We had a date night on the roof of the fanciest hotel in Singapore! (& made an interesting new friend there).

I just want to say, that my husband makes me coffee every morning as well. We have been married for 20 years. He doesn't drink coffee, but he is up before me every morning and there is always a cup of coffee waiting for me on my side table every morning. Cheers to wonderful husbands!
Watching back vlogs from Australia on Christmas eve 2023 & can't get over how strong Nate's accent is compared to recent vlogs. I don't travel but think you two are THE BEST RUclips channel ever!!!!
I like how you both are thrifty - that you think a 20 dollar entrance fee to the dome at gardens by the bay is expensive, an 8 dollar ice-tea is expensive - it's pretty true for the locals as well. Places like Marina Bay were built more for the tourists than locals thus the exorbitant prices.
A regular cup of ice-tea should cost no more than SGD 1.50. Haha, not that we are poor, it's just that we know when the prices are a little overboard.

As one of the many now having gone back to the beginning and viewing all, I've noticed that even in just the first few weeks the video quality, including audio, has improved noticeably. By the time you hit 2020, you are full-on pros. In the last two vids you have made great use of angles, entry shots, mirrors, etc. Very nice compared to so much of what's on RUclips.
Watching all your videos from the start as I was a latecomer so this is my 2020 travel plan! Love the local's laugh, it's the kind that makes you laugh with them every time! Hopefully soon we can all get back to meeting strangers that brighten our days.
You know it's probably a little too late but I would write down everything you eat &🍹everyday 💯
Like aeating journal and when your old you can look back on all the different types of food you ate! that way your memory doesn't slip* it's a good idea 🍱

Watching your old videos nowadays. Started watching you guys a couple of months ago. Also, want to add that the naan and the bbq were from a Pakistani restaurant. Pakistani food is similar to Indian except meatier. It has Iranian and Afghan influence as well.

The name of the place where you ate was PAK -KASHMIR so the food was pakistan and indain and pakistani food are almost same
The super trees in Singapore are a must see for me!! It's the main reason I want to travel to Singapore...and to run on that beautiful boardwalk along the water.

... I've never eaten Laksa at Makansutra Bay even though i've walk past there once... I mean it's pretty much a food trap... Crayfish laksa should only be tasted in a restaurant hotel known for it(though it's really pricy). Normal laksa sold anywhere else other than tourist food attractions should taste great at $3-5...

Guys I know you didn't have a chance, but going to the ACTUAL Supergrove tree lightshow on the ground is way better, they play Disney music while the trees change colors. It's pretty magical. Maybe next time

At 5:12, there's an Indian restaurant called "Komalas"behind you guys that sells the best Thosai ever in Singapore! To think that you guys was literally 5 seconds away!

Lucky here in Australia we are such a melting pot of cultures, so I guess I take advantage that Satay chicken, Thai, Indian and Asisan foods are a weekly consumption for most of us. These first Vlogs are great, I found your Christmas Markets vlogs and have decided to go from the beginning- you guys have an awesome channel:)

The way that they made the naan on the side of the pot was so interesting. I had no clue that that is how those are made. Was that just a space saving technique, or do they have to put it on the side so that it doesn't burn. Do any of you guys know'? Also that elevator was Crazy Fast!

How was your dinner at the restaurant Sky 57 restaurant? I had the pleasure to stay at the Marina Bay Sands for 2 nights but I didn't go to that restaurant, I went to Todai Seafood restaurant, it was awesome. Nice video.

makansutra is the worst place to get food in Singapore, many locals will avoid this place. I know because I am from Singapore. I am sad you guys didn't manage to taste good Laska. If you guys ever get the chance to return here again, there are only 2 places I will recommend, Katong Laska and 928 Yishun Laska.

How do you know if you can eat the ice? Do you ask? How do you access your money? The times I’ve gone out of the country, we used our Amex and travelers checks. You had to cash the checks at your hotel.
Hi ! You can, It's the main part of the dessert anyways, They're pretty much banks & ATMs all over the place you can just withdraw money with the exchange rate the bank provides.
There are so many other places , come by the next time and I will write you guys a list ! :)

I have made naan bread before and 8ts so easy and delicous! Al you need to do is get a recipe to make the dough and when you roll it up put parsley and garlic in it beacause it gives a really good flavor :D

How cool! They cook that Naan on the side of that tandoori oven. That's fascinating. I've never seen that before. Though I'm not a fan of Indian food (or spicy food), I LOVE bread, and that looks amazing. Yumm!

+john kennedy Very possible! Just take the elevator up and buy a drink! There's also a restaurant. On slow nights you don't even have to make a purchase. just go snap some photos at the overlook :)
