We were full-time for almost 6y. Had medical issues that forced us to reevaluate and settled down near the grandkids. Got jobs, put our trailer in storage, and now travel vicariously through you! Thanks!!
Marc, you are the best RUclips videographer out there. Ski footage in this episode was amazing. Nice to hear Tori’s perspective on RVing. Trish you are the best!
Breathtaking scenery, and the skiing was absolutely amazing, but I’m with Trish - the older I get the less I enjoy the bitter cold temps. Give me palm trees, sunshine and the beach and I’m a happy girl. So glad you had a great fun and Tori was able to get some free time to join you because that’s what it’s all about.
Trish made the drive up the mountain effortless, considering all the semis were putting chains on. Absolutely gorgeous winter scenery, amazing ski footage Marc! ...and with one pole! WOW. Great start to 2023, keep up the great work and thanks for bringing us along with!
Absolutely loved your day at Vail! This was amazing. I ski over 50 days a year but hardly ever get 50K' in vert in one day and I live in Leadville! Also, really enjoyed "meeting your daughter"; we started watching you guys after she went to college I guess. Thanks also for keeping it real on the winter driving and camping. Most folks would pass on that but you made it look very doable. We've stayed at Tiger Run in the fall but now maybe we will give it a go in the winter. Moreover, the interview with the owner of Harvest Hosts on the gondola ride was very insightful. Getting a business from 600 or so to over 4000 locations since he came on board, and also adding to a charity by doing laps at Vail on a powder day was incredibly impressive for all three of you! Mark, you must take a lot of time to work out as we usually mostly see a lot of driving and camping out of you! Your bike ride with your son will be a lifelong positive memory of you too. He will tell that story to someone 50 years from now and will still be incredibly proud of his dad. Thanks! Rocky
Great. Video , loved the scenery and one pole skiing while filming , that’s impressive . You’ve done right raising your kids folks , especially when Tori mentioned about her yrs visiting countries in the different rv’s you’ve had while she was growing up and how she misses that lifestyle compared to college ☺️
Trish does all us gal RVer's, proud. A few years back I had Class C motorhome, drove it for the first time over Vail pass in a snowstorm on my way to Moab. I had to stop on the other side to get my heart rate back down. Good times!
Hi Tori ! Beautiful girl! So nice to see you again. We love Tiger Run Resort…we stayed there after your winter camping trip (during summer! ). So pretty. What a wonderful family. ❤Never saw an Airstream with wings before! 😅.
Great vid! Thanks! Yup! The older we get the less we want to be in snow and cold. It’s okay for short periods to see and enjoy but after a few days that’s enough. Makes sense that you moved your home base to Florida.
So good to see you back , Lord. You would have thought you took a year 😆 So good to see Torry back she is all you mom , beautiful ! Safe Travels, guys ❤️
I pray my relationship with my daughter is as close as Tricia and Tori's, what an awesome feeling that must be to hear those words from an adult child! Marc that ski footage was so epic, thanks for taking us along. As someone who is never around snow, that winter footage was beautiful!
We took this route out of the Denver area this last summer down to Benson, AZ and Glenwood Canyon is still the most beautiful canyon I know of. Hwy 191 down from Moab is truly a wondrous drive.
The route that you took is just beautiful! We took it to get to Fort Collins a few years ago but it was in May. That looked like some pretty scary weather to be driving there. Great job , Trish. Oh and we were just in a car! I cant imagine towing a RV through that!!
I loved watching this video since I live and ski in Vail. How did Trish keep so calm pulling an RV over Vail Pass in all that snow? Do you have snow tires on your truck and Airstream? You caught such a great day to ski Vail. I loved identifying the runs and lifts you were on. I wish I had ridden a chair with you! Good job on your challenge and Marc's first day skiing! You all are awesome.
Great stuff. One little tip for the Anderson blocks to avoid that lurch forward when you unhitch. Always put the block on the downhill side (whether it means backing or pulling up onto it) and then put the smaller piece that holds it in place on the uphill side. That way gravity is working with you and it does not move nearly as much when you lift the trailer hitch off the ball. Winter camping can be fun without a doubt, but I have to agree with Trish.... Florida seems to be calling slightly louder at this time of year. As always, safe travels.
Great video and awesome challenge. As I am sitting her watching you 3, my legs are burning so much. I am so impressed you all were able to finish strong. Thank you for the interview with Harvest Hosts. We sold our house and have been living in our RV for the last 3 months. Can't wait to be able to hit the road and take advantage of Harvest Host locations to meet people and the businesses who allow us to visit them
