Keep Your Daydream I remember Trish loving the airstream you saw at a park one time. I told my hubby then these guys are going to get an airstream. Nice rig guys. Looking forward to the newbie run through again. I haven’t used my water cause I don’t know how to use it. How to fill what to push if anything the hot water tank I don’t know what or how it fills. Needless to say I’ve had the trailer for 4 years now. Never ran water through it. I don’t have friend that are will to show me how so I’ve be watching you guys for a couple years now hoping to catch a basic lesson. 😊
My trick to getting the family to leave the house when I want is to tell them that we are leaving a hour earlier than I actually want. Then when they are finally ready, they are on time!
My family and I are so excited to see your new rig. I want to thank you for the great word you gave at the beginning of your video. I am a front line worker here in Ohio. Working the isolation floor. No amount of money could ever say thanks but your kind words have. We watch you all and are totally inspired by you and your family. We are a family of 8 children, one we lost in July. We camp almost every weekend and we love watching you all when we are in our down time. Thank you so much again for the special thanks.
Thank you for your work. My daughter is working as a CNA while in college, she came home for break and then got called to go back east to work and I am proud of her but wished she stayed home.
That sales guys and his wife should start their own utube channel. Some people might not watch it but in this crazy Today-World they could really brighten up some peoples day! So much hate and negative distractions now-a-days, its really really nice to see real love being emitted from peoples heart.
We bought our 27FT FB Airstream in 2017, we full timed for two years and then last year we bought a Villa at North Texas Airstream Community in Hillsboro, Texas. We have a nice place to stay when we are not traveling, a great place to keep our Airstream out of the weather and a wonderful community of travelers! We are so thankful we bought this place before the Pandemic hit. We love our Airstream and we are so happy to be living riveted!! Welcome to the Airstream community!!
I'm going to be honest my wife and I have been counting the days down since yall purchased the teardrop to when you all would get back to this type of rving. We really enjoy getting ideas from your travels and teardroping isn't in the books for my family of five.
NOW that is the classic RV. My grandparents AS was my first RV experience 40+ years and they still make my heart race when I see one anywhere. Awesome choice! THIS is going to be the BEST KYD season!
I’m so glad your taking it back to the basics it’s what made us all fall in love with KYD it the first place. All the different rigs were interesting and informative and gave us a chance to vicariously live through all of you, it did change the content. Can’t wait to see where the airstream takes you, when we’re all able to travel again. We bought our first travel trailer and KYD has been so inspiring for us. Better to start small now then never start at all has become such a motivator for us, especially now after these trying times. So we thank you. 🇨🇦
Ahhhhh, the ESSENCE OF KYD. This is exactly what I had hoped for (secretly of course) because it is what brought me to KYD in the first place. Traveling in a TT. Of course I would have followed you no matter what you camp in but this is much more relatable - at least for me.
Thank you for the shots of New Mexico and specifically my home of Albuquerque! Glad you found a rig that "feels like home" and even more that you can keep it at the cabin! When the time is right - enjoy!!
Have been looking forward to this episode! My wife and I have been watching for quite some time and thanks to the encouraging words, we are gonna be purchasing a Rig. We set aside our “dreams” and chose to make what we want a reality. Tricia always talks about “just get out there and start making memories now”. We have 3 locked down and just need to figure out which trailer we want. Hopefully this Covid19 can blow over so we can get out there and start making memories! Keep up the great work!
Front line guy here. Enjoying your content to distract me from the job. Stay safe! Consuming all of your knowledge for when I retire as an LEO and finally buy a truck and RV.
Was Jonesing for this episode. Sunday just isn't right without a visit. Beautiful trailer. Quite a step up from the teardrop. Hopefully this year will be easier on the whole family.
OMG!!! I'm so excited for you all!!!! My husband and I bought one last June! We down-sized from a Class C to a 27ft. Airstream and we are enjoying it so much. The perfect classic TT and we just love the simpleness of it for sure.I can't wait to see how you organize it! Congrats!!!
