    A lot of great acting in this episode. Dafne Keen did some amazing dueling. Very impressed by her but she’s great in most things.

    I loved this episode! It finally felt like Star Wars for me. The fight was great, shame they got a little space happy with the wipes.
    Bringing Cortosis into canon was great, but why didn’t they explain it for those that haven’t read Timothy Zahn’s book Vision of the Future? This is a reoccurring problem with Disney SW, they assume that all viewers have consumed every comic, book, animated, live action, and movie.
    Shame Vader’s armour wasn’t made of Cortosis.
    The young papawan and the Sith lord were standout characters for me. Great acting and powerful combatants.
    The fight was truly excellent, it actually felt dangerous which is a rarity these days.
    Why weren’t the bugs attracted to the lightsabers light?
    Can’t believe Mae flipped. Again.
    First she loves her sister, then she wants to burn her alive.
    Then she loves her again and is willing to turn herself over to the Jedi.
    This episode she decided not to turn herself in, to attack her sister, and steal her identity. 😵‍💫
    Jason: I think Sol concluded that Smilo-Ren was a Sith and phrased his words to get his enemy to confirm it. Maybe?
    Weird that Sol couldn’t smell Mae’s burnt hair or sense her in the force.
    The helmet having the ability to block thoughts is a rip from Magneto’s helmet in X-MEN

    I’m sure this has already been established but he def doesn’t heal her, he just used the force to turn her over. If you watch it closely you can see that the wound doesn’t close and she moves without him touching her.

  • @Secretsongs20

    I think Venestra is the real Sith Master. She tried hard to hide this up from the Jedi Council, she had them come back to Coruscant to waste time, and she mislead everyone by saying Mae was trained by a Jedi. Even if no one survives, the Jedi Council would get very suspicious when they hear 8 Jedi were killed on Khofar! Some Jedi can see the past by touching things, or otherwise gain some insights through visions. Someone must have deleted the information from the inside. Maybe by claiming they were killed by those flying beasts. So I think it’s Venestra.

    • @matthewk4912
      @matthewk4912 Месяц назад

      Vernestra was a dedicated good guy Jedi in the High Republic books and comics so that would be quiet the turn

    • @Secretsongs20
      @Secretsongs20 Месяц назад

      @@matthewk4912 Someone deleted the fact that Osha had a sister from her file. How did Qimir know that Kelnacca was on Khofar when even the Jedi hadn’t heard from him for a year. I think there’s a Sith spy inside the Jedi temple.

    • @matthewk4912
      @matthewk4912 Месяц назад +1

      @@Secretsongs20 Oh yes, there's definitely a Sith spy. It would certainly be interesting if it was Vernestra, but if she turns out to be either the Sith or just aiding the Sith, I hope the storytelling is coherent and makes sense. It's interesting but I feel like it could go both ways - well done or poorly done.

    Agree Qimir is the apprentice. Is it possible that Qimir is Plaguis? If Palp is 60-70 in TPM, and Plaguis is his master, then either Qimir is Plaguis, Qimirs master is Plaguis, or Qimir dies and the master takes on Plaguis as a replacement... Am I off somewhere?

    The last two episodes should have been a single episode. This 24 minute episode bullshit is grinding on my gears.
    That being said this episode was fantastic. I absolutely loved it. Minus some laughable spots and some that border on down right stupid. Like the hair cutting scene and the twins have identifying tats. I think Hot Boi Sith knows that wasn't Mae because he saw her tattoo and the burned hair. But Sol not knowing that wasn't Osha is just laughable. She has a forehead tattoo lol.

    If the Witches are Evil and got what they deserved for creating "unnatural life" then how is Rae being dead and brought back to life by Kylo not just as Evil since it's legit Necromancy (aka "black magic") and "unnatural"? "because it was sacrifice out of sexy love..." And the witches creating life wasn't out of love?

    Great fight choreography but not much else for me in this show.
    The unmasking reveal didn't mean anything because it unmasked a character people already don't like or care about. The only really impactful unmasking would've been of Carrie Ann Moss's character.
    That would've hit hard on multiple levels because it would mean Jedi betrayal, witch/Sith infiltration of the Jedi (how many others could there be that infiltrated the Jedi as well? This would create "The Thing" level paranoia among the Jedi that I've never seen in SW before), and a clever fake death plot that fooled most of the audience. A much-needed holy sht moment that Disney SW is sorely lacking and has been for years.
    Add to the disappointment of:
    - feeling no attachment to most of the main characters.
    - a show based on less than compelling mysteries.
    - a show that makes itself feel frivolous with network cartoon-length episodes: which is especially bad when compared to the near feature-length episodes of House of the Dragon, The Boys, etc. that feel epic in scope by comparison.
    - sets that look sets. Like small, cheap, obvious sound stages instead of being filmed on location or seamlessly on The Volume
