The Corey Claus and Seany Elf episode is a Christmas classic. I already watched it this morning. Man Fook Low's, a Chinese restaurant in L.A.'s Warehouse district had the world's greatest egg rolls.
Egg foo young is top shelf for me. Shout out to Goose Island. Haven't found it out here in the Pacific Northwest, but you guys have shown some great brews from them
In the late 60s we always went to Moon Temple Chinese restaurant on Saint Charles Road in Berkeley Illinois for their Christmas Day buffet (still open 50+ years later)... mom hated to cook Christmas bonus.... my favorite lines from Cheech and Chong's Santa Claus And His Old Lady TC: Yeah, man! I played with that cat last year, man! CM: Wha? TC: Yeah, we played in front of a store, man! We made a lot of bread, man! CM: Aw, hey, wait a minute, man! Santa Claus is not a musician, man! TC: I'm hip, man! That cat didn't know any tunes, man!
Hey guys I just wanted to say I am someone that watches these type of videos all the time and I have for years I mean I watch 10 or 11 different reviewer type videos constantly. I recently started checking out some of your videos and wanted to say you definitely deserve to grow I think if you stick with it you will I really enjoy your content you eat good unique items You're very personable you describe the food well and your chemistry between each other is really good. I enjoy it very much I'm a big fan
Good Chinese in north aurora/naperville by fox valley. The spots are basically good Chicago joints in burbs. Ming hing, xian cuisine, lambs hot pot, Lao sze chaun etc.
very true! I forgot to excluse argyle but yeah that's an obvious strip of greatness! But lakeview, lincoln park, neighbhoods like that... good luck. 95% of them suck
I grew up eating homemade Chinese Food, both sides of my grandparents ran Chinese restaurants, I'm 67 years old and I have never had General Tso's Chicken or crab rangoon.
Sean and Corey, Merry Christmas! At any rate, General Tso’s at Chengdu Impression in Lincoln Park (on Halsted) is BOGO via Uber Eats-worth it, especially given the offer!
yes! we used to do that and it just makes the commentary/rating confusing. We've found it makes more sense to order and talk about one thing to keep the conversation on course.
Have you been to Chef’s Special Cocktail Bar in Bucktown? My wife and I feel the same way about Chinese food in the city as Corey does. We live in UKV and will only get Lao Peng You and Little Wok but have heard Chef’s Special is killer.
Dudes that stinks! I'm totally used to G/T chicken being smothered in a hot purple sauce,... not that orange goo... & it should have broccoli florets, plenty of long peppers... w/whatever rice you order... plus two egg rolls or something.
One of the good things about living near a couple of college towns is a good number of good quality Americanized Chinese restaurants! I always go with the General Tsos chicken, with whatever form of garlic chicken the place has on the menu as a very close second. 🥡
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Even when the chicken is soggy, you can always go get a crisp beer. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!
King Wok, I’m mad at you. But I’ll get over it because watching the old clips of Corey as Santa makes me happy.
Sean, next time take Corey to Wong’s in Troy for the actual best strip mall Chinese food. 😉 Merry Christmas, boys‼️💚
Oh ho ho ho!!!
-Santa laugh!!!
hahah
@CoreyWagnerChicago Well ok
Thanks! Merry Christmas
You're the man Vic!
Merry Christmas Sean and Corey!!!!
Merry Christmas Liz!
Chicken Chop suey is my favorite
Yummy!
Oh yeah that Pete's is outstanding
sure is!
Ate Chinese food for the first time ever on Christmas this year... Jess Cafe on Belmont and Mon Lung on Ashland and Agusta is amazing.
it's such a classic move!
Sean you owe Corey a hug. For this lol 😂 you caused him emotional distress lol 😂
I’ll apologize every day until I die.
I want to see more of angry Corey Santa....he seems like a fun Santa. 😉😉
some say the funest!
Thanks!
absolute freaking legend dude!
Give me roast pork from a chinese resturant. Merry Christmas Sean & Corey
yummy!

Egg foo young is top shelf for me. Shout out to Goose Island. Haven't found it out here in the Pacific Northwest, but you guys have shown some great brews from them

thanks!!! we're excited for you to try it :)
Beef n broccoli and 2 eggrolls is my go-to. Merry Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas Peg!
Crab Rangoons for sure
So tasty!
I love love love love orange chicken and the chicken egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce! 😁
sooo good!
@@CoreyWagnerChicago yes especially from Panda Express!
And East China inn in downtown Aurora Illinois
Good Chinese in north aurora/naperville by fox valley. The spots are basically good Chicago joints in burbs. Ming hing, xian cuisine, lambs hot pot, Lao sze chaun etc.
Yes! Those spots are fantastic!
