All these kids one day are going to tell their grandkids yeah I played with Yoyoka back in the day. 🐰🥁🐰🥁🐰
None of them is bad at their instrument. Pretty tight groove. So they can say they deserved it.
Yoyoka always raises the level of any band.
YOYOKA directing and encouraging in equal proportions. Quite the professional.
Yoyoka as usual knocks it out of the park
Whiskey a GoGo on Thursday night and a school recital on Friday. 😎
…in Austin. She’s quite the jet-setting rockstar!
Still incredible when you think about it.
Every person, band or group that plays with Yoyoka gonna have some epic stories to tell their kids and grandkids
I love this version. And I love you and your drumming! Fantastic performance.
Still Yoyoka at her best and what can we say about the young people who will be able to say that they once played with Yoyoka.
At Her best...
Thank you and I will correct it@@codjh9
The stage was set for drumming class so the mix gets a little bit inverted
The Stevie groove is built with many parts so their doing a good job with what they got for instruments.
Miss the horns but the groove is there
sounds like good music to me.
@@paulvon2378 Yes it is. But in comparison to the original masterpiece there is a shortage of instrument parts. Stevie plays drums, synth bass and 5 clavinet parts (!) to make up the groove - and then there is the Horns.

Everyone's commenting on the vocal mix...I understand, but it gives the song a unique vibe...nice to hear something that's not so perfect
SO solid! 🤟
Yoyoka is the ringer that drove that band. She's going to have a tremendous career.
カッコイイよ ! 共演者はリズムを取りやすくYOYOKAさんのドラムが頼りなることを実感できたでしょう。
Footage of this show will be in a documentary someday.
Yoyoka never disappoints...but I wish the audio was clearer 😅
that clavinova riff works pretty well on guitar too
Yoyoka killing it on the outro between the ride bell and the hi-hat. Great performance as usual.
Skvělý Yoyoka, mám rád Stevie Wonder 👍👏👏
Yoyoka looking around so confidently here. Totally leading the band, giving them a chance to hold together. I wonder of they realize they're playing with one of the world's best.
Stevie Wonder smiling saying Awesome cover guys
A very NICE cover!!! I never understood superstition. Maybe that's why I believe in it so much.
YOYOKA'S first cover of Superstition was the Beck, Bogert & Appice recording which was also the first published. Jeff Beck originated the drum part whilst jamming with Stevie who then refined it and played it on his own later much more successful recording. Check out YOYOKA'S BBA cover.
the school of music n the headmaster is yoyoka...
yeah the boss of that ,rocking that band prof.
Outstanding 🎶🎶🎶🎵👍👍
One of my fav songs ever. Rock on Yoyoka 🎉🤘
💚ya Yoyoka ✨
Awesome
Awesome version of that song. And as usual you rock!❤
Yes
nice!
Yoyoka rocks!
Very well played my friends! love your sound🎸
When the always modestly acting Yoyoka appears to be the most energetic one of the five; and when she is apparently, together with the singer, the only player on stage not acting like displayroom dolls, then you could consider it might play a role that her number of gigs is most likely higher than that of all others combined and multiplied by two or three ....
no matter else.. that beat is flow
Ludwig Drums の推薦おめでとうございます。🎉
Congratulations on your Ludwig Drums endorsement. 🎉
Yoyoka rock it... everyone else, well
音楽で一番大事なのはリズムだとよくわかる映像ですね。
School of music needs someone from the school of sound engineering to help them out
よよかちゃん、カーマインアピスさん♫もう会っちゃってるもんね😄
こうやってライブやってどんどん成長していくのね☺️
Yoyoka needs find a Sting like Vinnie Colaiuta did. I cant wait to hear original material. Take your time, have fun but I am so curious to know where she will take music next
Standby, incoming 26th.
Super Dave Osbourne on guitar!
❤😂🎉🌏🌍🌎🎆🎇🎊
Singers mic needs to be way up….
Karaoke version so everyone can claim to have sung with Yoyoka :)
I agree, all I hear is some bad ass drumming and bass. 👍.
They need to call the school of sound engineers!
@@qman1434 it’s a shame because she was tearing it up…
Play that FUNKY music Drummer you killed it 5 stars AW! ❤❤❤❤❤
You Is wonderfull my only sensei,my inglish Is bad, I love you,I cristiano for you. 😮😮
ラダ音楽学校 地図が載ってたからみてしまった^^ 👍Austen・POWER―
vocal lost in background
Nice work from all the youngsters, especially Yoyoka; but man that school needs some more speakers or a better mixing desk. The keyboard is anaudible and the vocals aren't much better. Really sad.
