Looks good, amazing how it brought the back ground light level up enough to see things that are just shadow on the normal set up and have good light on your face with no lights and a strong natural light coming in from the window to the side. I need to think about getting a lower f-stop lense for videos like these. Great video with the Christmas lights

I have the Canon lens, but since it starts at f4 it is almost not use able for some real estate situations when filming real estate for agents. So the f2 would be so helpful in a budget wide angle lens, but having the image stabilization would be nice. Looks like I Great Lens!! Nice review!!

I just got this lens in December. I’ve found it to be super useful for shots when I’m recording in rooms and gets some pretty cool landscape shots as well. I plan to use this lens and do some Milky Way Shots later this year. Overall I think it’s truly a bang for your buck.
When you switched to the Rokinon in the studio there was a greenish tint added to the video. Not sure if it was just because of the lens or something to do with post production.

I finally watched the video and I now know you're discussing a fixed focal length lens for attachment to a mirrorless camera, something I would immediately understand. Reconsider the thumbnail text, maybe?
Presently I am shopping for a wide angle lens to be used for my Canon M50 's 4k video, since the M50 4k video is severely cropped. I am still undecided between the Rokinon 12mm f/2.0 and the Rokinon 8 mm f/2.8. The 12mm will be faster @ f/2.0, but I am leaning towards the 8mm, bc it is much wider.( to compensate for the huge cropping). However, I am concerned that, when using it for still pictures, the 8mm would give an fisheyed image which i do not like. What do you think ? Thánks a lot for your advice.

Love your reviews and your suggestions. I disagree that you can't get quality from the third party lenses, I know I have used Yongyuo 50mm and liked it. I have 50mm ef, 40mm ef and the 15-45 kit lens, and I'd love this to round out my kit.

I have the Rokinon 14 MM f 2.8 and can use it with an adapter for the Canon M6 but thinking about getting this lens just because its M mount and the weight is probably more in line with carrying the M6 than the bigger Rokinon 14 MM.
Looks good but having the 10-18mm Canon for Vlogging I can't go without the IS and the AF! Seems like an awesome lens and I would love some low light performance! Nice job bringing that lens to my attention! ;)

Nice review. Most definitely a Photography lens. For video, it would be okay for stationary shots on a tripod, but for vlogging, this is NOT a lens one should invest in. Even if you bought a gimbal (around $300-$400), that would add to the total overall price, and you might as well get glass whereby it has IS built in with autofocus. But for photos, this is a nice lens. Looks crisp indeed.

Wishes put slide shutter to protect sensor on mirrorless like my old 8mp Olympus compact mirrorless camera. BUT it's ok...use cap but shutter is better.

Unfortunately nothing exists, at least under $400 (I never check costly lens, in my opinion a lens shouldn't cost more than $40 but as people are accustomed to cough up several hundred dollars for a scrap of polished glass inside a chunk of plastic nothing will ever change..).

Pretty sharp. But primes will always have a sharpeness advantage over zooms. Really like the range of the EF-M 11-22 mm zoom though.
Check out the 7Artisans 7.5mm f2.8 fisheye. Its even more affordable and good for those creative shots!

You should review the EFM 22mm f/2 lens - if you haven’t already
