      Right cause tbh I was saying yeah I rather use the sticky thing other than the glue
      Or I was saying I’ll use that sticky thing an then apply glue on top of it
      Just to see how long that would stay on
      Glue an that sticky thing together Kml

    Late to the party here but I've been doing adhesive backing pressons for many, many years. The very best tabs are BTartbox. They are not sectional like the ones you used here- they are one flat piece and therefore it's much easier to remove the plastic once you've pressed on the nail. Best of all, they are sized like the BTartbox nails so you get a perfect fit. The thinnest I've tried too and I'll tell you, I can barely get them off after a week.

    Hey nice video, but i have question about the infection you can get with press -ons. Did you ever face that issue and if so how can i prevent it? I really like these nails, they are super easy to put on and very cheap comparing to the other nail techniques and salons, but im just really afraid of the side effects :((

    • @yasmenanailco
      @yasmenanailco  2 года назад +6

      Thank you! I personally have never experienced infections with press ons as I always make sure my hands and tools are very clean. If you afraid that you may have a reaction to the ingredients of the nail polish or glue you may need to become familiar with any specific allergies you may have before purchasing.

    But thanks to that an imma try it out 😊✨👌🏽 with the sticky thing

    I have long nail beds so the adhesive tab doesn't cover the entire nail, even when they're trimmed short. Maybe like 3-4mm of exposed nail, close to the first finger you did but with all of them. Are the tabs still okay to use or should I just go with glue?

    • @yasmenanailco
      @yasmenanailco  Год назад +1

      I think tabs are still a good method to use! Tabs don't fully cover my nail beds either however I think the main difference between the two for me is the look and the longevity. Glue is gonna last much longer while tabs lose their stick within a few days.

    Hi I am about to get my first nails and all I have is the nails and glue. Do I need to buff? Plus does pushing back the cuticles hurt too much?

    • @yasmenanailco
      @yasmenanailco  2 года назад +1

      I would strongly recommend buffing your nails before application to ensure that the glue sticks correctly. I have also upgraded to an acrylic cuticle pushers which will eliminate the risk of splinters from wood or any type of pain. Generally, pushing your cuticles back does not hurt, especially if your skin as slight damp. Hope that helps!

  • @roxysanime
    @roxysanime 2 года назад +1

    Can you reuse them multiple times? Also can you use tabs and glue so that they last at least 3 weeks? Can glue nails last 3 weeks? Haven't used them until now..

    • @yasmenanailco
      @yasmenanailco  2 года назад

      You can reuse the nails, just be sure to take good care of them and remove any excess glue or adhesive in between uses. I personally would not use both tabs and glue at the same time. One or the other would suffice but for longer wear, always go with the glue!

    Acatully. Adhesive nail stickers last up longer when u take care of them. I recommend when to go to the shower. I just put gloves on (thick ones) so the water DOSEN’T go In my nail and make it weaker.

    • @yasmenanailco
      @yasmenanailco  2 года назад +1

      If you apply the nails with the sticky tabs you can easily remove them the same day and reuse them easily. If you apply with glue, I would recommend waiting a few days before trying to remove them.

    • @yasmenanailco
      @yasmenanailco  2 года назад +2

      The hand with glue! That will last anywhere between 1-2 weeks with proper care. The adhesive tabs are for more temporary uses and last between 1-3 days on average.

    Can i ask its remove when you touch the water?

    • @yasmenanailco
      @yasmenanailco  2 года назад +1

      the nails are able to withstand water. if you are in a situation where you are in water for long periods of time however (like swimming, bubble baths, etc.) the adhesive is likely to loosen and can make your nails not last as long.

    Is it okay to not do prep..pls reply

    • @yasmenanailco
      @yasmenanailco  2 года назад +2

      If you do not do any prep on your nails, please note that they will likely pop off in a short amount of time. Prepping is key to long-lasting wear because it gives the press ons a strong based to bond to. Un-prepped nails are too smooth and often oily to maintain press ons!

    • @tiffanyrandall3257
      @tiffanyrandall3257 5 месяцев назад

      If you don't want to nail prep because of your natural nail integrity, you can apply a thin layer of nail glue on your natural nail and that's what you can "rough up" for better adhesion, without having to rough up your actual nail 💅 ❤

  • @tiffanyrandall3257
    @tiffanyrandall3257 5 месяцев назад

    ✨️HEAT YOUR ADHESIVE BEFORE APPLYING✨️ this will make peeling off the plastic 100% easier ❤ (I hold mine a good bit above my lighter, I've heard putting them in hot water, I'm just scared that will ruin the glue??)

      they will start to feel a bit more lose after a few days especially if youre using a tab. if youre using glue and you feel it start to lift you can just drop a bit of glue under the fake nail but it depends up to you

  • @shibibi1
    @shibibi1 5 месяцев назад

    See, I can't get glue to last a single day, whereas tabs for me are lasting a month before I remove them myself. I shower regularly and, well I live on a hobby farm. My nails go through a lot. I think that's why the tabs work best. The tabs flex when put under pressure whereas the glue is so rigid and brittle it cracks when I'm doing basic chores
