I stayed at the L'Fisher hotel and it was great. I ended up there after I had to cancel my reservation at Calle Nueva hotel due to the loud construction and lack of internet. The L'Fisher hotel's rooftop bar was nice. Their gym is outdated and in serious need for new equipment. But the staff, security guards, receptionists, and their restaurant was perfect. I'm definitely going to try the Seda Hotel rooftop bar next time.

Portiko is an overrated bar/resto with lots of sweaty kids with no money dancing on weekends. 😂 Good food though.

You should try Soulful an Southern US BBQ place. You walked by it on your way to the overhang. Also I have to try a Ramen restaurant in the 9th Way food court.

For beaches better go somewhere else, there are none
My cousins have Airbnb units in the city. But as far as a "good" beach near the city, there are none. Just public dark sand beaches with lots of trash. You'll have to go south of the city.
