Laura, I want you to know how much you have influenced my vintage taste - I would have never looked twice at wooden and pottery things until getting hooked on your thrift trips and styling! I am absolutely addicted to your videos and never want them to end. Thanks for teaching this old dog a few new tricks! 🩷🩷🩷 tree from texas
😄 Thank you for hanging and learning with me!
Same here, I am totally hooked!
Loved that jacket great finds love this girl thrift trips so great 😊❤
@@bridgettesitton7018 oh, wasn’t it so gorgeous??? What a find!
She influenced me to like turquoise jewelry. And make a whole wardrobe around it.
I just went to an estate sale of a lifetime. It was so dirty...hoarder dirty. But they hoarded antiques. And when I found out they were selling stuff for .25 a piece I about died. Mass amounts of glassware, pottery, brass everything, baskets, pictures. I may never come across a deal like this again. A whole trunk load and a backseat for $40. I'm going to be chasing that dragon for a long time 🤣
Omg! I know the art piece of the woman with the baby! If I'm correct, it's by Vietnamese artist, Vu Cao Dam, who painted a series of paintings depicting "mother" or "motherhood". He studied art in Paris and I believe his original paintings are still highly sought after. I thrifted a small print of his art and that's how I learned about him. I gifted it to my bestie who is a mother. She loved it.
This!
Amazing!!! It was so beautiful!
That is so cool!
Let me know when you want to come thrifting in Phoenix! Lots of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings here, including his own summer home Taliesin West.
OMG that embroidered coat at the beginning - just one of the absolute best finds ever!!! The fit is perfect too!!!
It’s definitely in my top fav clothing thrift finds!! 😄
@@leftcoastrevivals -You have found some awesome pieces thru the years. I haven't noticed you really picking up clothes in awhile. This coat is beautiful, and what a score on the Johnny Was! What a beauty the turquoise ring is.
Simply love the Oregon coast trips. You have so many stores to shop/thrift in with great pottery, art, glass, jewelry, and uniquities! Your sense of style has helped me appreciate what I have and has given me a lot of ideas about what I want to try in my house. Every post is an educational experience and your enthusiasm is contagious! Your channel has certainly made my retirement more enjoyable.
The embroidered jacket and the Johnny was top are mega scores! Beautiful wood and pottery pieces! Your videos never disappoint and your love for all things vintage is contagious! Thank you Laura!
We sold Johnny Was in our boutique and the prices were a bit higher than that, more like $275 to $300 but the fabrics used are such high quality that if you clean them gently they will last you for years and years, you’ll be handing down the pieces to your granddaughter as soon as she’s old enough to appreciate vintage.😊
The red jacket is so you. It's fabulous! Red looks great on you. Loved so many things you found, the earrings at the end are stunning. Great seeing your happy dance after finding the Santa Clara bowl. Love watching your thrifting adventures. ❤
That embroidered coat looks like it's kashmiri work - may be fine wool and silk! If there are no labels, take it to a dry cleaner and they may be able to tell you.
The red jacket is stunning darling! It looks fabulous on you!❤
You have a fabulous Boho western modern colorful joyful style 🌹 it goes with your happy personality ❤️
I am in France and you saved so many of my insomnias ❤ thank you! I love your videos
I loved that jacket and the Johnny Was!! I mostly sell clothing but I love watching your videos for several reasons: you have a wonderful artistic eye for things I'd never look twice at, you help your followers learn new things, and you have such a sweet voice and smile! Thanks for all you do!
Hi Laura, I always learn something new from you! Best to Jesse, Debra
Laura, that red embroidered coat is an absolutely precious find!! From the looks of it, it is from Kashmir (the northern most state of India, popularly referred to as 'jannat' which translates to 'heaven on earth'. And Kashmiris are known for their skilled embroidery work (also called kashidakari) often done on a specific type of woolen fabric called pashmina. Your coat does not look like it is pashmina but it is still a fine woolen fabric. The embroidery on your coat is called aari work which is done not with a needle, but with a hook which is called 'aari'. Kashmir being a land of lush beautiful surroundings, the floral and leaf motifs are inspired by nature.
