Found your mod by looking for solutions on my own mod's capabilities and I have to say, this mod is awesome ! I loved reading BS's Mistborn series and was surprised it even inspired a mod from someone ! :D
The mod is quite cool, and I enjoy the capabilities it adds in. It's great that Mistborn has inspired mods, and I wish you best of luck with your mod! Would it also be an Allomancy mod?
Thanks for watching! Did I miss anything from this mod? Any other questions about it? It turns out I forgot to link the mod in the description, so here it is. Allomany by legomw99: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/allomancy
Without looking at the code, I don’t know anything about the ore distribution. One way you could figure it out on your own would be a creative mode world with a command block that removes all air around you. Using that you can locate ores, which can help find where at least one possible y coordinate at which it can spawn. Just in case, you might want to double check the recipe for bendalloy; I don’t remember at the top of my head if bismuth was in the added metals; it might instead need something like lead. (Accuracy to reality was not the main focus in making this mod, but rather the abilities themselves.)
If you find my comment, I’ve got the link to the download in that. I have also done a video showcasing Feruchemy, and that mod was made to work with this one! There is also a Hemalurgy video too, which requires both of those mods to work.
First, you'd need to drink the metals using a vial. This can be done by grinding them into flakes using the hand grinder, crafting them with the vials, and then right clicking to drink them. Next, you'd need to burn them. If you check your keybinds, there is a command for "Burn metal" and a separate command for each individual metal. If you have multiple metals, when you tap the "burn metal" button, it brings up a wheel. In this wheel, you can tap each individual metal manually, meaning you don't need to have a keybind for each metal. However, when you start you'll only have one metal until you either craft Lerasium or use Hemalurgy (a separate mod.) In this case, when you hit the "burn metal" button, your metal will start to burn, as shown by getting the effects and a line going down the vial on your screen. This will continue until you've run out of the metal or you stop the buring process.
The Allomancy mod. It will only show up if you have multiple powers though. If you hit the button in which the wheel normally shows up, it'll instead burn your metal if you have only one. You also can customize which powers correspond to which keys in the key binds.

Is there any available info on ore generation? I'm having a heck of a time finding bismuth and I want that sweet sweet bendalloy

this is awesome, how can I play this!
Also, have you given thought to feruchemy?

Would be cool if this mod had its own mobs too to fight enemy allomancers or inquisitors or even Lord Ruler or Ruin itself
WHY AM I ONLY FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS MOD NOW???
i need this
What is the mod that gives the names for the metals is it just allomancy
All of those metals are added by Allomancy.
How do you burn pewter?
First, you'd need to drink the metals using a vial. This can be done by grinding them into flakes using the hand grinder, crafting them with the vials, and then right clicking to drink them.

what mod adds the wheel?
The Allomancy mod. It will only show up if you have multiple powers though. If you hit the button in which the wheel normally shows up, it'll instead burn your metal if you have only one. You also can customize which powers correspond to which keys in the key binds.
