  • We finally fixed the last thing that was standing in the way of installing the direct port system. This thing was super easy and I definitely recommend one if you're running an aftermarket intake manifold, or even if you're not. It looks great, performs well, and is 1000x easier to service when pulling the motor.
    Huge shout you Ryan for the suggestion: / rstuningdesign

    Ah the one part I didn't buy, still not too late, and you're not helping to keep me from buying it! lol That reservoir looks so much better than the factory one, and looks so much more simple to deal with! Thanks for the update as usual! -Rich

      Happy to help! Lol Seems like it’s always another $500 with these cars no matter how you cut it. I agree, the PHR unit definitely looks better. As an added bonus, if the motor needs to come out it’s as simple as twisting a wrench which will be really nice. 👌

    Were going from lock to lock with car on or off? Sorry I didn't here your engine running? I assume on unless you arms are JACKED!? LOL

      I was going lock to lock with the car off actually. It was on jack stands so it was super easy to move. I just wanted to hear the bubbles to verify that the air was out. Once that’s done you can turn the car on and move the wheel a few more times to cover any residual air that may have been in the pump. I just didn’t show that in the video because my car wasn’t running yet. Lol 🍻👍

    hi bro, hope you doing good, is there a way or an aftermarket replacement for the big power steering return line? The one that goes right next to the frame.

    • @2JZAddict
      @2JZAddict  5 лет назад +1

      Hey man! I’m running a little behind with edits but if that’s the only problem, it’s probably not a bad one. Haha Are you talking about the factory hard line for the power steering? I’m sure you could tap the rack for NPT if you wanted to run braided AN lines. It would be super easy but I haven’t looked into it myself.

    • @skyu777ayala2
      @skyu777ayala2 5 лет назад +1

      yes! that line xD, I been trying to find a way over it , cause I'm rebuilding the whole power steering system including the rack xD. If you find anything let me know! i been looking like crazy xD.

      @@2JZAddict i was also thinking about the power steering delete but i haven't decided yet.

    • @2JZAddict
      @2JZAddict  5 лет назад +1

      If you’re looking to delete it, Joel sells a kit: www.grannasracing.com/products/mkiv-supra-manual-steering-rack-1
      If you’re looking to just change out the line, measure the threat pitch and width on the banjo bolt. Pick up a to AN conversion fitting of your choice, make some braided lines, and toss the old hard line. If you can’t find anything as far as a “how to” then your best bet is to just pull it and measure it. If you’re going to rebuild the rack anyway then you’re going to have to remove it from the car. Pull and measure the banjo fittings for the pressure and return and convert them to AN.

    Is that a stock supra pump or is it a upgraded one. Im fitting a sc300 subframe on a 46 ford and would like to utilize the remote reservoir

    • @2JZAddict
      @2JZAddict  3 года назад +1

      It’s a factory Supra pump. There’s not a need to upgrade the PS pump in the Supra. You’re swapping a 2J into a ‘46 Ford?!? Keep me posted on that, please! I’d love to see the end result! That sounds awesome!!

    Looks better and everything but PHR parts are so much overpriced, and the quality is good, nothing exceptional.
    Port for steering suction is 54$? What is this? The Mont Blanc store.