I am sitting here watching this part about the truck purchase nodding along with your trials in getting this truck and saying, well I guess I am not alone. I just spent the last month trying to buy my perfect truck, I searched across the country to try and get everything I wanted on the same truck without compromise. I could not get the local dealers to look beyond 350 miles for inventory, they said they were limited to, I had to do all the leg work myself. This vehicle purchase was not like any others, all past ones were bought just to get to work, school, doctors, you get it. This one was going to be exactly what I wanted, besides, I NEED that smile you have on while driving the truck while still having the two kids a dog and wife in the truck for hours right? :) I actually ended up placing and order for the 2021 F-250 the exact way I wanted it or so I thought, then I met one of my camping friends who said you really should have got the F-350, he bought the F-250 and had to add that extra leaf spring to get a better level ride. Yep I called and canceled that order and changed it to the F-350. It should be here in December, I just can't wait.
13:38 WOW, Look at how close Caleb is to the roof of the truck! That gives a good perspective of how tall he's gotten since your last F250 when we was sitting in the middle seat.
Congratulations on your new truck and rig. I owned a new Airstream in 1976. It was 26' long, and cost me 10k. I was 22 at the time and basically had a mortgage payment. I had it for ten years and loved it. Please take care and be safe!
I hope whom ever got your last set up, has a wonderful time. I agree that a hitch is much easier and less fussy then a 5th wheel. Plus, all you littles are flying the nest and Airstreams keep their value very well. Glad you didn't go with an A or C! Best wishes, See you next Sunday, Danielle
Well it’s about time!!!! We had an Airstream Flying Cloud for 5 years and 100,000 miles. Loved it and I’m excited to see you experiencing this other type of RV. Enjoy the quirks and joys that an Airstream will bring to you.
I was pretty sure you were getting an Airstream after the several mentions the "the financial math of a motorized RV is not penciling out". I'm totally with you in that regard. A towable RV brings so much more freedom to explore! Hence the reason I just bought one about 2 weeks ago.
A towable RV brings so much more freedom to explore! Explain that to me. Maybe you can keep me from spending a bunch on a motorhome and toad combo. Thanks
@@tomlyles3717 Essentially, you are typically going to spend more on a self propelled RV that will typically have quicker depreciation along with less versitility. A Truck + travel trailer combo works great because you keep your height down which let's you fit more places as well as you get a nice truck out of the deal.
@@adamliggett2621 I guess I look at motorized rvs as more maneuverable....hence freeing. I see big motorhomes backed into sites I wouldn't want to try backing my 38ftr into, all the time. They carry their own generators ...so they are more equipped to boondock , right out of the gate . I see that as more freeing. (Or maybe I'm just want something I don't have..lol) Thanks
@@tomlyles3717 hey there. Four months since you posted, but I am with you on this. I REALLY want to get an older Prevost conversion (20+ yrs old). I love them, and the features and comfort they offer. We already have toads from my wife's Grand Cherokee, to my old Wrangler (talk about freedom to explore!) or I just got a half-ton so have the tow-behind option, but a half-ton really limits our size/features options as you know. I'm still craving the Prevost for just the entire experience, but I'm not sure if having something so big and complex, with dated components will wilt my soul with system failures and maintenance. Were you thinking Class-A?
Excited for you. My wife and I are empty nesters and purchased a 22FB Bambi in Feb 2019. That’s when I started watching your channel and learned a lot. We completed our first cross country trip in Oct 2019. You will love this iconic trailer.
Just catching up on missed episodes, and would like to say, Trish, that even more than new trailers, I'm impressed at the fact that Mark has managed to get into a situation where he's bought how many new trucks over the past few years? After the 150, an F-250, an F-450, a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, and now another F-250. Mark, I stand in awe, dude. Especially as a fellow Ford man. 👍
I was surprised that you went to this. We actually sold our 2015 Flying Cloud 30FB and now have a Grand Design. We lived in ours for a year. We had to go bigger. My sanity couldn't take it anymore. We are full-time RVers.