About 7 years ago I took a ski trip to Copper and Vail with my son and his friends after not skiing the Rockies since 1990. I quickly found out I was no longer in shape to make the big runs anymore. My heart was racing because of the high altitude. Two runs in the Vail back bowls and I was retiring from skiing. I’m sure you had a great time on the slopes. Missed not seeing you guys at the Tampa show we were definitely warm there.
wow Mark, i'm so impressed that you could ski and hold the camera at the same time. excellent balance! i too belong to HH, but have yet to stay at one. they are not plentiful here in Canada, unfortunately. loved your trip. Tory is really looking like her mom now but with your red hair. Nice to see her. Wishing her well in her final studies. On to your next video!
Now this is the way to play in the snow by letting somebody do it. Growing up in Michigan made me hate the snow and cold weather even though the snow is beautiful to look at and photograph. Thanks for sharing your winter journey.
Another breathtaking video with lots of terrific content! 👏 👍 We've winter camped both with full hookups and dry. It was all work-related, not for pleasure but it sure was challenging, especially when it went below zero. Throw a diesel into the mix and you add a whole new dimension (lighter weight oils, anti-gel fuel additives, engine block heaters)! As always, great work y'all, especially with the Harvest Host fundraising effort - lots of fun for a worthy cause. Nice! Safe travels, Bob and Dottie
Great video, winter camping is no joke. We just spent a couple mths in Bend Oregon area w/ a good deal of snow. Maintaining everything is a challenge at first due to comfort w/ the environment. But then you learn as you go or the experience of others. Thanks for the great videos!!! Don’t think anybody does the story better! Have a great 2023!!!
Spent a month in Breckenridge last winter at Tiger Run. So cold!! However, never spent a cold night in my AS Basecamp 20X. Two issues. First was pipes to sink freezing, which I corrected with insulation and, second, the tank ejection pipes which froze. Corrected that with LP tank mounted heater that I used just prior to dumping. Built hood to contain heat with Reflectix. Not strong but did the job. Used heated water hose and added insulation on both ends where it attached to source and to trailer. Finally, used AirSkirts for skirting which helped tremendously.
Loved the bit with Victoria. You two have wonderful children. ❤️ Very cold camping. AZ in winter is too cozy to venture out to the winter wonderland but we loved the episode.
I love how you show the good, the bad, and the ugly. Trish - you are an amazing driver. You've exceeded my wildest dreams! Here's my question - does the Airstream stay warm at night? Is the furnace robust enough for those temps?
As ALWAYS, great video: entertaining, educational, fun, gorgeous scenery, family, friends....and can I admit that finding out Victoria loves to crochet was the cherry on the icing on the cupcake. As an avid knitter and crocheter (and spinner, sewer, and beader, but those aren't as portable), I was always curious if any of you picked up doing those sorts of activities because I can't imagine going RVing without a hobby to occupy my hands while being a passenger on a long drive, or sitting around with friends (my camping friends all knit and crochet too!) at happy hour, or on rainy days. Go Tori! An added bonus is seeking out alpaca farms via Harvest Hosts, yarn shops in new cities/towns, and acquiring "souvenir yarn" to add to the memories!
I gotta say... your video of the skiing was amazing! Great job, that couldn't have been easy! I used to ski a lot since I grew up here in Colorado. I forgot how fun it is!! Thanks for the reminder. I can't say I miss those cold, windy rides on the ski lift to the top though!!
Wow I’m impressed on the ski day at Vail! Could Mark walk the next day? Trish nice job driving Vail pass! Not for the faint of heart on days like that.❤
One of the things I liked about this video was that you could all do your own thing yet still be together. if that makes sense. I'm finding that as my kids get older and enter the college phase their interests are different than when we used to go camping. They still enjoy camping but life's interests has changed some. It's been a while since I've watched. So glad this popped up in my feed/notifications. cheers! Jason
Great video and good to see you guys back. Living in the far north, winter camping doesn’t have much appeal to us…chasing 70 is more like it. Also, those snow and ice “wings “ on the trailer or the vehicle wheel wells are called “snow boogers “in this snow country! Be of good cheer and stay safe❤️
Really a super episode! We’ve done some serious winter camping. It’s certainly challenging, but also exciting and rewarding. Great news about Harvest Hosts expansion! Congratulations on the ski challenge, and the funds you guys raised. Go For It
