The Glenfield model 60 is a fantastic rifle. I must have put 20,000 rounds, or more, thru mine back in the years when you could buy 550 rounds for less than $5. Sometimes i would run 5 or 6 of those boxes a week. The nylon buffer tends to be brittle and breaks often.
that's a nice old .22! I still bust out my old mans Browning .22lr every once in awhile. AKs seem to be my go to range toys these days. love the series bud!
I have Marlin model 60 just to-day I installed a picatinny rail and a bi pod. two months ago I did the same to my Marlin model 80 built in the early 1950s 75 yards you can cover 7 shots with a quarter. Now I cant Waite to get the 60 out to the range. btw I have a Ruger 10-22 the Marlins put it to shame
Nice! I have a Ruger 10-22 as well, but haven't shot it yet, it's an older model (C&R) hoping to make a video of it in the future! Definitely, the Model 60 is one of my favorite 22's! Thanks for watching!

I’m refinishing my squirrel stock right now as we speak
Not to shabby at all with open sights! As my eyes have gotten older, I need a scope for best results.
Still shoot muzzleloader with peep sights.
Thank you!!
