In the justice league unlimited its kind of left open to debate if Cadmus actually cloned him if that was a lie fabricated by doctor mylo (and Doomsday doesn't seem to care either way)
Actually, there is no continuity error in the DCAU with Cadmus. They were formed to fight Superman after he was brainwashed by Darkseid into attacking the Earth, sort of like how Batman kept Kryptonite in the Batcave in case Superman ever went rogue again, only this was the US Government taking measures. In light of this, it does makes sense that they created Doomsday before the Justice Lords incident. The big game-changer that incident did was that after the Lords were defeated, Cadmus expanded their threat list to include the entire Justice League, not just Superman.
one of the problems I have with the upcoming Superman Doomsday film, is the fact that both Batman and Wonder Woman wear not available to fight doomsday Batman was in the middle of a gang war fighting black mask while Diana was on some deep space mission, they were not to be able to fight Doomsday.
Robomerc Yeah, The Justice League at the the time was JL: International as you stated. The other heroes featured in the film will be the more traditional line-up also based around this Universe (which is slightly based off New 52).
As far as the continuity error, I assume that doomsday was created by a government program that existed before the justice lord incident and was just rolled over into cadmus
From what you said about the incontinuity: i honestly just think Waller lied. She's a homicidal control freak. I am convinced that Waller created Cadmus the day the Justice League was formed.
Fun fact: this creature was created because someone noticed Superman had almost no enemies that could beat him in straight up slug fest. When the solution to this was presented in the form of a 8 foot tall spiky monster that could give Darkseid nightmares, the editor in chief expressed his thoughts by writing "Doomsday For Superman" on a chalkboard. The rest, as they say, is history.
Actually in the comic Booster Gold is the one who refers to him as Doomsday first because before Superman shows up he's taken out several other Justice League members and Booster calling for help says it looks like Doomsday. To note on his way to Metropolis he leaves a huge path of destruction pretty much trashing anything in his path and devestating the earlier Justice League members that try to stop him. Though the thought of anyone able to take down Superman barehanded being worthy of the name Doomsday does fit lol. Also of note for those who weren't reading comics at the time his origins were not something covered until later, in the comics we got a look at him in the chains with a message like (he's coming) and then the being found underground and breaking out. Though they had been pushing the rumor of the death of Superman. Then of course we got the rise of the Supermen which is the planned sequel for the Death of Superman animated movie. (Which if it follows the comics will introduce Cyborg Superman, Steel, Superboy, and the Eradicator)
The name actually comes from one of the Justice league members (I believe Booster Gold) describing the situation to Superman and telling him it's like Doomsday is here. And everyone loved it. And so it was.

Well.. The 'initial' start of Doomsday was on the planet Krypton.. but in the past, the 'people' at that time were like apes.. The Researcher who 'created' DD would harvest the remains and 'regrow' him and send him out again to the locals who again would attack and kill him, the 'memory's of so much death and pain caused him to have his rage. His body began to adapt each time it was killed, growing stronger.. like his body would do when fighting Superman.. and lois threw a rock at him.. the 'spike' from his forearm grew longer, his ability's where just that 'fast' in making needed improvements. When DD returned to the researcher in his final state, he killed the doctor and used his escape rocket to leave Krypton.. the 'apes' moved into the lab.. and learned from it which is why they could not leave Krypton.. They were more 'genetically' locked to the planet..
Ok so if lasering Doomsday the first time is the last time you can laser his brain in that specific way. Then what if you just keep finding new ways to lobotomize him? does it just not work or can you cheat the system
That's a good question but it's very hard to answer because of how Doomsdays "reactive adaptation" works. In a physiological sense Doomsday anatomy will adapt to whatever harmed/killed him last however, the newest adaptations within his physiology have been known to overwrite his previous adaptations. This is kind of why Doomsday has never been as powerful as he was in Hunter/Prey because he evolved so quickly his anatomy had to drastically readjust every time since. However, the biggest chink in Doomsdays plot armour is the fact he developed intelligence which gave him a fear of death.

