Huron in Ontario Canada and see ships all the time but no container ships i liked the video where u are down below looking up at the containers amazing how many are on your ship keep up the great videos thanks

Awesome video as always. Good to see the sights in Walvis bay. Hope one day you can sail in East Africa. Btw your bulbous bow has many scratches what causes that and can it affect the ship buoyancy ?