I love your advice about food, I always pack like we’re going on a sailing trip and we bring back so much food 😂 I’m going to take your advice the next time we go on a camping trip. Three or four days is plenty and we always eat out at least once or twice while we are exploring new places..
Loved the questions with Tori. You have obviously raised a smart, beautiful woman. Nice Winter camping tips and a great charity ski challenge fund raiser. Your guys are busy. Safe travels.
Thanks for another great video. I hope Florida has decided to be a little warmer when you get here. We have been here since the end of October and it didn’t seem like the Sunshine state 🤣😂. Safe travels!! 😊❤️
Marc, you and Trish are awesome, thank you for sharing your adventures all these years. However, Kaleb is almost grown and knows how much you two give in your travels. Victoria and Carson seem to be great on their own! So I think Marc, you and Trish can look towards taking a break on your own soon, and continue a parents adventure!
I have lived in Colorado my whole life. That drive is my most favorite. We do a lot of boondocking on Shrine Pass which is at the top of Vail Pass. Obviously not open in the winter, just for snowmobiling. Enjoy you guys. Keep on trucking.
My sister lives in a development across from a small ski resort in PA. She has never really skied. I have at least tried one time. Couldn't even snowplow. Legs were jelly with only 1 run. However, I truly enjoyed watching this well made video. As for all that white stuff...lived in PA for over 50 years and I'm perfectly happy to see snow on video only. Last time it snowed here was Jan 3, 2018...that's how often it snows in SE GA!!!! Come visit the Golden Isles.
So miles and I started last year after we have been watching you guys! We started small and now! The big news is last month we upgraded our rig and bought a new truck ! We have 9 trips planned this year including Canada! We can’t wait you keep us energized!
So great to see sweet Tori ! And the interview with Joel, because we just suggested our Georgia based church join Boondockers. My hubby drinks tonic water to help with muscle cramps & it helps tremendously. Awesome editing & here's to "crocs & socks" (and finally get to see the tip on the mats for leveling...thank you ! ) Wanda & Vinnie
if you are in pretty good shape, Hightop Mountain hike is a great hike. We recommend starting at Smith Roach Gap and Hiking up the AT to the top. Great Views. An easier hike with great views is Hawksbill Mountain. We usually access form the lower parking area. But there are dozens of great Hikes in Shenandoah NP Have fun
Winter camping in a tent was one of my childhood dreams. We started doing this about five years ago and graduated to a little camper but dry camp as temps up in Canada get too cold to safely run the water systems. Great content, keep it up.
Wow, this is one for your “Greatest Hits” line up. Had a lot going for it. Beautiful scenery and a challenging journey. Would love to see tips on snow towing. Would love to take our rig snowboarding but the only advice I really find is “don’t”. I’m comfortable driving in sierra snow, but never with a trailer . How does the trailer behave? Plus got to see how Tori is doing and what a great impact your journeys have had on her life. Finally, thanks for introducing such a great cause! Looking into how I can contribute immediately!
I’ve driven in Blizzard conditions pulling a 30’ trailer w/my Mini Van. It’s not easy but it’s like any other activity. If you’re up for the challenge and enjoy testing yourself it will be fun in the end. Worst ever was a 16” snowfall that we drove in as it was falling. It was along the shore of Lake Superior in late November of ‘06. We drove from L’Anse (at the base of the Keweenaw Peninsula) down to the straits. Finally ran out of the Blizzard at Munising!! It’s one of my fondest memories!!
Yeees, i'm not the only one! :-D Crocs & socks baby, crocs & socks.. :-D Greetings from, still, snowy Poland. Your videos are great, good job and keep up the success. :-)
Dang, the fastest 40 minutes EVER!! So enjoyable, BUT, umm yeah I think I will stay here in sunny, not so warm(but NOT snowing!!) Florida! 🤪 So looking forward to seeing more of your winter follies, and huge congrats on reaching those lofty numbers in the skiing!! Y'all be safe and hurry down/over to Florida!
There is nothing better than the validation from your children that you did a good job.
We were full-time for almost 6y. Had medical issues that forced us to reevaluate and settled down near the grandkids. Got jobs, put our trailer in storage, and now travel vicariously through you! Thanks!!
Sooo sorry for the health issues. Hope you can get back out there on the road w/Grands!! They will do treasure those memories!!
Awe... Having Tory back made me cry a little. So glad she got to come along on this trip.
It’s no mistake that you’ve raised 3 “absolutely amazing” people. Be proud of what you’ve done!
Marc, you are the best RUclips videographer out there. Ski footage in this episode was amazing. Nice to hear Tori’s perspective on RVing. Trish you are the best!

