DESPITE living with just half a body - inspirational Rowdy Burton is determined to not let his condition define him. 30-year-old, Rowdy, was born with a rare lower spinal disorder called Sacral Agenesis. Affecting only one in 25,000 births, the condition resulted in Rowdy having both of his legs amputated when he was just three years old - with doctors using pins to stop his bones growing any further. Rowdy, who resides in Alabama, USA, was left to live his life with two stumps positioned directly beneath his waist and now that he is older, he prefers to use his hands and elbows to get around rather than a wheelchair. After all the hardship Rowdy has faced over the years, he is still determined to live his life to the full - playing tennis with his friends and riding his skateboard.

There is more to health than having some muscle strength lol Space takes a toll on the body... They are still testing how the human body reacts up there so astronauts are constantly getting blood work and vitals done while in space and the results are sent back here for results to be studied.
I can relate to your situation as I had a brother who was crippled as a result of encephalitis since two years old. He could walk, but always dragged his feet. And I never once heard him complain. He was two years younger than me and when he was little he would fall a lot...he couldn’t lift his legs even two inches off the floor, so he tripped a lot. One day when we were still quite young, I reached out for him to help him up and he said, “Leave me alone...I can get up by myself!!!” He had more friends than most people, and they sincerely loved him. He was one of those guys who would give you the shirt off of his back whether you needed it or not. He did most things in life that everyone else did. He went off a high dive before I got up the nerve to do it. He rode a motorcycle and drove cars. He was a mechanic by trade...just instinctively knew how to fix cars and never went to school to learn how. He passed in his early 50’s from lung cancer. I will always miss him!!!

It’s most likely due to high use of arms, so they developed in a way to work as legs.
So his arms essentially developed into legs... human adaptability at its finest
He has such a great attitude that most people don’t have because they take everything for granted. We don’t have to compromise so that makes us indifferent to things that are important to those that have had to compromise or find alternatives to succeed in life. These people learn how to make alternative life changes and to accept their limitations and work with it . I so respect people like this guy, he could teach the world so much.

@@MinecraftDude1245peni Well, he does more for himself and is more outgoing than a lot of people who have their entire body. He only has half a body and yet does so much on his own. He could have been prideful about his abilities and level of self-sufficiency, and yet he is really humble which is awesome.
Generally speaking, my experience is that when someone is seriously disabled, society at large tends to expect very, very little from them. This guy is just casually proving those expectations wrong. God bless him!

I can’t imagine how sick he is of hearing the strong arms comment. It’s so unoriginal. He did a workout video and he’s pretty average strength wise. I really thought he’d be able to do like 50 or so pull-ups but I think he only did like 25. For Someone weighing 70 lbs or so that isn’t that strong. But yeah, even “good” stereotypes I’m sure are annoying when you hear them over and over. Get an original thought