I love watching this channel. I have learned a lot about shopping for vintage funds💜😊😊👍👍
Love love that beautiful red embroidered jacket ❣️❣️❣️❣️
I just love your videos..I am amazed at your finds... that jacket was amazing. Thank you for inspiring not only me but others. You are truly and inspiration
Laura my mom had those frosted clear glass plates and she would place them into the freezer b4 dinner and we would use them for salad or fruit during the hot summer months. They seemed to make the salad and veggies really cold and crispy and us kids ate more veggies.
Fabulous in that coat!!
12:50 Peppe is my mother in law! She’s an awesome lady and I agree she has some great taste
The silk jacket looks gorgeous on you! Enjoy, wear it well!
Really interesting finds! That embroidered jacket is amazing!
Hi laura, you found an beautiful Czech blue and green vase. There are several Czech glassartists that used that color design. In the Beranek glass factory there was Frantisek Spinar and Ladislav Palecek. I Think your vase is by Ladislav Palecek. Greetings from Netherlands by Theo
I love your taste in vintage items! I hope you keep the embroidered jacket. It fits your style perfectly and looks wonderful on you. God Bless!
Keeper for life!
At 2:45 you showed a TEPCO mark on the bottom of a bowl. There is a place near San Francisco called TEPCO Beach where the TEPCO factory used to sit. When it went under, they dumped all of their ceramic and pottery on the beach and you can actually go there and find all different kinds of old pottery shards. TEPCO made restaurant ware as well as serving dishes for the Navy. Check out Mudlarking with Nicola White on RUclips. She just posted a video showing her finds there. (There are a few very interesting things she found there too, that are not related to TEPCO). I think you'll find it very interesting!
Thank you for sharing this!
@leftcoastrevivals Of course! Maybe you can visit it on your next trip to California. I saw another video that says the beach is very accessible from the Costco parking lot!
I watched that video I subscribe to Nic's channel
Hiya Laura , that jacket was made for you! absolutely stunning ,you really suit it 🥰 I’m loving that you are spotting thistles everywhere, once you’ve been to Scotland 🏴 it’s in your heart ♥️ always ☺️ have a nice day, Belle
If you carried a pad of paper and soft charcoal pencil, you could rub the signatures on the back of pottery and read the names better.
Great tip!
Laura, love love love the jacket! It was made for you!
The pitcher with the handle that isn’t attached is a design that I’ve only seen with Dorothy Thorpe in a martini pitcher.
Laura, I love the red jacket too! You always look great in your hats.
Those Denby dishes! We had those as our special occasion dishes when I was a kid in the '80s! I loved/love them. I hope to thrift some someday. I actually had forgotten they were a part of my past until this video.
I have been enjoying your videos!! I love your hats!! They add some pizzazz:)
Love shopping with my FAVORITE LEFT COAST GIRL🧡🧡
What a great gift The embroidery like your wall paper .Hand made things are always the best gifts
I absolutely love that red light jacket!
We used to live that coastal area for 10 years and shopped in that store weekly!
When we lived there, there was no Goodwill yet. I so missed all the little thrift shops along the coast!
Such awesome shopping, Laura!!
I LOVE folk-painted stuff also!!
You found some 💎 gems, as usual!!
I found Johnny Was in my home town goodwill where I once worked. Extra thrill!
LOVE YOUR STYLE THE BEST OF ALL THE PEEPS I WATCH!!!!!!
I had a similar vintage jacket like that, but it was a black velvet. I’m sick I got rid of it. Lots of great finds!
It s so beautyfull there!
Grate prices for the Pyrex
Stunning Maroccan style dress/ coat!!!!
Love the vases
Jummy seafood!
Did your friend get that artwork, I love it!