You are absolutely right. As I am researching the RV,I first choose airstream and then head to grand design 5th wheels. The backlash of airstream is the space so limited, and if one will have full life RV,they will meet a lot of difficults.
Trish is getting her way! Platinum dog! Her favorite truck! And a Airstream just like her Dad! Go Trish! You deserve all of it! Can’t wait to see the lights strung up and meals you kick out this season.
Welcome to the Airstream family! We've been following you for just over a year now, and are tickled with your decision. Sorry about the timing, since the International Rally to have been held this June in Loveland, Colorado was cancelled. If you're not already aware, WBCCI for Airstreamers is an outstanding club. Oh-- and if someone else hasn't already mentioned it, your trailer already has a built-in pressure regulator for city water. Mike & Patty, WBCCI 2388, 2014 30' Classic/2500 HD Silverado Diesel.
Like the new rig. The Bunk 30 is the best AS family coach. Good choice. No slides - a cost effective solution. Should be heaven after a tear and a tent. Hope to see you down the road with your shiny and a smile, after.
HURRAY! The gigantimous toy hauler, wasn't into it but the place you went, I was! Then the Tear Drop, you lost me... Back to the roots and in an Airstream to boot = RE-SUBSCRIBED! LOVE IT! And yes, the irony that an Airstream probably cost as much or more than the toy hauler, isn't lost on me.
Most favorite part was Roswell, I grew up with the stories and I drove from WA to FL with my college age daughter and we ended up in Roswell. It's part of history children don't get to hear about or see (I am fortunate enough that she still likes her retired USAF Dad's stories), Ask have many people know about Route 66, most from the 50-60's show but it is historic. Thank You!
You should drop the sway control when you are making tight turns or backing in to a stall, or you will hear a loud scraping noise and fill your drawers. They are looking for another milk truck to haul milk up here if you guys have time. Maybe I missed it did you already sell your Jeep and the 50% of the people cry drop, sorry teardrop? Glad you guys are home and safe and healthy, please stay that way. I am not an Airstream snob is it ok to keep watching since I am not part of the club? Trish seems really happy and that is very important, Charlie, Caleb and Marc all seem happy too I noticed so I really am happy for you guys, XBox is the first thing to set up Caleb and Charlie already marked it so it is your new home on wheels.
I really hoped that the name was “Rin Tin Tin Gin...er.” Air horn finally getting used teaser. Seems like this truck is the keeper. Time management trip, If we have to leave by 6:00, I tell everyone we have to leave at 5:00. Can’t wait for the next season and KYD adventures. Thank you and stay safe and healthy!
I’m with Chris! We are a family of 6 with a 35ft bunk house travel trailer. We’ve toured a ton of fifth wheels and most don’t have as much usable storage inside as we have. Fifth wheels will run you 5-10k more minimum, are taller, and you loose your truck bed storage. Its also a pain to install your hitch unless you leave it in your truck. We’ve been in our rig almost 2 years full time.
Thanks Guys for the great content. I work for a fire department and took someone to the hospital who was positive for COVID so now im quarantined at home for the next several days. Going to give it a couple days and get my camper out of storage and ride this out doing what I enjoy more than my job.
We have been watching your videos for a few years now we have been thinking for awhile to full time RV. We live in New York and work in a hospital. And when all this is over we decided not to wait no longer we are going to purchase and RV and travel for a few months just to make sure it’s something to do full time. So thank you so much for all your videos and how to videos. Stay safe and god bless.
