Ok question I’m doing to to my is it’s a 2001 and I can’t figure out the wiring the only info I can find is 02 and up witch is different and 1jz instead was told harnesses are the same they aren’t don’t know if urs is an 01

It was a process. This was all done abiut 10yrs ago from a buddy of mine. He meshed the GTE harness with the chassis harness. Repinned. I unfortunately don't have the details.
Mine is a 2001.

Is the Power Steering setup the same on the GE/GTE? Chase bays website says this will only work with a GTE unless you buy their brake booster delete kit which makes no sense..

The set up is different. GEs have the reservoir sitting directly on the PS pump. GTE the reservoir is remote location away from the pump.

I'd say it depends on the system. Some systems are really good.
But I wanted to do it for weight and overall cleanliness/room.
