There had been guys who recovered and came back but were shells of their former self. We also have to give credit to his doc who also became a superstar in the sports medicine world after that. His procedures are now the standard.

I really hope AP comes back strong, and has another 3-4 great seasons before he retires. He's ran for nearly 12,000 yards and scored over 100 TD's in essentially only 8 seasons. He's on a different level when healthy.
