Shaq, where i'm from, around the beaumont texas area, almost everyone that partied in the bars in the 90's had a Dimebag story. He is sorely missed by so many.
ReqLeBeax lol Me too
Forever share these stories my guy ... Forever dime bag Darrel
Amen
that’s fire, love from Long Island NY
I was born and raised in Nederland TX, 15 minutes away from Beaumont. I didn't realize he hung in Beaumont so much. That's crazy.
Hey coach. Pantera - Walk has been on the bench for too long. Time to put em in.
B Cherry make it the live from the 101 proof album and we in buissines
I was jamming this album when I graduated in 1996!!!! Listen to WALK
Rickye Welton ditto
You will love the bars on WALK....please react
WALK. BE. JUMPIN! I challenge you to NOT bang your head to the bounce
This came out in 1990, from the Cowboys from hell album. And the lead singer is Phil Anselmo, and he had a ass kicking voice back then.
Rock on 🤘🤘
Phil came in 95 , phil was on cowboys from hell , correct me if im wrong please , constructive correction please.
Robert Belote, the album came out in late 1989, and I believed Phil joined in like 87. They had another singer in the mid 80s. They had like 3 albums before Cowboys, they were more of a hair metal band back in those early years, but Phil and the Cowboys album just put them on a whole different level. If you wanted to do some research, RUclips has the Early albums, not too bad either. Also, there is a great home video of Phil and the boys with Kerry king rehearsing and doing a cover of Judas Priest victim of changes, really cool!!!!! Phil’s voice was unbelievable back then, almost sounded better than priests versian🤘🤘
@@GM-lq4eu thanks
Phil's voice is even more badass now.
Honestly the last glam pantera album is really good
This song brings out the tears every time I here it it was my big brother s favor and naw he's gone from cancer and he pops in my mind every time I hear this song it's hard but love it
No two brothers played harder than those two. R I P
Gallagher brothers are the best!
Snow Informer
RIP dimebag baby.
Max and Igor...
No brothers rocked harder than Malcolm and Angus Young! and they did it for more than 40 years. Respect to Dime and Vinnie tho'! Two of the best of all time.
It tool all four. Love & respect all of em. Fantastic muscians
Walk-pantera. It’s one of their more popular songs but still good.
Yes definitely a good one!
Yeah "Walk" shoulda been first reaction in my opinion.
Daniel Blake Agreed!
I love how music really brings everybody together.
Love walk! And 5 minutea alone!
When he freaked out to the first of Phil's screams at the end I only thought "Oh, you don't even know what awaits you a few seconds from now"
I just want to say, I really really appreciate the love and respect showed to them. I’m glad you realized their talent, and that you were so respectful you didn’t even want to wear the wig. (Although they would have encouraged it). I’ve been listening to this band since I was in my mothers womb. She even went to see them while she was about 6 months along with me. It’s nice to see someone that normally would never give this music the time of day, is now truly enjoying it, and getting what it’s supposed to make you feel. Thank you man. And also just want to make a request. I want to see you react to some of the most extreme metal you can find on this planet. Either Blasphemian by Infant Annihilator, or Embedded I’m Fear by Signs of the Swarm.
Listen to ( Pantera- Hollow) you'll really think they predicted, something with that song. It's my favorite Pantera tune....🤘R.I.P. Dimebag and Vinny Paul 🌹 🌹
Oscar Gamboa that song is about a friend of Anselmo’s who was a roadie for the band. He was hit by a drunk driver and left in a coma.
Yes! Hollow is sooo good!!
@@eldiego68 That's crazy. I never knew that.
@@MrEpicTricks Hellyeah it is Brotha'! 🤘
Or 10s
Hell yeah more Pantera!! Do yourself a favor and react to Floods by Pantera, I love all Dime's solos but the solo in Floods is fucking beautiful and badass at the same time! 🤘🤘
Facts!
Best Outro in metal history
Absolutely!!!
Justin Bowman that outro is so good someone made a 3 hour loop of it.
Broken by Pantera has always been my fav. Really dirty groove on the main riff
LOVE SLAUGHTERED!!!
I’m Broken*
"5 Minutes Alone" by Pantera. also "I'm Broken" by pantera has one of the best heavy metal guitar riffs of all time.
Pantera THIS LOVE...I saw Pantera live in 2001, the greatest concert I've ever been to.
R.I.P brothers
React to “cowboys from hell “from pantera
Good and metal hair worthy.
Killa album. Far beyond butt driven
Yes the live version 😁
Absofuckinglutely
Y E S
Now you have to do Black Label Society's In this river.. It's a tribute to Dimebag from his friend Zakk Wylde..