Even in the animated movie, watching Superman get beat to Death by Doomsday was kinda horrifying. Seeing him hold and punch him in the gut over and over and over... Until Superman started coughing blood... Brutal... And it's a kids movie. 😮
Those seemed like some dumb ways to name it Doomsday I honestly figured they’d name him Doomsday because one of the titles Superman has been given is “The Man of Tomorrow” When the man of tomorrow dies, there will be no tomorrow, the sun sets and never rises again, the final day, the Doomsday
What comic does it show his creation by Bertran (sorry if that name is wrong)? I have read the collected Death of Superman (starting with Doomsday's release and ending at Superman's death) graphic novel which doesn't listen note that, but I am still noobish when it comes to comic book continuity.
I am hoping this movie is good but personally I think doomsday has been done to death and we really need a super sons animated movie because Jonathan Samuel Kent aka superboy an Damian Wayne teaming up would be amazing and adorable in my opinion ;)
With all the DC and Dragonball interaction in the fandoms, I wonder how a primitive saiyan grown in the same conditions as comic origin Doomsday would turn out?
Doomsday being from prehistoric krypton and going into outer space and then happening to come into contact with the last son of krypton seems a bit outlandish. I would like doomsday to be from krypton but then sealed in the original phantom zone and locked that projector inside some vault which was sealed inside krypton near the kryptonite. In fact the scientists could have made krpytonite because they wanted to make sure nothing came out of that projector. Then when krypton blew up the vault which held projector was so durable it survived along with parts of krypton (kryptonite) that ended up following kal el. Then he was jet streamed or sent in baby kalel’s flight plan like an asteroid but only after Clark grew up did lex find it and release the doomsday monster inside.
Basically Doomsday is a saiyan then, only he doesn't eat near literal tons of food or have the power to destroy a whole planet. Either way not a character you want to meet in a dark alley with a Superman t-shirt on. xD
Like the comics said, as soon as he became smart enough to speak, he became smart enough to feel fear and self doubt. Giving him a brain took away what made him unstoppable.

Even in the animated movie, watching Superman get beat to Death by Doomsday was kinda horrifying. Seeing him hold and punch him in the gut over and over and over... Until Superman started coughing blood... Brutal... And it's a kids movie. 😮
Those seemed like some dumb ways to name it Doomsday
I honestly figured they’d name him Doomsday because one of the titles Superman has been given is “The Man of Tomorrow”
When the man of tomorrow dies, there will be no tomorrow, the sun sets and never rises again, the final day, the Doomsday
Doomsday was made before superman was born
Back on Krypto 200,000 years ago
You should have done his comic origin... it's just better, considering it's ACTUALLY THE ORIGIN
Doomsday is a bit overpowered like if you agree.
I mean to beat Superman it’s kinda understandable or else how else would he win?
babydickslick yes he's has actually
No.
Reactive evolution and being immune to whatever killed it before!? If THAT'S not overpowered, then you don't know Superman well enough
Carla Hunter NOT at all
Wait a second... Just take a look at 1:46 they lobotomized the puppet but not the dude, whats wrong with you Superman?
The puppet is the ring leader
You would put a kill switch in doomsday for after he killed superman
batman vs doomsday awesome 👌 battle
How about Mobile Suit Dark knight Armor vs Doomsday an Super awesome match Battle!
Nah bats would win want to know how
Your expecting me to say because he is batman?
No because I'M BATMAN
nice video
Anything under the most powerful of Marvel the Ultimate would trash
I think you would say that MARVEL'S Characters wouldn't Stand A chance Against Doomsday!
@@ashakibailey8008 yup. Marvel characters are dots in comparison to doomsday.
He tried to lobotomize Superman with his heat vision just like the Justice Lord Superman did but it didn’t work
I hope deadman takes over doomsday’s body just to hold it long enough for the rest of the jl to defeat him
What comic does it show his creation by Bertran (sorry if that name is wrong)? I have read the collected Death of Superman (starting with Doomsday's release and ending at Superman's death) graphic novel which doesn't listen note that, but I am still noobish when it comes to comic book continuity.
Lobotomy is violent but killing is not😅. But yeah he can't die
I am hoping this movie is good but personally I think doomsday has been done to death and we really need a super sons animated movie because Jonathan Samuel Kent aka superboy an Damian Wayne teaming up would be amazing and adorable in my opinion ;)
2:18 where is his face
That's the question... His name is question.. why are you watching this video if you don't know about DC characters
fucking idiot
@@OfLanceTheLonginus no need for cursing
Your greatest enemy is yourself
With all the DC and Dragonball interaction in the fandoms, I wonder how a primitive saiyan grown in the same conditions as comic origin Doomsday would turn out?
Probably ten times stronger and with a snappy attitude and big hair. With a talking spoon as a sidekick.
Doomsday fusion of him and hulk
Behold DoomHulk the World Evil Rage Destroyer of life
whats the comics name that has doomsdays origin story?
So doomsday is like perfect cell
So that would mean that cell is base on Doomsday character and That Goku is Base on Superman character!
Cadmus didn't make the JLU Doomsday....
So does that mean doomsday and bizarro are technically brothers?
Well it is the new 52 so
in the new 52 superman killed doomsday
Then superman became doomsday
(SUPERDOOM comic)
I was thought DOOM-virus was suck by black hole out of Superman body...
I don't think those comci writers understood how evolution worked... or genetics...
FRIK THIS GUY! OVERPOWERED HELL!
Basically Doomsday is a saiyan then, only he doesn't eat near literal tons of food or have the power to destroy a whole planet. Either way not a character you want to meet in a dark alley with a Superman t-shirt on. xD