The boyfriend and I are traveling to Michigan to pick up a 5th wheel once this is all over. 36-hour drive for us 😅 Oregon to Michigan here we eventually come once COVID is over lol
A bit old school here. 2000 F-250 and a 77 30' Airstream. This season will be a bit more fun for me than before even though I have lived in Flag and Anchorage! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing these videos even in the covid era. I’m a health care worker and believe me when Im off, I want to dream again. I want to not think about what’s going on everywhere. Thank you for the hope in tomorrow. We love airstreams. Can’t wait to see how you make it yours!!!
We live in Ca. and it is a messed up state. They try to screw every dollar they can out of you. Beautiful setup you have there. That 250 should ride much nicer that the 450. Great color also. Thought it might be a pusher but wrong again. Maybe the next RV. Sorry for the cracked windshield. Looks like you handled it well. Another good week. You guys stay safe and healthy..
@jim g I retired end of Oct 2018 in N. CA and bought my 34’ Outdoors RV in Chico. Knowing I was moving as soon as possible in the spring, I desperately tried to register it at purchase in Montana where I was moving to. No sales tax in MT. I couldn’t outright buy it and hadn’t established residency so I got extorted for close to $5k in CA taxes. Move to MT, CA sends the 2019 registration fee and they wanted $839 (I about gagged). I registered it in MT, customized word on a specialized plate (there’s like over 100 special interest group plates to choose from). Just a custom plate in CA is around $50 extra a year. All of that combined, $224. Same for my truck and car. PERMANENT, NO REGISTRATION FEES EVER AGAIN. I’m just sorry I didn’t wait until I moved to get the trailer... CA is behind messed up. I had a great job in LE. As a single guy I barely covered living expenses, I don’t know how people in their early 20’s pull off an apt/house and everything else. My insurance here is half the cost. My electricity is over half cheaper. On the other end, I don’t know how Montanan’s with much lower salaries afford homes or new/newish cars...
@@ibMoose2u Glad you were able to get out of Ca. Yes this state run by the Democrats so long and all they want to do is tax tax tax and give to the lazy and illegal. If we did not have medical issues and a lot of doctors I would be out of here. I have been retired for 11 years now. Only thing going for us is everything is paid for and we are prop 13 so property taxes are not bad. If we moved our property taxes would be way higher. Anyway I hope you are enjoying your retirement. Stay safe and keep healthy. Cheers..
We’ve had nine rv’s ! Everything from a pop up , travel trailers , a class C and a class A . Now we are on our second airstream ! We are so excited for you guys ...you will never regret getting it !
I’m so glad you’ve gone through all the RV changes though because watching your experiences and learning from your videos is helping me narrow down my choice for my first rig. I have also learned how to appreciate my truck and take better care of it. So even thought it felt like you veered off course - your experiences have been a tremendous help to me and probably a lot of other people too. Nothing is wasted.
Just started watching y'all and her dad has to be one of my most favorite people ever. He just seems so genuine. Enjoying the channel so fa! Getting my first RV tomorrow. Hope to see y'all on the road!
Regarding the flickering lights: Marc, there's a way on premiere pro to get rid of the flicker even with low lighting. McKinnon did a video tutorial on it. Hopefully it works for ya so you can enjoy the mood lighting while filming. Cheers from Caribou Lodge!
This is exactly what I needed this morning. While I am trapped in my house under quarantine, it was nice to hit the road with you guys to pick up the trailer. It was a good reminder of what life was like during g better times.
At the Window Rock exit if you look south into the red rock formations. You will see in late afternoon a glimpse of elephants with one turned looking towards I40. The sun helps with the visual. This is just west of Gallup, and at the hole in the wall used to have a real buffalo. Used to live about two miles north at the Lupton exit. Many things along there have disappeared or just have slowly faded away "Cars". One thing that has not changed is the beauty and as you showed the freight trains. At 14:18 you have a shot of the area, and caught my attention.
Caleb's LED lights address a awesome ideal for his room. I really like the colors on the inside and the Airstream looks fantastic! Ya'll stay safe and God bless ya'll!