And yes I. Realize this is a 3 year old post.
Definitely has to be done, one of the best tributes ever
If you could react to another song by Pantera, “This Love” would be a good one I think you might like to do.
Yo @nolifeshaq you best do that
I love that song
Bro Dimebag and Vinnie were awesome together man r.i.p. to both of them they are surely missed.. I stood 5ft from dimebag at a show in the 80s when they first came out small venues amazing stuff I seen them about seven times over the years they used to come here to Virginia every year on Phil's birthday
Hell yes more pantera
Cemetery Gates is by far my favorite Pantara gig!
Cowboys from Hell is the catchiest, but Cemetery Gates has the best replay value. I've tried getting into the rest of their discography, but it's hard to find any songs that work with me.
@@jacobshirley3457 I like the bangers like domination, heresy, rise, mouth for war, and fcking hostile those are great songs. I havent actually listened to their other albums other than cowboys and vulgar display.
I’ve been listening to Panthers since I was born and this song brings me to tears EVERY single time!
I still have dimebag Darrell's pic's. R.I.P. dimebag Darrell you were the best.
Hey Shaq, look up the friendship between zakk wylde and dimebag. Then react to "In This River..". You're welcome 😊
Thank you for giving respect to Vinnie & Dimebag on your channel! We metalheads truly appreciate it! 🤘
This truly is an underrated (in most circles) masterpiece...
2:50 This song was released in 1990
I'm glad you pointed that out. 15 yrs ago was about the time Dimebag passed. Also I love my dude Shaq but to experience this song fully is when Phil and Darrel mimic each others high note. Still got respect for dabbling into the metal scene.
They looking down smiling at as hip hop guy finding metal. They already saved metal once. Everyone thought grunge had taken over and then they dropped far beyond driven and said hold up. Metal is alive and good
You hear Dime?
*makes drumming motion*
Luv it Shaq!
I still remember the first time I heard Pantera back in the early 90's. They came to the town I lived in and the local radio station promoted the concert on the radio. Dimebag and Phil's outro to this song was part of the radio advertisement. I had no idea who they were, but when I heard Dimebag's guitar dive scream at the end of this song I had to find out who they were. I had never heard anything like that. It gave me chills then, and still gives me chills today. RIP Dimebag and Vinnie!!
Phil Anselmo was their vocalist. Guy was a BEAST.
PureGonzo I love pantera and Phil. But Phil went on a rant about how dimebag is the reason Pantera broke up and that’s what made the psycho go and shoot dimebag. So hold my reservation on him being such a beast.
PureGonzo "was" sadly, anyway hes my inspiration back in the day :(
@@jayfwe lol. Yep. The real reason they broke up is because Phil was a KNOWN dope user. Vinnie and Dime liked to drink. Here's the full story.
www.blabbermouth.net/news/vinnie-paul-how-pantera-fell-apart/
Still is. He is in a band now called DOWN
I highly highly highly recommend u react to Judas Priest painkiller please back me on this people!!!!!!!! Who agrees shaq would have a heart attack with all the talent??????
Or Leather Rebel or One Shot at Glory
Painkiller might kill him
Painkiller or Dissident Aggressor would be brilliant shaq would probably die from the head banging alone
I'm actually worried for this reaction to happen. Shaq might not make it to the end. but you need to react to this Coach!!!
Death's cover of painkiller is amazing, I would even go to say it's better than the original
The GREATEST metal band...EVER...PERIOD...panteras music saved my life countless times...if it weren't for dime and his phenomenal playing I would be dead...THANK YOU PANTERA \m/
Iron Maiden Hallowed be thy name live 1982. Best live performance of the song and a great display of Bruce Dickenson's vocal range plus it's just a great song through and through.
Probably know by now but dimebag played guitar and Vinnie played drums, Phil Anselmo sings...you want to go crazy with the wig...do Walk by Pantera
Damn son Rex don't get no love never.
That's touff!
Rip to dime and vinnie.. Legends.. Respect for you as well.. Put that wig on for "I'm broken" and "forever is my name" by pantera, the videos..
Both of those songs are good!
Forever is my name? You mean revolution is my name right???
@@andrewcrawford4611 yep
I love this song so much. It really captures the like dual feeling of anger and sadness over the passing of a person. Maybe your sad, angry at others or unfinished business; or happy that their pain is over. It’s legit beautiful.
The sheer talent of Dime to hit those strings like a voice!!! Yo! Thats's tuff!
