Toyota Avalon Valve Cover Gasket Replacement Procedure 2005-2012

In this detailed instructional DIY video, I am going to show how to replace (remove and install) Toyota 2GR-FE 3.5L V6 engine valve cover gasket.
This procedure is for Toyota Avalon, Toyota Camry and Lexus ES350 from 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. The engine too continues in production through to 2018. (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018) for Avalon, Camry (ended in 2017) and Lexus ES350.

Hi one question what is it the white square thing attached to the left side of manifold a sensor ?? My 06 avalon does have it broken

That is ACIS control connector, ACIS controls air distribution in the intake manifold. This improves fuel efficiency, power, and torque, and reduces intake noise.

forgot to install single o ring for cam oiler manifold on right side of valve cover. You replaced VVT o rings though? At 54:00

Normally not all the bolts in a valve cover have the same torque specs. For uniformity, I would recommend you use 8ft-lbs.
