@@ai_vfx856 Thanks again.Its is a x270. When I enable secure boot through bios as per your suggestion it starts with a blue screen with a boot menu . Maybe its locked because I bought it second hand?
Cameras and screens often do this, the screen refresh rate and the cameras shutter speed interfere causing a rolling pattern. You will see a similar effect if you video record something rotating or fast moving. Sorry, i'm lazy and didn't do screen capture :)
Not sure. and license for this is evaluation, not based on the digital license inside. you might be better of finstalling windows 10 if you are worried about stuff like that.

Easy and quick instal + updates. Machine is X270 i5/7 gen. Much easier than I've expected and no issues found yet.

Battery performance on windows 11 is pretty amazing. I have the dual battery setup and I have my power settings go to best battery mode at 50%.
