It is a smashing one off product for discovering the trick to be a candle maker for profit minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my work buddy got cool results with it.
Erica, I still use my 2 pound pour pot. I pour all my candles individually, so I pour from my presto pot, to my small pitcher, add fragrance and then pour. That way I can say to my customers that it was individually hand poured by me! This is important in my luxury line. I take all the care in the world to make the process is as individually made.

The digital thermometer is normally reading the temperature at the bottom of the pouring pot, which is not accurately showing the temperature of the wax
i'm just tuning in now and I'd like to know this too. it's only the pitcher I suppose. Does the pitcher even need to be cleaned or do you just add more wax each time and the remains of last time melt in?
Great videos. Can you make a video on how you make soy wax 160z candles and which wick is good with it? And show how you do the formulation with it like the net weight and fragrance please? You explain how to do these things great.

My laser thermometer has surface and body temperatures, when I forget to switch it to surface, it shows way hotter than what the wax is. It has deceived me a few times. Thank you for the video ❤️

Your amazing Am trying to get started on my candle making and I don't know what I'm doing wrong my candles keep having these holes that form after it dries and my candle that I sit inside the center it sinks down in that so what am I doing wrong to have the candle that are settled and then it like caves in in the center what can I do to fix that

I just wanted to ask; between a double boiler, electric wax melter( that comes with candles er making kits) and a Prest pot, do you feel out of the 3 the electric wax melter is the best?
This may seem like a silly question but what computer system is better when creating labeling, tracking expenses,etc ? I ask this because some programs may not work on Chromebooks but do on Mac.
Oooo this is something I’m not sure of! I’ve only ever used an HP Windows laptop to do all of my designing on maestro label designer, but I can’t imagine that a Mac wouldn’t allow you to do that 🤔 And I actually use my phone to do all of my expenses tracking on an app called Quickbooks self employed ☺️

What is the best fragrance oils to put in your wax melts that are pet safe? There’s so much information out there but I’m not sure what is trustworthy. 😊
Hmmm I actually haven’t heard anything that’s not safe for pets, unless you’re using pure essential oils. I would start with candlescience’s FO, they have a “clean scent” initiative that you should check out :)
I made candles today and I’m letting them set for overnight in my room with ac cooling the fan is on too.. so it is okay or will the scent go away if I leave it that with lid open? Please reply I need

I don’t clean them out unless I’m changing out wax. If I clean them out then I just pour the remaining wax out left at the bottom and I wipe it down with rubbing alcohol. If I’m keeping the same wax in there I will just keep adding more wax to melt down (I will turn it off, let it harden up when I’m not using it, and turn it back on the heat it up when I’m ready to use it again)

those are sinkholes. look up Jeff Standley on how to fix that.

Always test in the exact jars, with the exact wax, the exact fragrance oil AND fragrance oil percentage that you want to sell :)
