Have you tried it in rough storms or rainy situations yet?

Hi! I've not used it in rain. Not sure I'd trust it in a heavy downpour. Light rain, maybe. But it's not seam-sealed out of the box, so if using in any rain at all, you'd want to apply some seam-sealant first. Something like Gear Aid's "Seam Grip" should work. Hope this helps.

Looks like you've just started sharing some outdoor adventures of your own. I just subbed. Digging the game music soundtrack to that latest vid! :)

Nice objective video Tif. Personally, I can’t understand the benefits of this tent. Just seems like an awning for a tail gate/hatchback. Way too small for me and my doggo. I’ll keep my Napier 84000. Your Napier video helped me to decide to buy the Napier. I do believe that Joytitus makes a larger SUV tent but I might be wrong. I did so much research before I put out the money for the Napier that I may not have my facts straight. The 84000 now has an option to buy the sun/screen room foot print. Fits amazingly well.

Thanks, Tami. I'm glad my Napier video helped you out and that it's working well for you and your dog. I think this particular style of car tent might work well for those without dogs, or maybe with a small dog. Or maybe even someone who has a van with a back hatch--who doesn't really need extra "living space" but just an additional way to increase airflow inside. I was interested just because I often drive to trailheads and arrive in the late afternoon or evening before a hike/climb and sleep in my car in the parking lot, where I can't put up the Napier. I'd thought that maybe something simpler like this would be nice just to allow increased ventilation in the car overnight and a nice place to sit outside of the car under some sun/rain protection. When I do my long-distance backpacking trips, I often park in one trailhead parking lot (the end of my hike) and have a shuttler come and pick up the dogs and myself to drive us to the starting trailhead, and sometimes the dogs and I are waiting in the parking lot for a few hours for the shuttler to arrive. Having a quick and easy way to really increase the airflow throughout the car while we wait would be nice. All of that said, I'll likely not keep this one. I'm already planning to do a giveaway here on the channel to allow someone who could really get some use out of it to have it, as my current setup with the top cargo box and the hitch-mounted cargo box doesn't allow it to have the fit it's supposed to have.

@@tamirew9247 No worries! I just thought maybe you were trying to help my channel out by leaving 16 comments. 🤣 Seriously, though, I use cellular hotspot at home and sometimes if the signal isn't strong the same thing happens to me.