I love the gingerjarlampbase. Love that color
Beautyfull floral top
I love vintage clothing
Stunning ring!
Thank you so much for sharing! XXX
Omg..almost as good as live😅🎉😂 posted 10 minutes ago! The embroidered Jacket WOW🎉🎉🎉
I love that jacket soooo much 🥰
Hi there Laura, I follow your videos & love your infectious kindness & joy & knowledge of the mid century modern decor! Just a note about the small gray fluted bowl you found @ Goodwill, that was the dip bowl to a collectible chip & dip set! Most times they’ve been separated & don’t have their metal hangar’s attached! I’ve never seen one in smoky gray before! Thanks for taking us along on you delightful road trips 😃💕Christina 🍋
I live down under. And turquoise jewellery is not a common appearance in thrift shops where I go. If I find it, I’m sceptical it’s real turquoise. So to see the unique pieces in your videos 😻 lovely!
This was such a successful trip, Laura. Some fabulous finds, that mid century lamp is gorgeous and looks perfect in your home. Your red jacket coat 🤤 ❤️🧡💛🤍 You are the very best!
That table lamp you got was at one of my local antique malls for $900!!! That is a great buy!!!!
Love this video because I go to Tillamook & Rockaway Beach every summer and I've shopped at that Goodwill.
They’re great spots!!
I got those Pyrex as a wedding gift in 1981
Dang, I never have that much luck at the Tillamook location! It’s like the universe knows you are coming and provides! 😅 That red embroidered jacket looks darling on you. 😄
The dusty blue lamp is GREAT. I love Bridgette’s needlework! And i have some of those wooden duck bowls in my stash right now.
She’s so talented! She could sell her needlework!!!
I would love to see an update on your home when you get chance please Laura
We’ve taken the year off remodeling to travel but we’ll be getting back to some projects later this year 😄
You should come to Springfield Ohio Flea and Frank Lloyd Wright house In May.
Ooooo.... love love loved the little black and white bowl❤ you are so fun Laura, I need to invite you to Arizona for a shopping trip!!!
I have Pyrex that was my mawmaws. I had no idea about Pyrex stuff but a few years ago my hubby had his friend with his new gf come for supper and she is an antique store owner. She told me it was worth a good bit of money cuz of the pattern and color. I had it priced with her at one of her friend's who does that for a living.. total for all my pieces is about $900 .. I have a 4 piece set of a beautiful golden orangey color with white flowers. And an olive green with flowers 4 piece set. All in wonderful condition.
Great finds & I learned a lot. Thanks!
The Oregon coast is my favorite place on earth! I’m glad to be here with you!
Great finds as usual Laura! The embroidered jacket is so you!❤
My husband and I were in the Tillamook area a few years ago! I loved it! And we happened upon Fish Peddler! It was the best seafood ever! And I don't usually eat sea food, such good times!
Oh, wow! That textured wood piece behind the blue lamp is fabulous
Really enjoyed you'all s thrifting trip.
Such great finds at such good prices. Lovely area and you are so cute doing your Happy Dance!!
The embroidered coat is spectacular, what a great find!
Thank you! I love it! 😄
Love the pie dish - reminded me of my great aunt who was a wonderful cook, but you never knew what you were going to get - the mystery was solved when we once got a meat pie for pudding- she had marked the different pies S for sweet and S for savoury.
Thanks again Laura for taking us along so many beautiful things live the stange earrings 🥰🦋🦋🦋🌻🌻🌻🐝
Stoppers sell by themselves too. I’m always looking for stoppers because I’ve sold every one I’ve ever picked up and listed! 🙌
That wooden fruit bowl (if real wood) sells for around 80-100 at the local craft shops here in the south.
