I bought this Asus a week ago, it's absolutely stunning. Huge upgrade in video fidelity even if it's just a 1440p panel. Super smooth pictures, vibrant colours and true black. Qd oled panels are incredible especially in gaming. I switched from a ips panel and this changed my concept of pictures quality
I’m sorry, but this is one of the best and most concise reviews I have ever watched. OK technically it’s a comparison, but that’s exactly what I need. Nobody in these 30 minute long reviews tells you what you will hear in this video example given the compatibility with consoles and certain gaming modes on those consoles as well as the differences in the port and port selections. This is exactly what I need to make a decision and I’m certain now that I want the Asus XG 27CNDNG. I wanted to have it before but now I am certain.
the Alienware AW2725DF is currently around 600 Euros, while the Asus XG27ACDNG sits at over 800 Euro. Both prices are the absolute minimum available on the european market. Easily go for the Alienware for 200 Euro less
Hey Type-C! This was a pretty uniform and comfortable review to watch. Recently, I have found myself comparing monitors and these two were no exception. I was wondering about the MSI MPG 271QRX versus the ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACDNG that you reviewed in this video. Have you had any experience with the MSI monitor? If so, what do you think?
Hey on the website it says the asus has a semi-gloss coating. Would you say there's any noticeable difference between them? I've found both for the same price but can't decide between the two. I primarily play fps games and don't use hdr. Thanks.
@@Nightcrawlerr Go with the Asus ACDNG. It is the best option to go for if you want a 360hz QD-OLED. The " semi glossy " is just used as a title, it is glossy but just not exactly the same as on the AQDMG which is a 240hz true Glossy woled from Asus. However, they are very close to in terms of how the coating looks, the only major difference is the " pinkish " look that all QD-OLED monitors have at the moment. No, it does not affect the colors or contrast/deep blacks at all in a dim or fully dark room. However if you play with lights on, it can be an issue for some people. For people like me who always play either on a fully dark room or in a " dim " room, it isn't an issue at all. Don't be too afraid of the " semi glossy " title because as I said before it is still glossy as shown in some videos. There are some LCD's with the same " semi glossy " title but those are actually basically the same as matte and they look asbolutely horrible and nothing like the QD-OLED's. The ACDNG has a nice coating and is overall an amazing option to go for. Feel free to ask me any other questions.
Wait for the asus, or then just get something better/newer that will be available soon. Do not get the alienware ( unless you just literally need a 360hz qdoled right now then go for it, it is still extremely good but the asus is simply better, and more better options will be available soon so if I was you I would rather wait )
@PahEz hello I changed my mind Im gonna go for a 4k 240 hz 27 inch monitor instead I feel the jump from 240 to 360 hz will not be that much But jump from 1440p to 4k will be more significant
@thedarkmask4155 Hi, well I have to say that I disagree. While the jump from 240hz to 360hz is not big by any means, and normally you should always at least double your current hz, the difference between 27 inch 1440p compared to 27 inch 4k is not big at all ( unless you are very close to your monitor, and the text clarity will be slightly better in general ) the overall picture quality and how sharp it will look is not big. The PPI difference is big ( over 60 ppi's more ) however like I said since the size is the same, you will only see a difference if you are close to your monitor, if you look at ( for example ) 50cm away it will look almost the same as 1440p 27 inch. In my opinion you would benefit more from the 360hz ( only if you play games where you can get stable 360fps 24/7 ) now if you only play single player/slow paced games, or fast paced/fps games where you can only achieve max 200+ fps then I do agree that the 4k 240hz option will be better. Just keep this in mind when you buy the monitor. If you care about the motion clarity more and play fast paced/competitive/fps games where you can get 360fps+ then you should absolutely go with the 360hz option, but if you play games where you can only get ( just for an example ) max 250 fps then go with the 4k 240hz. 31.5 - 32 inch size would be the best for 4k for a pc monitor, but the 27 inch 4k will have slightly better text clarity if you are very close to your monitor.
I’m getting my first oled monitor next year and I can’t decide on which one to get 😭 the Alienware was good option but the 2.1 being not actual 2.1 is bummer. I’m looking at the MSI Mag 271qpx
I'm extremely curious. Where do you even need a headphone jack on a monitor lol? I have never seen the idea of that or why they put it on a monitor. Just plug it in your pc? Not only the audio will be better quality but it would just feel weird seeing the wires go to a monitor and could be distracting. So please reply to me and tell me what is the point of having headphone jack in a monitor, since I still don't know the reason why, even though I know quite a lot about monitors, especially when we talk about motion clarity and how it works.
Looking to upgrade but can‘t decide between the 240 woled and this. I am on an series x but looking for something future proof in case i upgrade to an pc
@@kakobilmax4074 Get the asus one. It is the best 360hz 1440p qd-oled option to go for. Also it is the newest out of them with some additional features.
Hey mate just wondering is the Asus monitor worth it cause I just got one waiting for delivery did I make the right decision cause I came from the lg 27GR95QE-B Oled that I think you reviewed in the pass and I was so disappointed I had to send back thank you hope you reply 😊
Always double your current hz to see a big difference. So go from 120-240-480-960/1000hz, or from 144hz-360hz and then from 360hz to at least to 750 hz or straight to 1000hz. This asus 360hz in general is probably the best 360hz qd-oled available for now though. Hope this helped.
As for Indian users asus availability sucks and bad support. Dell availability is good and support is good ( no question replacement policy for this monitor)
i just bought one on black friday , had it a few days and all of a sudden while watching youtube it turns itself off , did it two more times the next day so i called tech support , they wanted to remote connect to my pc to take logs !! 🤣🤣- nope , made every effort to say it was my pc thats the problem - nope , wouldnt send a replacement and even tried saying it was out of the return warrenty time , ive had it 28 days and can return it till 31st jan 2025 🤣🤣 , so off it goes back to amazon , bye bye , so much for dell's no question replacement policy eh !!
I bought them both after watching your reviews. In my country the alienware was 100 euro cheaper. Either way i think i liked the alienware better because i changed nothing except the brightness to 80% and i was happy:). The alienware also dident dim like the asus model in darker scenes. I only play in sdr. Though i now sold the alienware because i dont need 2 oleds and rest of setup is rog so :) Maybe i will be able to finetune it so it dosent dim in some dark scenes we will se:)

This 100%. ACDNG is imo a lot better than any of the other models.
Your xg27acdng measurements are really weird, are you sure those are correct? Expecially in hdr (in your review)
I think he disabled the uniform brightness option
I have a different Asus oled and disabling that makes it way brighter
what are you going do with such high brightness?
I'm thinking of ordering an ASUS, but I'm worried that in a previous video you mentioned the display getting hot. Is it that hot?
