Am 72 yo ( not grandma yet) fan of yours. About a week ago, we ordered crab cakes in a restaurant, $5 each, (not bad) but not in my taste. I’ve decided to make my own. I followed your recipe step by step, including the aioli sauce. Wow 🤩 thank goodness, it turned out as the best crab cakes we’ve eaten.
Thank you and more power to you.

I made these today. I didn't add the panko until the end and the crab mixture was a little runny. But I remedied that by shaping them on wax paper and sprinkled some panko bread crumbs on top. It fried nice and crispy on both sides and went well with the lemon aioli sauce. Everything was a hit! Thank you! (That's what I get for fast forwarding through videos and skipping steps!)

Cooked these tonight. This is an excellent recipe and I agree they’re much better than any crab cake I’ve had in a restaurant. You knocked it out the park. Made a few changes. I added green onions to the sautéed veggies, and used a large onion just cause I love more onion. I didn’t use old bay, i just used about 3/4 a cap full of concentrated liquid crab boil. I skipped the worschesire sauce and added a little more panko crumbs over the 1/2 cup called for.
The aioli was the perfect compliment to the cakes. Excellent recipe!

I bought frozen crab cakes and they were expensive and awful. I've never tried making them myself because I thought it would be hard....but every Natasha recipe I've tried has turned out really good, so I gave this one a go. It was easy!
I had everything but the parsley and the Old Bay. I used Cajun seasoning and just skipped the parsley. I was having trouble keeping them together so I added a 3rd egg.
These are SO delicious !! This is a keeper 😁
    Thank you Natasha!

I tried this recipe and it turned our great. I did make a few changes though. I used a specific type of breading I like better than Panko. I also did not use the water when making patties. I used some seasoned flour. I put a generous amount on my cutting board and on my hands and that dried things out and firmed things up rather nicely. It also gave the cake a nice crust. Other than that I followed her directions and I think she’s right. the result was better than most restaurants. Also, the lemon aioli was perfect. I also made a remoulade sauce and encouraged my guests to try both.

This looks really good, and I use Italian bread crumbs and Italian parsley. I also use a pair of Aldi spice scissors (someone told me there is alot of good stuff in the stems) so chop slice 😉 I may use chopped Pablono peppers I had frozen, no red bell available

I made these years ago and forgot how to make them. We just had some store bought frozen crab cakes that my girlfriend didn't like and she doesn't care much for mayonnaise, but they're better when you make them yourself and you are so funny and charismatic! I will definitely try this recipe next time. Thank you!

Hi Natasha! Excellent video. I made this today using imitation crab/lobster meat. I added some Sriracha sauce to mine before combining everything. Next time I go to the Korean Market,
I'll try this with real crabmeat. Cheers! You're an inspiration to me and others!