Good score on the Santa Clara pottery. The glass vase looks like Murano.
at my current stage in life, my income barely covers my expenses so i love that i can live vicariously through your videos!! hopefully one day i can go to the thrift and actually buy something haha
My parents had that brown Denby plate set. It doesn’t suit my tastes now but it’s so sentimental to me. When I see it my heart swells
My most favourite video with so many shops & thrifting. Love the pottery, the wood, the clothes. Thank you for video 🇨🇦❤️
Hi Laura from Yorkshire UK 😊 I picked up the Czech wooden bird bowl and the twisty candelabra in my local charity shop for £1 each! I didn’t know where the bowl was from so thanks for the identification, always learning from you, love your videos ❤
Hey, that is my pasta maker! Haha! Duncan on the top! Ever since our trip to Italy, I have been looking for thrifting a pasta maker.
Haha I’ll bring it to Texas for you!!! Seriously! Let me know if you really want it 😘
I know! I love watching these videos and looking through my own junk for things of value to sell. I love your taste. You had me at Justine Blakney and your similar jungalow style. Love your taste!
Those clip on earrings would look great clipped onto the front of some plain shoes
Laura I love your dance when you find something you really dig!!!!!!!!!!!!
💃💃💃
This was a great trip, I love all of the things you picked up. Especially that lamp
Hi again Laura. The earrings are Tabra. She is the winged nude goddess. I have a brooch and the wings were similar...cheers
Wow! That was so much fun. I will start shopping again at thrift stores. Thank you. I'll be watching 😊
I am always blown away by the pottery you find at Goodwill. My local store never has pottery🤷 I've been checking for years!!!
Great finds!. You can't beat quality vintage items. I love your aesthetic. Greetings from Cape Town South Africa🇿🇦👌.
I always look forward to your blogs Laura.
Ive learned so much about art and glass and other vintage things.
What great finds!! Your bookcase looks 👌 *chefs kiss* the mix of boho and mid century is perfect ❤
Love your show. Could you meet your comp photos larger. You can't read the prices on them that you circle
Hi Laura an friends loved coming around with you all ,beautiful place on this earth sending lv Ann uk ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Love your videos. The knowledge you share makes me a better vintage and thrift shopper.
Fantastic video, I wish I had thrifter friends that would do the same sort of trip with me where I live! What amazing finds and so much fun together! 🥰The things you find on the "left coast" are so much different than what we find on the "right coast"! 😆
I enjoyed watching your video. I'd love to visit that Goodwill. Thanks for posting.
The smokey bowl you picked up is a dip bowl that sat on the edge of a bigger chip bowl. Or at least it looked like one i had years ago.
Perfectly Lovely costal stores!!! Thank u for taking us with u!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Beautiful finds! Thanks for sharing with us!
What a great haul! That brightly embroidered coat is amazing and you will carry it off so well ! Such great thrifting in Oregon and you impress me with all your knowledge!
My dream is to find Johnny Was in the wild.
They’re soooo hard to find!
Such great finds!! I’m a sucker for pottery and that embroidered jacket was beautiful!!🤗
Glad to see you in my hometown!! ❤❤
You make my day brighter
😘
Love your shelves cluttered there beautiful!!!!!!
I go to Mexico a lot, the earrings look like Mexican folk art to me! So cool!
The embroidered jacket you bought was beautiful.😍
🤣"A tigeradial", I want to find a "tigeradial" too.😅I am still laughing over that one.❣👍 I loved this great video. I am north of you near-ish to the border. I enjoy your videos so much. My dad was the Jr. Prince at the rose parade in the 40's in Portland. I have the news clippings. 😁 I have wanted to tell you about the old ephemera from Portland.
We live with such beautiful beaches along this coast line🏖 God's blessings will rain down on you with peace, sweetie.
I have such respect for you and have been a subscriber for years. I am old now and miss the hunt for my booth, for my home, for happy unexpected finds, like a" tigeradial". That was 25 years ago.
Love the jacket, red looks good on you🎉❤😊
So I think I visited these shops the same day you did!! I ended up getting a few things I see in this video from the Hope thrift store 😂. They're famous now, I guess!