Airstreams is probably going to give you the absolute best ROI out of any RV you could have purchased. They have an unbelievable resale value even when they are 20+ years old. Loved the video. Can’t wait for your adventures to begin in the new rig.
Finally getting a chance to watch this episode. I’ve been working our hospital system’s Incident Command Center (ICC) for the past month. It’s been a crazy busy time. Catching a bit of a breather this weekend. Somehow watching a KYD video brings a bit of normalcy to the day. Love the new Airstream! Looking forward to many exciting adventures with the new rig.
@@KeepYourDaydream I can't make out what Zack said before Caleb said "I can't wait". By the way, the rock in the windshield was NOT me. For a few weeks though, I was planning on letting you know I would be sending a moth to crash into your windshield. But I guess the rock beat me to it.
I take it the shower door is one of the roll up type? It's supposed to be very good, since it squeegees the water off as it rolls, but the learning curve of hooking it is steep. I'm not sure I've mastered it yet after two years! Look from outside and it makes sense.
Thank you guys, much appreciated. I'm at work now, Montgomery and Berks County, Pa for the next 48 hours. Keeping gloved and masked up so I can go home to family on Wednesday.
KYD - CONGRATS on your AIRSTREAM. We absolutely LOVE our Globetrotter. Looking forward to seeing all the adjustments / improvements you make in the coming episodes. 16242 - TX
Motohobo if you says so. I’m over my GVWR on my 2017 F250 with my travel trailer and just me in it. Load up the kids and wife and all their crap in the truck bed and I’m 750ish lbs over. 350 single wheel all the way. It’s only like $1000 more and no downsides. They ride the same
Motohobo i put airbags on it. Doesn’t change ur GVWR. I have a platinum like them so you only get like 2000-2200lbs of payload with that trim and the powerstroke. Mark is informed on all of this and that’s why it surprised me he went with a 250 especially being the 350 is barely any more cost wise.
A joyful experience to see your excitement for "Platinum Ginger" and for your priority to return to the roots & mission of what Keep Your Daydream is all about! We are really excited for you! Cheers to your new home on wheels! Stay safe & healthy dear friends! :-)
Hooray, welcome to the club. Check out the Wally Byam club, your local Airstream club, and Airstream addicts. Things we learned: 1) S.O.B = some other brand, That is something other than an Airstream 2) you must name your trailer. Hope to see you on the road. WCCBI #21902 the Petersen’s and our Shiney Hiney😁 Enjoy your 9’9 height clearance & no slides is the best!
You look great in an Airstream...Flying Cloud. It's a unique layout being a front bed without the door in the rear. Perfect for Caleb too! They tow great, and people still wave at other Airstreams. New or old they all have 'style'. Can't wait to see more.
I've been hooked on your channel for over 2 years and with all the country is going through right now it's a bright spot. Hopefully my husband and I can travel by your example someday soon. Congratulations on the new Airstream.
Great video. Found your channel while I've been searching for trailer as we are thinking about purchasing first RV or Trailer. By the way, I agree with you on Rosewell. haha. I had 14 hour detour on my vacation just to see Rosewell (after seeing TV series Rosewell in 1999. That show was nice). They have little museum there. haha
Sandra Westley from the UK , we absolutely prefer a trailer, so you are free to go about without dragging the RV with all your clobber, that said parking here is very very limited for R V and most places have height barriers, most RV over here have to travel by bus because it’s impossible on our tiny roads to take RV s everywhere. We are to old to keep waiting for buses that only run every hour, and we also can get lots of rain.
Welcome to the Airstream family. I am fairly new to RVing, but my 2008 Airstream Classic is pretty highly modified. The greatest mod by far is the Truma on-demand water heater with the antifreeze feature. It turns water heating into a real propane miser and provides endless hot water in under a minute. It also saves weight as it only holds about a quart of water. Enjoy your Airstream!
