What I want more from the WRC series is simple: make it so the same AI driver doesn't win almost every race, and make it so AI drivers ALSO get penalties, get damaged, etc. As it is it makes you feel that if you get a single penalty you might as well just restart
Sega Rally 2 - 13yrs ago had great terrain deformation. Since then..... nothing.

@@ConAir94 well in PD’s defense Covid has slowed development right down like everyone else. PD’s staff normally go out to source cars and tracks but obviously they are not allowed to lately.
It took 10 incarnations of this game for them to FINALLY introduce the historic cars everyone wanted....wow!

@@PlaySA ya but compared to Dirt Rally 2? WRC 9 has 15 and WRC 10 is promising 20. DR2 had 42 and it came out before WRC 8.

WRC Evolved is the best WRC. Dynamic weather conditions, and terrain/trees/falling rocks/animals as your challenge. Gameplay was also nice to handle.
Im not convinced since they did not show the subarus, the lancers and the celicas. Lol
Doubt they will be in the game and even if they are, they will be DLC as all the cars shown in trailer above were DLC in WRC 9.

which rally games have Celicas? They're my favourite WRC cars and I haven't come across a single one :(

Yeh, I prefer the handling of the cars in wrc9 than I do in dirt rally 2.0.... if they can get the right balance between the 2 games I think that would work well.

Definitely going to consider getting this on console after the mess of the PC port. So many stutter and controller issues had me have to stop playing unfortunately even though i was really enjoying the career mode

Its beyond me how there are so many Rally games and racing games in general and the Evolution 4 never appears on anything out of Gran Tourismo or Initial D arcade games. Really hope they add it in a historic rally stage in this.
Probably licensing issues, or they don't consider it important enough. I'd also like to see it. For me WRC 9 came out of nowhere and instantly became the best rally game ever by a long shot