So good to see and hear from Tori! You're very blessed to have such a well-rounded and well-grounded daughter. Thanks for sharing Tori!
Thank you Tori for your thoughts on home schooling. As a homeschooling mom I sooo appreciate your words. Love you guys

I Love driving through Glenwood Canyon! It is one of my favorite drives in the Country! =)
Great. Video , loved the scenery and one pole skiing while filming , that’s impressive . So good to see you back , Lord. You would have thought you took a year 😆 So good to see Torry back she is all you mom , beautiful ! Safe Travels, guys ❤️
Ahhhh, miss seeing Tori. So happy to see she is doing so well.
Yay! Tori is back!!!! OK back to the show. 😊
I pray my relationship with my daughter is as close as Tricia and Tori's, what an awesome feeling that must be to hear those words from an adult child! Marc that ski footage was so epic, thanks for taking us along. As someone who is never around snow, that winter footage was beautiful!
Great episode KYD! As a mom with an almost 22 year old I know how special this time with Tori is!
We took this route out of the Denver area this last summer down to Benson, AZ and Glenwood Canyon is still the most beautiful canyon I know of. Hwy 191 down from Moab is truly a wondrous drive.
Great job getting footage while skiing.
I never get tired of the scenery snow creates; so beautiful; great video!😊

Yay the pet names are back...as is the best quality Sunday evening entertainment on RUclips!
USB port is busted and Bluetooth doesn’t display the same. Need to get that fixed!
Fantastic video! Missed you guys last week. So good to see Tori. Thanks for once again letting us tag along with you. Safe travels!

Looks like y’all had so much fun. What other RV campgrounds are near ski areas and are open in the winter?
Ski shots are amazing! SO much fun to watch!! Beautiful scenery as well...great fun!
Snow angel 👀 good one 👍
Trish at the cabin... stop asking me questions and load the Subaru. Lol 🤣

I am sooooo jealous of Duncan and the adventures he could have if he plays Bridge and has good transportation to Dummy.

The snow crocs were the best part! Looks like y'all had a ton of fun. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Your videos are spectacular! Your hard work putting it all together shines through these videos and I appreciate it. Thank you!
Such a satisfying video guys!! Well done!!
Glad you're back on the road. Always motivated after watching.