LOVE that you're loving the Airstream (definitely still loving mine) - And thanks for the shout-out to healthcare workers (ER Nurse) on the frontlines - All of the kindness, generosity, words, and simply keeping us in your thoughts are greatly encouraging and appreciated!! - Please know we keep all of you (in whatever role or walk of life you may be) in our thoughts as well. Be safe and well and enjoy the beauty in where you are.
i thought the same thing about the Payload. i figured the diesel doesnt want to low of gearing to keep the RPMs down, but i thought the payload would be much higher.
I have the same truck, if you go up to a dully the payload goes up quite a bit. The diesel truck is around 700 pounds heavier than the gas motor so the gas one has more payload.

I kid you not, your youngest needs his own channel or tv show. His side comments and facial expressions absolutely kill me !!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He had a channel for a bit. I agree.
Airstream- it's about time you got HOME! This one you guys will enjoy more than any of the others.
Front line guy here. Enjoying your content to distract me from the job. Stay safe! Consuming all of your knowledge for when I retire as an LEO and finally buy a truck and RV.
So excited that you guys got an Airstream! We love our 2017 25’ RB Airstream FC!
So excited that you got the Airstream!
We have the same model and we can't wait to see what you guys do with the upgrades!
Was Jonesing for this episode. Sunday just isn't right without a visit. Beautiful trailer. Quite a step up from the teardrop. Hopefully this year will be easier on the whole family.
It was nice to see life before. When everything was still normal, especially now that nothing is normal... Thank you for sharing
Congrats on Platinum Ginger! When we come out of this pandemic, we’ll be ready for your travels. Stay safe ❤️
I love this decision and the Airstream! Like you said camping isn't about the rigs it's all about family and great memories. Stay safe and God bless.
Another Great Episode, I'm so excited for the New Rig and New Season of KYD!!
I was pretty sure you were getting an Airstream after the several mentions the "the financial math of a motorized RV is not penciling out". I'm totally with you in that regard. A towable RV brings so much more freedom to explore! Hence the reason I just bought one about 2 weeks ago.
Why would you use a truck to tow motorized RV? I've never heard of that. I would prefer to use my pickup to tow a travel trailer.
(Or maybe I'm just want something I don't have..lol)
Thanks
You will love this iconic trailer.
we're on lock down here in Minnesota, and i have been spending that time getting my Jay Flight ready for going full time! 2 months left!
Lol
Congratulation on your new rig
Been waiting to see this REAVEAL!!!! WHOLE FAMILY IS WATCHING ❤❤❤ LOVE THE AIRSTREAM
The Airstream is beautiful, ut I would never have a bumper pull after owning a fifth wheel!
So much wasted space in a fifth wheel. Love our 40 ft travel trailer. Family of 7
Chris Ludwig Do you live in New York ?
I’m with Chris! We are a family of 6 with a 35ft bunk house travel trailer. We’ve toured a ton of fifth wheels and most don’t have as much usable storage inside as we have. Fifth wheels will run you 5-10k more minimum, are taller, and you loose your truck bed storage. Its also a pain to install your hitch unless you leave it in your truck. We’ve been in our rig almost 2 years full time.
@@bobbyrosado1835 Chicago
@@heathermilford9667 well said lol I'm not as good with details.
Thanks Guys for the great content. I work for a fire department and took someone to the hospital who was positive for COVID so now im quarantined at home for the next several days. Going to give it a couple days and get my camper out of storage and ride this out doing what I enjoy more than my job.
That really is a nice Airstream. Congratulations on your new set-up.
Thank you!
Fantastic Congratulations safe travels Airstream is the bomb.
AZ isn't that much better. Still super expensive tax & license out here.
I've been a platinum ginger since I was 45. LOL
The “Platinum Ginger” - LOL, us gingers usually turn platinum with age.
Yea for Trish she has a bathroom and a kitchen inside now. Charlie likes it too. Be safe to all
Love the name! Platinum Ginger!
