100 likes? It's funny, I've never really kept up with the comics, or the newer cartoons for that matter. Not a huge DC or Marvel fan by any measure, but I do love stories. (In my opinion, narrative is the best type of art.) I love studying characters because they are what make fantasy come to life. I'm glad many agree with my analysis.
Movies didn't always need the best cgi or the best actors or a huge budget, all they needed were a good story and a great lesson to give to the people, and this movie does just that

All of this happened in two 22-minute episodes. Amazo gains the League's powers, leaves Earth for like a year, and comes back a physical god. Amazo makes a small appearance to fight Grundy but Grundy gets stronger with each hit so Amazo leaves until he finds a better solution

Amazo story line isn't too different from Marvels what if...where the android absorbes all that is and stood toe to toe against a Dr Strange's supreme version
It's a classic comic trope....in which when a character is introduced as a villain/antagonist, they are written to be more powerful. Once they re appear in subsequent issues or as a hero, they are written as less so because the hero/protagonist must almost always appear to be weaker than the antagonist. Just the way it is.

A tax auditor probably wouldn't be too effective. Should've taken the powers of all the US regulatory bodies and customs. There's no way in hell that Batman has permits for all these things and I doubt all of his Bat stuff are up to regulatory code. Even if they are somehow up to code, I doubt he ever sought out regulatory approval nor did he register anything. There's no way that the Bat Jet and Bat mobile got registered and approved to be used in the city. U can't even build a shed these days without the government shoving their nose where the sun don't shine. The Bat cave and a space station has no chance. I don't even want to think about how he got materials and equipment past customs.

But all of Darkseid's presence thru out the cartoons and comics are all of his avatar, as his true presence exists in a different dimension which can destroy everything should he really appears (watch Death Battle analysis) IMO, Darkseid avatar alone might be able to beat both Doomsday and Amazo, not just his strength and power but also his cunning and strategic mindset (thats why he only respects Batman). With his true presence, wouldn't even be a fight.

It's interesting seeing the parallel of Dr.Manhattan in DC's "Doomsday Clock" to Martian Manhunter and Amazo's plot-lines in these two episodes. This show was so good, I personally prefer how they handled it in the show more than the comic-iteration

It's interesting seeing the parallel of Dr.Manhattan in DC's "Doomsday Clock" to Martian Manhunter and Amazo's plot-lines in these two episodes. This show was so good, I personally prefer how they handled it in the show more than the comic-iteration
