Just got an Xtool scanner for Japanese cars. I got on Prime Day for 20% off with bi-directional control. Should work good.

460k and counting on my 09.
I don't have a check eng light on but I don't think it will pass smog and I didn't want to have to buy another Cat.
I've use Cataclean for my 09 Civic EX. Do you think Guaranteed to Pass will work for smog testing?
I always use Guaranteed to Pass before smog testing, but make sure you check the codes. There's no sniffer test on these cars, it's all OBD2.
Do you think it's worth it to replace the fuel pump with 460k on the clock? Mine is original.
Only if you notice a drop in pressure or no pressure.
@@kelvinsgarage and perhaps my XTool PS701 will tell me. Can't wait to hook it up.
The old school way is to simply squeeze the fuel hose with your fingers to feel if it gets pressured. But the location may be difficult on this car.