Just started watching y'all and her dad has to be one of my most favorite people ever. He just seems so genuine. Enjoying the channel so fa! Getting my first RV tomorrow. Hope to see y'all on the road!
Yes, Jeff is great and we enjoy visiting.
You should get in contact with Long Long Honeymoon and hookup with the guy that just did the solar and lithium battery install on their Airstream.
Congrats guys! Love the airstream!!!❤️❤️
Caleb's LED lights address a awesome ideal for his room. I really like the colors on the inside and the Airstream looks fantastic! Ya'll stay safe and God bless ya'll!
YAAAASSSSSSSS AIRSTREAM!!!!
Airstreams is probably going to give you the absolute best ROI out of any RV you could have purchased. They have an unbelievable resale value even when they are 20+ years old. Loved the video. Can’t wait for your adventures to begin in the new rig.
11:47 Telling Caleb how to use the messaging seats!😂
Yay! The real KYDers are back! Love your new rig. It's beautiful! Stay safe and healthy.
Slow down. I still haven't recovered from the loss of the F-450.
What happened to the 450?
@@lexustech48 They got rid of it, with the 5th wheel.
Caleb: "I was taking a shower and the door slammed open."
Zack: "Oh, I forgot to tell you.....the trailer's haunted."
Haunted by Joe! Caleb makes another comment around that time mark that most people won't get so I let it stay. I trust you'll find it.
@@KeepYourDaydream sadly caught it on the first time he simply took a shower.
I like how Caleb claimed the lower bunk first with all his belongings before Carson could?
You guys are my escape at work! I watch you during my breaks at the hospital. Thank you!!
Working in EMS on the front lines so thank you. I'd rather be camping though.
👏👏👏👏
Our thanks to you Keith!
Thanks for all you are doing!!!
Thank you guys, much appreciated. I'm at work now, Montgomery and Berks County, Pa for the next 48 hours. Keeping gloved and masked up so I can go home to family on Wednesday.
We never finished the puzzle! 🤣
Hello
So cool I had a feeling you’d go with airstream
KYD - CONGRATS on your AIRSTREAM. We absolutely LOVE our Globetrotter. Looking forward to seeing all the adjustments / improvements you make in the coming episodes.
16242 - TX
I feel like I made a huge mistake buying an F250 vs a single wheel 350. I also have a platinum and the payload is weak as hell.
I have a 15 ram 3500 srw and my payload is 4100, but I'm pulling a 5th wheel toyhauler. For a travel trailer a 250 will be fine
They ride the same
@@kurtomac wow that's crazy, I would think about putting some air bags on it and I think it would be fine.
Already joined Airstream Addicts. We learned about Wally Byam Club in AK as they were on our same route. We may consider it. Thx!
Caleb will be hitting his head on the short ceiling soon........and there other son will have same issue...tall kids...lol
You look great in an Airstream...Flying Cloud. It's a unique layout being a front bed without the door in the rear. Perfect for Caleb too! They tow great, and people still wave at other Airstreams. New or old they all have 'style'. Can't wait to see more.
Who doesn't love a CAT scale?
Trish, "how about we just go to my dad's?" 😂
I absolutely love the ‘all about the rig’ videos and your family experience with the rig - that’s why I watch.
I heard you get 10 free iPhones with each Airstream purchase! Mahk you rohk!
Only the new milk tanks.
You will arrive at 5:42 AM. “What”
I lol'd at that.
Hmmmmm. 3.55’s and only 2200lbs payload....?? Kinda threw me there.
i thought the same thing about the Payload. i figured the diesel doesnt want to low of gearing to keep the RPMs down, but i thought the payload would be much higher.
I have the same truck, if you go up to a dully the payload goes up quite a bit. The diesel truck is around 700 pounds heavier than the gas motor so the gas one has more payload.
No bias here cause I work for that railroad...but a shot with the airstream, and the mountain sunset with the train would be spectacular.
I'm sorry but I just don't like airstreams.
