For such an advanced and widely used 3D Modeling program I find it baffling that this isn't a native feature.... Thanks for your help, I was going insane looking for this in the default program

I was pulling my hair out trying to get this to work. No joy in 3.2.2. but I was able to get it to work in 3.0. I was trying to evenly space some windows on a building and the distribute objects function was squeezing them together, but the distribute meshes worked the way I wanted. Maybe it's because these windows are simple objects but combined? I'm a Blender noob so maybe I'm missing something obvious.
Yeah, it's very weird. Seeing how much growth in updates year by year, one would think by now, it will be done already. But overall, we are just glad that at least addons exist.
On a Mac I installed this by going to User Folder (hit Alt while under the Go menu to show the Library folder) then go to Application Support / Blender / Version / Scripts / Add-Ons and I dropped it in there at that level. Then I restarted Blender and it appeared in the Add-Ons folder and in the control-click menu when you are selected on an Object - but yeah I missed your fix for that bug so if you're like me and skipped ahead go back and watch my man's video.. thanks - BTW, your audio is very low.

man you really need to check the levels on your mic or at least adjust them when you edit the video. It is waaaaay too low, can barely hear you, I mean your average loudness on this video is -23db, do you know how quiet that is?!
I would like to add Distribute Objects in Pie Menu Editor to one of my custom pies. It works (somehow) but i always first have to click Distribute Objects in N Menu first ("Needs at least two objects selected"..) and then i can use the operation through my custom pie. Do you know why or can this be changed to always work!?
I think the problem is still to do with the unofficial release for Oscurart Tools from 2.9x. Because this is a workaround solution, we will have to do with clicking the Distribute Objects in the N menu first. We can only hope there's an official release of the distribute objects in blender itself. But all the same I will look into it and see if I can find a solution and share with you.
Ohk, I think one way you can resolve it is by unzipping the addons and picking up the folder "oscurart tools", then you copy it to the scripts/addons folder to where you installed blender, normally within program files on your root drive. Then you will restart blender or reload scripts within blender. Once back in blender check again within the addons within preference and oscurart, should find it back. I think the problem is the zipped file has issues when installing it within blender thus you have to go the long way for it. Hope it helps.
Really nice endeavour you want to embark on. With AI now being a thing, it's a great start to aid you. I think the programming language to learn will be Python.
