Second, tip for Roxy, or anyone that plays with Maelstrom and goes Reverse, always play to put your opponent in an unfavorable position. Note: I'm aware these games are for casual fun. it's critical analysis for the future When you are on Maelstrom Reverse, you are more rewarded for whiffing attacks. and should your opponent get triggers, that makes the turn just as easy. if there is a Maelstrom in soul, you can miss an attack, lock a standing unit, and snipe the rg you want to get rid of and setup the opponent for a bad decision either way. the decision being: lose or neg 5+ from hand looking forward to more stuff
Yup, I realised I could have made more optimal plays after the game! Because since a miss from a rearguard and a miss from Maelstrom Reverse can result in -2 for the opponent, I should have gone for no hits instead of directly attacking rears! thank you for the constructive criticism, will do better in future videos! ~Roxy
