- I've been using the Rokid Max Glasses a lot with the Steam Deck, but I've also recently been trying the Steam Link app on the Rokid station to stream PC games to the glasses - included 3D gaming!

in case somebody is wondering what bfg looks like in 3d. put a finger close into the center of sight and focus on it so both pictures will merge in your field of vision and then you can focus with your eyes and stay lock. it's a fun trick
If only they weren't so damn expensive :)
xReal Air are nicer and cheaper.
@@TrevorJones1 watched the cnet comparison and there wasn’t a lot in it between them. Rokid looks a bit better quality and comfort. Always pros and cons so up to you to decide what’s best. In any case, while I could easily afford to buy both I can’t see myself using these enough to justify buying them. Now if these were PCVR capable and had a better FOV like the Bigscreen Beyond I’d be all over them, lol!

3d glasses were obsolete in the 80th already but VR althought it also has 3d, it has unlimited possibility that open another dimension portal to another future. And I'm super picky when it comes to tech, never in my life have I praise anything like vr
I unfortunately cant get any gamepad to work on my rokid station. Ps5, elite series 2, Nintendo pro controller all failed.
Mine finally arrived and here is my review. It runs hot. I have no idea why they also sent a remote just to be able to speak to Google assistant? The video is slightly larger than the glasses allows you to see so the far left edges in the upper and lower corners are not in your direct view and are somewhat blurry. It took 1 month to arrive from China! With all of this I still LOVE it because there is no other device out there that allows you to stream video from an android OS using all of the video apps you have on your phone. Plus it has 32 gigs o space so if you want to rent or buy a digital movie you can download it directly to the device. Now, I dont know how you get the video off or how you put videos you already on....for $149 im happy. However if you can find a cheaper phone that outputs video via a usb c port then you could do that instead but I could not find any for $149 or less
A fair review. I find that I’m personally able to adjust the position slightly in order to mitigate the edge blur. However, my success on this definitely varies. Regardless, watching content lying down from my iPad is a nice experience.
Is it worth getting these if you have a quest 3?
If the bulk of a Quest 3 in comparison to these isn’t of concern then I’d say no, it’s probably not.
Can't you use the glasses connected directly to your PC? Do you have to use the station?
You can connect it directly to the PC with an HDMI micro to HDMI adapter.
Edit: you will require the Rokid HDMI cable however (this comes with the Station).
@@ImmersedRobot thanks. With the same logic, usb-c to HDMI cable can be used to connect directly, without the need to purchase the station
