What are the last minute fixes you had to make before leaving the dock on a trip?

One question Captain, did no one hear the pump running continuously?

The pump cannot be heard when the engines are running (or if the ac was on). In this case, it likely emptied on the prior trip after people used it. We did not typically check the bilges after trips, though, we do now.

So that little water pump drained all the water tank and eventually got tired running dry?

we do not leave power to the water all the time, I think the leak formed at dock, but leaked out when we turned the power on between trips (I work on the boat sometimes as a office).

That's why i changed from a merry fisher to Starfisher 290 Cancun hard top.
Far far far superior boat without all the cheap fittings that jeanneau use. All the Starfisher owners are x jeanneau / quicksilver owners 😊.

I had not seen the Starfishers before, I will check them out and try to do a tour sometime. There are definitely some cheaper fittings on some of the Jeanneaus, I have seen improvements touring some of the Series 2 boats compared to the current versions. But, I am always looking for my next boat.

@@echozulucruising A lot of manufacturers have gone cheap.
So my boat is similar to a quicksilver 855 .
The quicksilver 855 dry weight just over 3 tonnes top speed empty boat 31 knots normally 27 knots. Mercury 260hp VW engine 53.7lph.
Starfisher Cancun 290 same length 4.75 tonnes dry . Top speed 35 knots. VM 4.2 Cummins mercruiser QSD against rev limiter 68lph but at the quicksilver top speed 49lph .
1.2L bigger in engine size 1.5 tonnes heavier.
      🤯🤯🤯🤯.
I've got two showers and two fridge freezers.
Massive roof for 600w solar with a huge opening sunroof. The boat can have two d3 engines fitted but i wanted the single meaning i can fit 9 inflatable paddle boards in the engine bay 🤯. We have lots of kitesurfing equipment electric Hydrofoils toys for days. Plus a toddler 🤣. Frigging love the boat. Also friends 895 the seating is so low to the water in comparison.