Young's on Ashland is pretty tasty and not too bad price wise.
Awesome!
Lao sze chuan is great. I was about to comment to try that
I've never had a bad meal from them that's for sure! They've got so many great items on their menu !
Egg Foo Young!
love it!
Praying?
That “King Wok” returns back in my area!
Nicely, asked
:)
My favs are chicken lo main and the egg drop soup. I will say I never had xiao long baos (soup dumplings) yet I really wanna try them
I love me some dumplings!
Mongolian beef. Any favs on Argyle Street?
Now we're talking! I'm would consider myself an Argyle pro to be honest.
Perfect my favorite food is noodles 🍜 😊
nice!
never seen general tso chicken like that before with peppers and baby corn 🤔
right!
It stings just that much more when your go-to misses. I hope it was a one-time thing. Pete's, Tony's, Cermak, and Fresh Farms all slap.
it's the worst!
Does Schaumburg count? If so, Yu’s Mandarin.
Favorite Chinese dish? For me - cumin lamb.
tasty!
Best Chinese food in the Chicago area is Chef Ping in Rolling Meadows!! 😋
sounds like thats the best chinese food in Rolling Meadows not chicago haha
I one thousand percent agree with Corey about Chinese food in Chicago. Chinatown and Argyle, excluded. Obviously.
You should try it, it's good!
Gotta be the house fried rice to judge every place!!
that sounds like a fun cahnnel!
idk why but i read this at first as Sean's favorite strip club 🤣🤣. I thought damn that boy has some major hall passes from his wife LOL
lol
Sean and Corey, Merry Christmas! At any rate, General Tso’s at Chengdu Impression in Lincoln Park (on Halsted) is BOGO via Uber Eats-worth it, especially given the offer!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Xmas boyz! Try New Star in Elmwood Park. Just a bit further west from Top Butcher. Egg roll to kill for. Made with peanut butter.
Merry Christmas brother! and yeah we'll have to try that out at some point! Thanks for the rec!
Damn this is the food equivalent of a hard lump of coal isnt it? It looked like good General Tsos too.
hahahah sure is!
Rice Kitchen and Jose's Cuban are the 2 true dieties of Michigan State University delivery restaurants.
yummy!
Try New star in Elmwood Park down the block from Johnnies beef.......................
awesome! Thanks for the rec!
Thank you. Very nice. (How did I get subscribed?)
You're very welcome!
#1 chop suey on Addison across from Lane tech has the BEST General’s chicken I’ve ever had.
I'll have to check that out!
Please! You have to try the spicy fried rice from Hing Wangs in uptown. It's great but cash only
I love cash only spots! There's something old school about them that makes me think the foods gotta be just some good old school stuff.
Is there a reason why you guys don't order different things to review more of the menu?
yes! we used to do that and it just makes the commentary/rating confusing. We've found it makes more sense to order and talk about one thing to keep the conversation on course.
@@CoreyWagnerChicago Makes sense. Thanks!
@@MatthewPar no problem!
Have you been to Chef’s Special Cocktail Bar in Bucktown? My wife and I feel the same way about Chinese food in the city as Corey does. We live in UKV and will only get Lao Peng You and Little Wok but have heard Chef’s Special is killer.
I haven't been there but I'll have to check it out! Little Wok is basically the only place we get chinese food from now!
@ we’re the same way since Little Wok is a quick delivery and consistent. Chef’s Special is a Bib Gourmand pick though so give it a shot!
Easy… Almond Boneless Chicken (Michigan version only)
that was my all-time favorite order in Toledo!
I would prob say General Tsao chicken
love it!
Sesame chicken would be my go to when I used to live in NY and now in Mississippi, my go to is going to get anything but fake Chinese food!
ha yeah that sounds about right!
Singapore noodles
yummy!
Bummer experience but not all dishes are going to be good.
very true!
Dudes that stinks! I'm totally used to G/T chicken being smothered in a hot purple sauce,... not that orange goo... & it should have broccoli florets, plenty of long peppers... w/whatever rice you order... plus two egg rolls or something.
Right! They didn't do it right!
Yes, Pete’s is by far the best grocery store chain in Chicago. Marianos since krogers has just been downgraded to meh.
That place looks amazing!
My local Chinese restaurant changed ownership and now it sucks ass
that's the worst dude! I freaking hate when that happens
I think you guys are pronouncing it wrong. It's General So and not General Sow. 😂
Interesting. Maybe it's a midwest thing. Thanks
One of the good things about living near a couple of college towns is a good number of good quality Americanized Chinese restaurants! I always go with the General Tsos chicken, with whatever form of garlic chicken the place has on the menu as a very close second. 🥡
I'll eat any garlic chicken item too!
