An XM5 is a very good idea. 26 mp sensor, 5 processor, stabilization, but also uhs ii sd card and a serious battery! no popup flash but a return of the little ef-x8!

Can't produce enough or purposely holding back to create demand? I'm unsure, but my photo dealer is angry (not only) with Fujifilm for such a manipulated supply. And not only the X-100 VI.

I doubt.. fuji doesn't have that good technology as canon or nikon.. af is a struggle in their entire product line..
