Nice campground, thanks for sharing. It appears this campground is between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. It looks best to access this campground through Bassalt on Frying Pan Rd, correct?
That is the way we went. There is an alternative route taking HWY 91 out of the Breckenridge area south to Leadville and then across via Country Rd 4 and it is quite a bit shorter distance but still about the same amount of time. However, our GPS chose the Basalt way up to 70. Not sure what Country Rd. 4 looks like so probably more twisty and slower pace, hence the same amount of time.

Are the bear boxes shared between sites or does each site have their own?
Each site has their own bear box which is really nice.