Omerta by lamb of God.
Be careful Coach! This ones a doozy!
Jinjer - Pisces
Yes Omerta or no remorse for the dead. Or maybe black label if you are feelin a lil crazy
HATEBREED PERSERVERANCE. It's my workout jam! I believe that you'll love it coach!
Mines hatebreed destroy everything. Hahahaha. Gotta do what ya gotta do!
Also live for this and I will be heard
I was fortunate enough to see Pantera twice. Once opening up for Black Sabbath and I saw them at their last NYC area show back in 2001
Walk and this love should be next on the reaction list. Keep up the good work. Love the energy. I am a fan of all kinds of music, so seeing all the different reactions keeps me watching.
Finally! RIP! DIME and VINNI ! YOU HIT HOME RUN COACH! HORNS UP!! \m/
The Art of Shredding. Dime kills it. Vinnie lays down some nice drum beats. Phil Ansalmo, who hit the high note, sings his ass off. RIP Dime and Vinnie.
RIP BROTHERS 🙏🏽!!!!!!! TOGETHER AGAIN ROCKING HARD!!!!!!
After I lost my mom on my 21st birthday in 09 this song has carried a deep meaning for me. I still blast this when I think about her
PANTERA = Life. Love you Shaq!
COACH!!!!!! System of a down BYOB. Perfect for the new wig
I have to give a big 1000% agree with that , that song and this dude, would be like apples and pie crust.
Was lucky enough to see the band on the Ozzfest tour...hell of a show! Enjoyed your reaction man! RIP Vinnie & Dime...🤘🏼
Shaq you want to react to something og. Anthrax with public enemy.
Hell yeah
Right!
Love the mashing of rap and metal!
Bring the noise best mash up
yes! great song! Get it my guy!
Slipknot - The Heretic Anthem. Lock that hair on tight... This one's a headbanger
Not sure my guy can handle this one. He will definitely need the wig
If you're 555 ...
Custer is another in the same vein. Though I think "Spit it Out" from Download 2009 needs to be his next Slipknot
@@pauljacobi340 I've been posting this under just about every Metal reaction he ever did ^^
@@pauljacobi340 the music video for spit it out would have him losing his shit 😂😂🤣
Literally just finished watching a bunch of covers and now I see this
Hey Shaq, just found your channel and love it! I've seen Pantera 4 times and the original crew of Phil, Vinnie, Dime and Rex were as good as it gets! love your videos!!
One of the only reactions to this song I could find that actually includes the full intro, I’m late as hell but I appreciate it and love your vids shaq, hope you’re doing well
And the song is about losing friends to suicide...
Bro I got your wig song for you right here. SUICIDAL TENDENCIES - YOU CANT BRING ME DOWN. Do yourself a favor and React to the unedited video. If you like this thrash stuff, you'll love ST.
Nah, that's shit
The best rant in a song, ever.
yesss!!
Thats a good one.
He ain't ready for that
Judas Priest - Painkiller is lit!!!🔥🔥🔥
My wife and I have been listening to this song in the car on repeat for weeks gives me freaking chills hardcore even still! I actually have it on repeat at work as well! All the while just sending prayers and love my heart aches. I discovered Pantera so late in my life but it hits so hard.
this is the song that introduced me to pantera and I couldn't be more honored to have had this be my personal introduction as a kid because it is such a homage to their work. R.i.p dimebag. Your soul lives on through your music
Cowboys From Hell or Five Minutes Alone both by Pantera.
Fuck yes 5 mins alone
“5 Minutes ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNE!!!!!!”
Yes!!! I’m so excited for you to hear this! If you wanna wear your wig, I’d suggest some Slipknot. I lost my shit when you paused for the high notes. I was like just wait for it. 🤣 Great reaction. This is a classic Pantera song. You got to do Five Minutes Alone and watch the video. It’s an absolutely amazing song and a more amazing video. Fun fact: I own one of Dime’s Reebok’s from the 90’s he threw from the stage. It’s on a shelf in a glass box. lmao!
Kelly Rushing wow! That is soooo cool! Lucky!
Kelly Rushing yeahhhh
I’d post a pick but I don’t think you can do that?
@@williamskellyl1 just link a screen shot :) ez pz
Andrew Crawford yeah I have no idea how to do that lol
Pure respect man it’s goes deep . RIP
Your reactions are so pure and I love it
Love listenin to you !!! You crack me up..
React to HOLLOW by PANTERA the riff at the end makes me want to run through a brick wall
Love the way you enjoy the song ,good to see that man 👍
i love watchin ur videos man uve got a strong ass ear and flow for the rhythyms n stufff owwwww !!!