ミキシングの音響の調整不足でボーカルが可哀そうでしたが彼女はリズム感もノリも悪くないと思いました。
in 90% of all regular live music comments it would be : drums and guitar too loud 😅😉
the kbd guy suppose to play the brass section but hes is doing the hapsicord and the gtr player is doing brass.... mmm.....
Players part mixing not so good but fantastic groove
I'm a little suprised that after playing at the whisky a go go, that she would be playing in a music school. after watching her sessions at the go go, that seems to be a higher level of education that anything she could hope to get from this.. I know that Ellen Alaverdyan decided not to return to the School of Rock for that reason. Yoyoka needs to be challenged more than this. Just my thoughts.
As the description says, this is part of a drum clinic done by Yoyoka.
It’s not always about what Yoyoka “gets”, sometimes it’s about what Yoyoka gives back.
Valid points to be sure...i was just thinking she has plenty of time to be doing that after she secures her own success. But that's the american way. I forget her culture has different priorities 😊
It’s hard to predict which of her many current activities will contribute to her future success, it could even be this one🙂
And yes she definitely has a great sense of community that I hope “the industry” never destroys.
@@KimMoonbmwmoonie I think you are on to something - she wants to help others and that is very important to her.
Nice job except for the sound. The singer deserves better.
boy u guys are really nice and i guess when talking about children, you should be. I have long considered Yoyoka as a professional and only her performance was as such. Vocals lost in the sound or didn't have the power to cut thru, which ever, what you can hear was not good, you all know this
観客席も総立ちですな?(笑)
Vocalist can improve her stage presence x 100 by unpinning her right arm from her side
Hope Sandoval of Massy Star just stood their and sang.
Wait till these poor kids have to play with mortal drummers 😂😂
So true. Drummer makes or breaks a band. Can't cover up for them. Think about any top band, any genre. All had the best on drums.
Yoyoka оставляет впечатление приглашенной на выступление школьной группы звезды рока.
P.S. Звукач на этом выступлении классический "скользкий, противный, и без ушей".
The sound system is trash.
the singer's is not miked well. can't hear her at all. Yoyoka, on the other hand, sounds GREAT.
So under modulated.
I don't believe in superstition... it's unlucky.
Yep he's already a drummer. 80% of the responsibility of the band & only 10% of the credit.. why is he moving around more than anyone else. Yoy & the zombies... Lol. Who cares just play
She.
Agree - but Yoyoka is a a girl ..
YOYOKA is self-driven, and she's trying to be contagious.
Drums are too loud and singer can't be heard.. I'd play the drums as intensely but down dynamically
Frequently playing at the Whisky A Go Go this is soft for YOYOKA.
Yoyoka is always at the Best but the Singer Sucks!
Please at least try to be kind. Most Yoyoka fans are respectful and not toxic to her collaborations.
The vocalist doesn't "suck". She is hard to hear, and maybe straining a little to be heard. As the Description explains "Session at the YOYOKA Drum Workshop ... ". Yoyoka has been leading drum clinics/workshops for years. Inspiring other young musicians is part of who she is.
As soon you have westerns in the band you are lost.
Nice, but bad production. Sorry, but the sound is ruining the quality of the whole action.
love your playing but the rest of the band is nowhere near your level. hate to be so honest but this isn't something I'd release. yo girl that bass player was so off it was making you miss. dad you should know better.
1:05 School of music production. Nothing to do with dad. Why would he be involved?
As the first, visible, line of the description says "Session at the YOYOKA Drum Workshop". Yoyoka's there to demonstrate, teach and inspire other young musicians. Yoyoka's been leading Drum clinics/workshops for years. She started making her "Yoyoka Drum course" when she was 6yo. That is part of who she is.
If you knew anything about YOYOKA, you would know better.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌
song 👎
I guess she just did this for fun or a pro bono thing.
Not going to lie... this was a hard watch for me: she's surrounded by nobody that could compliment her level of talent.
Be kind and enjoy. They are all great
@@benardoswald6545 I had to stop watching it. The singer was awful. The sound engineering was deficient. THIS was at a school of music? I've seen better at Karaoke bars.
"Session at the YOYOKA Drum Workshop ... " says Description.
@@janbleeker Yup. Maybe add that is in the first words of the Description, which is visible.
@@janbleeker Yea I get it. I guess it just threw me way off to see her playing in this environment. I'm not hating on the other musicians, and that's my bad if I appeared to... I'm just calling it as I see it, through my (maybe pessimistic?) world lens. I guess I expected a higher level of skill seeing as it IS from a school of music... I would expect anyone in a 'school of xxxxx' to have a higher level of talent then the general population. But here, in THIS video, it seems they are almost all beginners. Again... just my understanding of this scenario.
