Literally bought A75 this morning and I'm also surprised on how the rapid trigger performance is miles better compared to Razer's. It's also way more moddable compared to Razer or Steelseries.
More customizable than steelseries but in the sense that u can set the rapid trigger higher which I would say is nearly completely useless for gaming purposes, in the end u can make the steelseries more instant with 0.1mm actuation and 0.1mm rapid trigger. Wooting and steelseries are still in a class of their own when it comes to being the "fastest"
@@Divinity_vA don't get me wrong, it's still a good keyboard but you can notice a difference. It'll rarely if ever offer you a competitive advantage but you can notice a difference. Though you'd probably forget about it once you're in game and focusing on that.
My A75 arrives next week. Custom cable, new keycaps and wrist rest are already here. It also has rappind trigger and they are constantly improving on the software/firmware. Wooting posted a teaser of their next keyboard on Discord a couple months back (it looks like a 75%). At this point it doesn't make sense for it to not be an HE keyboard, so I'm holding out until that one. But from all the videos I watched on the DrunkDeer A75, it looks like a great choice for those who can't wait for Wooting, but still want their arrow keys, F-row keys, and HE switches.
@@Leon-Belmont I have absolutely zero idea when. I won't even try to guess because judging by their recent product releases (metal case, plates/foams, keycaps), they aren't exactly done with the 60HE yet. Bummer for us...

A big plus for Wooting that they provide regional layouts, especially european ones. I do not want to have to use the standard ANSI layout instead of my local ISO layout.
@@JazzD_335I mean i would love to have ö,ä,å on my keyboard, i doubt the size of those 2 buttons are the reason why people would want their local alphabet

A layer of keyboard dampening done by the feet with the DrunkDeer keyboard which is BETTER than what Wooting can offer at stock. Wooting keyboards aren't even considered great for the majority of the keyboard enthusiast community. You don't ever consider "gaming branded keyboards" good in the keyboard community.
Do these kind of switches cost this much extra to justify it's price? You basically described everything else cheap feeling and not that good, and I find it hard to believe this switches alone bump the manufacturing cost up by that amount? So how exactly is this price justified?
Is there an ISO layout (ANSI layout is out of the question for me)? I have learned to type, blind touchtyping (in school, long time ago) using 10 fingers therefore ANSI layout is not an option for me.

hey haus, love your videos but i cant find anything about motion sync for the lamzu mini 4k, i was wondering if you tested it and if its worth being on or not?
Its better off in my experience. Motion sync on makes the performance gains of 4khz very miniscule. Motion sync off for me is more noticeably snappier and having it on doesnt really do anything imo
im expecting by the end of the year you will have to make a Rapid Trigger keyboards round-up video or Tierlist 😂. Razer announced their version yesterday with the huntsman v3 pro and Yuki has some leaks on twitter about another one. I'm guessing the word is out on how to implement the rapid trigger and companies are rushing to production
The implementation isn’t that hard. Hall effect switches and sensors have been around since the beginning of computers and the patents are all expired. They mostly just use a hall effect sensor on the PCB and glue a magnet inside if the switch stem. All of the magic comes from the software that Wooting made to make hall effects more viable. Things like analog and rapid trigger. Unfortunately you can’t really patent software ideas, you can sue someone if they just steal your code, but the functionality typically isn’t protected. The good thing for wooting is that most companies don’t value customizable settings highly, so its unlikely Wooting will ever have a true competitor. Instead they will likely stop at implementing adjustable actuation point and rapid trigger. Just the areas they think customers care about the most.
@@Masoch1st the keyboard market is expensive precisely because people like you accept 130 being budget. Do you have any idea about their profit margins? The same can be said for GPU, RGB fans, basically everything "gamers" touch becomes inflated beyond what's reasonable.