Looking forward to winter camping when we start our retirement rving in about a year. Congratulations on the $ raised - nicely done guys!
Trish you drove through that blizzard like a boss. I’m from NC so we don’t see snow like that often at all. I’d have been puckered the entire time 😂😂
I gotta say... your video of the skiing was amazing! Great job, that couldn't have been easy! I used to ski a lot since I grew up here in Colorado. I forgot how fun it is!! Thanks for the reminder. I can't say I miss those cold, windy rides on the ski lift to the top though!!
Great video. Once again incredibly inspiring.
Wow I’m impressed on the ski day at Vail! Could Mark walk the next day?
Trish nice job driving Vail pass! Not for the faint of heart on days like that.❤
My left knee is still regretting this episode!
@@KeepYourDaydream you did awesome! One pole on those runs! Epic.
Great video! It was great seeing Tori, I’m happy y’all spent time together! See ya next Sunday ❤
You guys are so inspirational.
Every time I watch one of your videos it puts a smile on my face.
I can’t wait to see the 2023 adventures ❤

Thanks for sharing .that was some camera commitment from Mark and on skis.🇳🇿👍👏👏New Zealand
A road with a view, and wow what view it is. Great video as always. Thank you 👍❤
That was very impressive! Marc loves a challenge. And it was so good to see Tori.
I get it! We had our fix and now the love is gone! Show me the sun :)
Really a super episode!
We’ve done some serious winter camping.
It’s certainly challenging, but also exciting and rewarding.
Great news about Harvest Hosts expansion!
Congratulations on the ski challenge, and the funds you guys raised.
Go For It
You guys Add Joy to our Lives! Thanks
Love seeing winter camping and what added fun it brings along! Love yall 3000!
Tiger Run is an incredible campground. Love it there.
Booyah 👊🏽 😁 👍🏽 🇺🇸
Thanks for another great video. I hope Florida has decided to be a little warmer when you get here. We have been here since the end of October and it didn’t seem like the Sunshine state 🤣😂. Safe travels!! 😊❤️
Marc, you and Trish are awesome, thank you for sharing your adventures all these years. However, Kaleb is almost grown and knows how much you two give in your travels. Victoria and Carson seem to be great on their own! So I think Marc, you and Trish can look towards taking a break on your own soon, and continue a parents adventure!
Yes, new adventures to come! Keeping our daydream for sure :)
What a great episode, and great donation. It was also great to see Tori and hear her thoughts.
I have lived in Colorado my whole life. That drive is my most favorite. We do a lot of boondocking on Shrine Pass which is at the top of Vail Pass. Obviously not open in the winter, just for snowmobiling. Enjoy you guys. Keep on trucking.
Great episode. So good to see & hear from Tori. And loved Marc’s joke about Magnesium. Lol. 😂
So fun seeing Tori again.
Congrats! That's is start small and optimize later.
Amazing. Thank you for giving to others. Blessings
if you are in pretty good shape, Hightop Mountain hike is a great hike. We recommend starting at Smith Roach Gap and Hiking up the AT to the top. Great Views. An easier hike with great views is Hawksbill Mountain. We usually access form the lower parking area. But there are dozens of great Hikes in Shenandoah NP Have fun
Wow wow wow!! Beautiful scenery! It was nice to see your daughter again.
Awesome episode! Loved seeing Tory!
I love our Anderson blocks!
Awesome video and it was great seeing Tori along on this trip.
Winter camping in a tent was one of my childhood dreams. We started doing this about five years ago and graduated to a little camper but dry camp as temps up in Canada get too cold to safely run the water systems. Great content, keep it up.
Makes for a better memory ;)

Oh my fabulous!! Thank you guys for this video!! Love it!!! Your daughter is as precious as ever, much Love
Skiing!!!!! Between the cycling and skiing, you're doing what I grew up doing in the PNW! Loved it!
New propane best deal is ace hardware rental equipment and rv country. Tractor supply is a good amount more.
Yeees, i'm not the only one! :-D
Crocs & socks baby, crocs & socks.. :-D
Greetings from, still, snowy Poland. Your videos are great, good job and keep up the success. :-)
You guys are awesome!!
What a COOL episode!!! Thanks Guys!
Hi Guys! Glad to have you back!
I can’t believe that Mark didn’t blow his train horn at least once through the tunnels. Great job guys!
I’m embarrassed. When you’re right, you’re right!
It’s Winter time!! Might cause an Avalanche!! Good to keep train horns for warmer weather!!
Omg the magnesium joke was hilarious. I would have been with the girls!❤️❤️
Great video! I enjoyed seeing my old stomping grounds in Colorado. Lived in Loveland but ventured all over.
