Good afternoon @all-about-cars I was driving along the road and the automatic transmission failed and the car stalled Mercedes C300 2007 Since W204, now the automatic transmission does not work for me. Before that, a noise appeared somewhere, then the last time when it started moving it jerked violently. When I bought it, I didn’t check it and didn’t change the oil in the box, but when I stopped, I checked the oil level, it was normal, but the oil was blackish. What do you think about replacing the transmission?

Open bleeder before squeezing caliper in caliper is the garbage can of the brake system all particles such as internal rubber and such from older hoses collect in bottom of caliper if you squeeze caliper you shove all that trash into master cylinder and possibly ruining master cylinder

i think what he meant was dont top off brake fluid while brake components are being serviced- once everything is put back together properly then you may do so and may need to add fluid while bleeding air from brakes.

Dont take that bad advice above. Extract the master cyl first. Dont waste your time opening a system unless youre flushing it or changing a caliper or line

You're holding the bottle the wrong way bud. Flip it 180* so the opening is closest to you. That prevents spillage.

Hold the oil with its spout up on top, then pour. You might not spill a drop then.

If your oil filter does not install straight up. It’s best to use a funnel to fill the center with oil. Then oil the rubber gasket. It keeps spillage to a minimum if you have to turn the filter on its side to install it.

I have a 2013 S550 and I'm experiencing an issue where the right side keeps sagging. The suspension compressor stopped working, so I replaced it. However, the new compressor still doesn't turn on. I've checked the relays and confirmed there's power. My question is: if the valve block is malfunctioning, could it prevent the compressor from turning on at all, or should the compressor still activate regardless of the valve block's status? Essentially, I want to know if a faulty valve block can stop the compressor from even starting up.

There are two sets of MIN/MAX, one for 20C and one for 80C, for depending on whether the engine is warm or not I presume? Yours was already on the MAX for the 20C, if the engine was cold, that is correct is not?

You are not showing how to replace the fan shroud assembly’s. Your only showing how to remove them. And wrestle with them and at all costs force them out. Not a good video . Change your subject to removal only

You don’t show how to remove the Hose or the electrical clip. And you also don’t show how to push the canister upward to remove it

I discovered the rusted out rear subframe quite by accident. I bought new wheels/rims for my 2013 E350 and when they arrived we put the car up on a lift to remove the stock wheels and test fit the new ones to make sure there’s no fitment issues. While up in the air a quick inspection of the undercarriage seemed like a good idea, and the rear subframe was completely rusted out. The rest of the underneath side was clean & spotless. Thus prompted immediate research on Service Bulletins or Recall Notices. And came across all kinds of issues, concerns, replacements, etc. My dealership agreed to replace the subframe immediately, thank goodness. Now I just pray they put everything back together as original without misplacing items, forgetting to do this or that, etc. A 4-wheel alignment is necessary after all this….just an FYI.

As far as I can remember, SHELL has been the factory fill on regular Mercedes Benz. It's only the AMGs that had been using Mobil 1as Factory Fill. So it's perfectly fine to use any oil as long as it meets the API rating of the manufacturer.

Great video man , i have a c300 2010 4matic , sometimes when i turn on the car and put d it does not move , then i shift to p again and then i put to d it change but it jumps when i switch between p r and d , and if i turn it of then on it will be fine again , last week while driving i noticed that the car is not gearing up or down it was stuck at like the 3 th on the highway , then i went to gas station turn it if then on it would jump when i change gears from p to d to r , and on d it is stuck on the first gear and does not gear up , ended up towing the car , sorry for the the long comment thank you