Classic my guy!!! 🤘✌️
Btw this song came out before you were born in like 1991. Thus song is NOT about vinnie. It’s about another friend of phils who passed away! Vinnie is on this song...playing those beautiful drums!
Not heavy metal but an amazing song..listen to blackbird by alter bridge the guitar solo is amazing!
@Kristopher Perez still depend on what metal is for you. Personally, I think Alter Bridge are more hard rock than metal
You are killing it dude. I've watched all of your rock reviews in just a few hours. Between you and KTF, yall are the greatest thing on RUclips ! You got me rollin'...
i really respect this guys attention to detail and doing each song justice. and doing research, its not just some click baiter! much respect my guy!
YESSSS!!!! You finally reacted to Cemetery Gates. 🤘🏼😎
Old Skool metal...... Quiet Riot... Metal Health(bang your head).
That's the band Randy Rhoads left to join Ozzy!!!
Much love and respect
Shaq your seriously the best to watch react to all this great music thanks for always having an open mind your awesome
#RIPDimeBag
#RIPVinnie
Nice Shaq! Love dem Pantera boys.
BLACK SABBATH - fairies wear boots
Fuck that
Electric Funeral
It’s awesome seeing you start dabbling with metal Shaq. I became a fan and subscribed to your channel by watching all your hip hop reactions, but my favorite genre is metal. I also think it’s awesome that in the comments everyone is embracing you and welcoming you into the metal scene with open arms. People who aren’t into it think all of us in the metal scene as just like evil angry devil worshippers and the media paints us that way also. I’m glad you’re seeing firsthand how/why the metal community is one of the closest communities there is.
A new level by pantera 🤘 one of my favorites
You have to do the song “hollow” by pantera ,it’s an absolute must
Best reaction dude on the planet.
i watch you for rap found these pantera vids my fave band dude what a diverse channel love it
This whole song gives me chills I just love dimebag man he’s my idol
This is dope asf
10:35 Phil Anselmo
You just beat me to it. Anselmo is one of the best front men ever!
Cemetery Gates is by far my favorite Pantera song! Every time this song comes around on the radio you can’t help to just crank that volume .
My favorite band of all time. Still breaks my heart they're gone. I'm very glad you did a reaction
here's a song you can go crazy headbanging to
Metallica - Whiplash
My thoughts exactly. 🤘 BATTERY would work as well.
@@loriq2492 yes, battery as well! and a lot of others, but just wanted to give him one for now :) don't want his head falling off, then there would be no more videos! lol
DICK RASH
Or blackened
Bro, just fell upon your reviews with Chris Stapleton. I'm hooked on your heavy metal reviews. Way to break the mold, man. I'm a true fan. You have me falling out
Just catching up, Glad you heard this and know the back story. Keep rockin!
Dude I’m a huge pantera fan and pacers fan. I straight dig this video because of this. Much love dude
Some heavy shit listen to early Whitechaple
Pantera - cowboys from hell. Hella lit!
Slipknot -spit it out (live) please. 👍

2009 Download festival specifically :)
@@rogerbraswelljr.923 Fuck the live version
I don't know about a live version, but this is STILL my favorite Slipknot song
Yo shaq you are 100% lit and legit. You capture the essence and feeling of what you hear. That's what distinguishes you above all the rest. You actually recognize what you're hearing. Good bless you bro. And bless dime and vinnie
Love this song and your reaction
You should react to Chimaira- Save Ourselves. They were friends with Dimebag and Vinnie and their guitarist, Rob Arnold dedicated all his solos on that album to Dimebag Cause it was released a year after Dime was killed. Killer track AND solo
This was off their debut album, COWBOYS FROM HELL
5th album, but yes CFH
@@KyleDanielson42
First album *WRITTEN WRITTEN WRITTEN* by Vinnie Dime Rex and *PHILIP*
Its also the first Pantera album not to feature a performance by a teenager. Most people dont care about music Dimebag wrote in 8th grade
First heard PANTERA back in 92. "Mouth For War" was the first song I ever heard by them. I became an instant fan. They are 2nd to none in the metal world...period.
When he hears #Phil sing #GAAAAATES..... at the end.... his response is #EPIC #PhilAnselmo #Pantera
please do a reaction to primus.....les claypool is the bass player and hes pure fire!!! his take on bass playing is very unique and you would love it
Primus sucks
My Name is Mud or Mr. Krinkle!!
Sepultura- Refuse Resist
Hellyeah or maybe Attitude
