Thank ya! I really appreciate it! Just battling that RUclips algorithm haha. Its harder as a small up and coming channel. It really helps if you can share the channel and vids with people you know!
I've got the Napier Back roads, Camo truck tent. 2500 w inverte, r.Queen-size air bed, that fits between the Wheels wells 0 degree queen-size sleeping bag. Coleman camp stove, 12 ft 12 volt extension cord, to run the air pump for the air bed. Now I just need to go camping!!!! Summer is Coming.
I purchased the 4 x 8 truck bed model. I put it in my same size trailer and presto.....got me a camper. Was camping last night in a horrible rain thunderstorm. With only the factory fly I survived the storm with no water inside. What a great piece of equipment. I have a portable fan running all night too. Cheers.
Pro tip.....set the entire tent up on the ground, then lift it into the bed. The long front pole is SOOOO much easier to install and it's super easy to lift into the bed
I have the NAPIER truck tent and found it easier to set up if you put the tent in the truck and loosely attach the straps to the truck then put the poles in. Anyway, that works for me. New subscriber.
I agree. I have a Napier tent. We also run the poles through the tent all at once then start erecting it. The Napier said to set it up on the ground first but it was a pain to lift up so I found another RUclipsr who showed the way I describe. I like the awning yours has.
I just spent about 1 1/2 weeks camping in my Napier in Maine, in quite a few rain storms. There was a lot of condensation, but it was from being buttoned against the storms. The rainfly kept water at bay, but I see this more as a winter tent
This is a good video. I'm looking into a truck tent, and this is very helpful. I haven't made my decision as yet, but videos of this type help a great deal. New subscriber. 👍👍👍
Thanks for trying out Offroading Gear's Truck Bed Tent! We really love your honest review. No worries, we'll consider your suggestion on our sun shade awning. 😄
Great set up with lots of great products for use with the Tacoma. Just a thought, not sure if someone commented already, or you’ve figured it out, but for the cord for pumping up the air mattress you could open up the back slider window in the middle and put the cord through there to shorten the distance. Did you figure out why there was so much excess with the tent in the bed of the truck? I’m looking at getting one for my truck (Tacoma), so I’m finding all of this that you’ve shared has been helpful, thanks!!
it was just a little awkward going through the back glass after having everything setup. I've been meaning to get this tent back out for another over nighter just been doing a lot of bushcraft camping and backpack camping. The excess material was due to the fact this tent is made to accommodate a slightly larger bed size but it fits the Tacoma just fine.
I have a 2021 Tacoma 6'1" bed how do I specify it for a Tacoma offroad gear only offers 5.5 or 6.5 but it doesn't specify Tacoma and I can't find a contact number for them
I think I got the 5 5 version and it works fine. The 5 5 would definitely work for your truck but I do have their contact number +1 (360)-215-3930 Tell em ProCaliber HQ sent ya haha
If I could make a humble recommendation. I would consider wooden utensils so that you're not scratching the s*** out of your nonstick pans. You don't want that in your food and you don't want to replace the pan
Thanks very much...glad to see I'm not the only one who struggles with putting up a tent:).
Yeah this tent is meant for a slightly larger truck bed
Glad I watched this no way I'm doing this every time . And this guy is doing a good job .
Glad it was helpful!
Not sure why this dude doesn’t have more subs, honestly one of my favorites camping channels so far

He's camping in his yard with a gun. That's probably why.
Looks fantastic. Love it.
Thanks so much!

Glad you're enjoying yours! and a fan is definitely a must this time of year.

Great setup my friend. Thanks for taking me along.
Glad you enjoyed it

Does your Napier tent leak, ours leaked after 1 hour of rain
@@gannas138 No, I've never had an issue with it.
Dude you have that hose that goes to your propane tank to close to your burner lol. You need to spin that tank around
Thank you for your love and support for camplux! Enjoy Outdoor Life!
My pleasure!
this set up is top tier

Thank you for making great gear! It is always good to know a company listens to its users to continually improve its products.
Since you have a back window that can be opened....use it, when you need the cord from the outlet to reach the back of your tent
I don't quite remember why but there was a reason why I couldn't do that
Awesome video!
Thanks for making high quality gear!

@@procaliberhq I was curious if it was on the bigger size for the truck bed. Once again, thanks for sharing.
That blue awning on the side, where can we purchase? Thanks
Its an off roading gear sun shade same brand as the tent
Hey man what’s the flat surface called that you have on your truck bed. Definitely want to buy a tent but need a flat surface
This one was on the truck already so I can't think of the brand name. But its a rubber truck bed mat.
I watch camping channels for the food.
Well got a multi Day trip dropping later this week with a good bit of cooking in it
The fill hole for the mattress. Should be at the tailgate end of the truck
My pump wouldn't reach
Something you should have thought about, I think for $39 you can get a 10 ft by 10 ft canopy at Walmart. .
Well definitely look into adding a canopy for this summer.
What kind of pants are you wearing?
I honestly don't know. They was some cheaper stretchy type pants that come from china haha. But they have held up well.
The front pole is supposed to be like that, so you can attach a link tent to it.
Thanks for the info I plan to get this tent back out soon.
Does your Tacoma have a 5 or 6 foot bed?
6 foot
Have the same issue with my truck tent. Tent pole actually cracked after time never figured out the issue LMK if you do.
Hopefully I will have it figured out by next time. But after thinking about it I have a DIY plan that might fix it.

Very good idea most all my stuff dosn't have a non stick coating so I just wasn't thinking
👍
Thank ya
Seems like someone gave you a gift card for REI.
Always adding to the gear collection haha
You don't touch the scenes of the tent. When it's raining, you open up the fibers.
😂
Thanks!
😁😁
Great video !!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
