After watching the video of a Nissan Patrol driving through the flooded streets of Dubai, I have no doubts this will be a reliable vehicle! There will always be fanboys saying the Toyota, Ford or Chevy is better but that video sold me on Nissan!
1:01 Front looks like a Ford Expedition. Interior is nice, really think that three tone brow on light brown on gray works. $58k-75k is really quite reasonable, given how expensive full size SUVs have gotten. Looking at you Stellantis!
To be fair to Stellantis they did drop the price of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Wagoneer trims got a 3k-5.7k reduction and grand wagoneer got 5.5K-7k reduction. And not to mention you’ll definitely get a discount at the dealer level so it’s priced more competitively than before.
I love how people are saying that Nissan will die. They WON’T, it’s just too big of a brand to crash and die, infinity on the other hand I think will. Nissan has always made super reliable and great budget option body on frame vehicles. The pro4x trim looks absolutely gorgeous, I saw a post on IG with it wearing the NISMO off-road wheels and it looks amazing especially in that green.
What a thing of beauty!!! They really thought it all out designing this! 😍 All the comments I'm seeing are all skeptical/negative lol you guys have no idea this model is effing "Legendary" internationally 😅 it's been around since WWII, when is that, the 1940s? Legendary off-road beast, turned legendary full-size luxury SUV...
I’m impressed with this new design and layout, time will tell though how it holds up with it being a new design. Nissan is on hard times due to bad management it would be nice to see the new design direction there going help them succeed and get back up to the top.
You may want to check your stats on the premium fuel. According to the other reviews I've seen premium fuel is not recommended . They say 87 octane will work just fine.
It will work just fine, no knocking, clunking, jerking, or check engine lights, sure. The TTV6 can handle it… BUT if you want to drive that twin turbo engine at its FULL potential, “premium fuel is recommended for maximum performance”.
They know many people don’t want to pay for premium and that’s why its rated at 425 HP VS the same engine in the Infiniti version being rated at 450 HP. Recommending premium exclusively turns away some customers. Ford plays this same game with the Ecoboost. It has adaptive octane logic so it’ll likely make the same 450 HP the Infiniti makes if it gets a steady diet of 93 octane.
Would have to see it “in person” but in the video the back seat padding looks like something from the Flintstones. I have always liked full size SUV’s even though I have not owned one since the mid 2000s. this one looks nice outside, like a combination ford/toyota/lexus. Driver cockpit looks good. I also have liked NIssan since the Datsun days. but I have not owned one for decades and surely wouldn’t buy one now.
Now all the other reviews on the new 2025 Armada said it runs on regular gas making the 425 hp you stated, if running it on premium wouldn’t that also boost HP ?
They don’t advertise it but I’m almost certain like many modern cars that the armada has adaptive octane logic. It’ll likely make the same HP as the Infiniti version if its fed premium fuel.
I like this car totally, but in the 2020s and the 21s, you can get them for little over 20s, so he might just wait this one out for the next three years.
Why do you say premium fuel is recommended but the dealers, and other reviewers say you can put regular gas that is recommended.. It's a beautiful SUV as I can say .. Hopefully they don't take 15 years to update it .. Also the V6 is a detuned Nissan GT-R engine ..
You can definitely run regular but it will perform better with premium and likely make the same 450 HP that the Infiniti version makes. They don’t advertise it but it has adaptive octane logic.
Looks like a proper super SUV from Nissan, with more than 400 hp for a family SUV. Awesome! ;) Here in Europe, Nissan is really weak, offering now just 4 models. :(
There are two things that I will never understand about designers and engineers, 1, they use that glossy piano black that gets dirty very easily, and 2. They want to reinvent the wheel, the turn signal not staying down, it bothers me a lot, it will be one more distraction for someone new to the vehicle.
Bruh 4:53 😂😂😂 also I know I said this before but since Nissan will be discontinuing the Titan at the end of this year more than likely here is what Nissan should bring back the juke, but a full size pick-up truck or make a full size pick-up truck and call it the Quest and bring back that old nameplate I'm just thinking of ideas
Nah just bring the Xterra back axe the Rogue for the US market keep the Murano and Pathfinder with the A/T keep the kicks with the CVT .. If they want to as well bring back the Quest with an A/T or the NV vans
@TinoMiller I doubt they'll discontinue the Rogue, that's their bestseller. They might decide to introduce a hybrid to the Rogue (they've not had a Rogue hybrid in a while), or bring back the Juke to replace the Kicks.
This is a SOLID product. Obviously the Americans offer more space inside, but this strikes right in the middle. It’s still got decent space inside yet has the premium feel and off-road chops of the true Land Cruiser. Of course GM will continue to reign supreme in this class, but I can see Nissan making a slight market share gain in this class.
GM has nothing to compete with any Land Cruiser or Patrol in this class. You’ve obviously never seen how low to the ground their independent suspension is. Not even the AT4.
This has the same space inside as the Infiniti QX80, but you never say that about the Infiniti QX80 that you are obsess with. You never called the QX80 decent when you compared it with the GM products...all you have done is defend, defend and defend the QX80. Interesting you are nuts over the QX80 which is basically the same vehicle as this Armada, but somewhat bias against the Armada. The bottom line, this Armada is a way better value than the QX80 and looks better too. BTW, I like the QX80 too, but I have a feeling that someone that you really hates owns an Armada...lol
@@bigd7386 You must be very confused then. You never, ever talk like this about the QX80, never. Is the QX80 going to take sales from the GM? You never say GM reign when defending the QX80. Your comment here is just hypocritical.
Premium is not a requirement, but there is a performance benefit in this application. Also Toyotas current lineup of SUV’s and trucks are trash. Numerous fit and finish issues. And you definitely aren’t getting Toyota reliability. Plan for a engine replacement at or before 60,000 miles.
Rejected at 1:52 If a new automaker releases vehicles with these kinds of mistakes, you can give them a pass. But when it's Nissan, it's unacceptable. Issue: The driving position and steering wheel are too close to the A-pillar, making it an uncomfortable and poor driving spot. Verdict: Rejected. The vehicle's other features are rendered useless by this fundamental flaw.
Idiots keep putting huge screens which show dust, fingerprints, and show reflections, not to mention the gloss black plastics inside and outside the car.
Avoid any nissan and infiniti vehicles. If this company goes bust next year good luck with the warranty, new parts and any future isses such as safety recalls.
You do know that they are thriving very well in other markets like the Middle East, Asein Market, Japan, Africa, and Latin America right ?! They are also doing better than Honda in China and almost on par with Toyota in China .. It's just Americans who know nothing about taking care of vehicles and your government pushing the EV, hybrid agenda
Please stop spreading this lie. Nissan hasn’t even posted a loss yet. It would take years of losses before they filed bankruptcy and even more to go completely bust. They simply don’t have a lot of money to do what they WANT to do. This vehicle clearly shows they’re fully functioning and still investing heavily in their products.

Another solid review, Mike! The signal stock would represent the final straw during congested commutes from work during rush hour.

The reason the turn signal is like that is because of the ProPilot 2.1. it can control the turn signal and needs a digital switch.
