Yeah, I unsubscribed before I subscribed, just because of that.😁s/ Looked like an epic show. But, as a bass player, I think Animal's needs...a bass player.
It's fucking wild how Tosin has been the focal point of this band forever, but with this new record it seems like Matt Garstka is transitioning into the show stealer. The guy is absolutely fucking mental. What great footage dude, this is amazing.
Well they said every record was written with different focal points. This one was written in a way that lets Matt show off more. The last record had more flavor from Javier and the one before that was heavily from Tosin
I just saw them last night in chicago and there were 4-5 times matt was going off and i was just laughing to myself about how insane it was.....very cool
1:22 Nothing beats this section of thumping, it's pretty much the first time they do it in this set list so it's such a heavy mood change during the concert... and they catch you with the 808 at 1:37 just to finish you off. The video on my channel doesn't put it into words... it's like getting kick in the guts! You can hear the audience reaction too lol
It only takes 3 brilliant talented people to make the most incredible wall of metal sound. I will never understand how they can be so good. So bummed i didn’t see them this time around on tour after seeing them on tour for their last two albums.
3:48 in the the last note of the 16 notes of the drumbass, you hear a scream that melts perversely with the song, like AAL awoke the beast of someone in there.
cool video my dude! you know your skills are absolutely batshit INSANE when you steal the show from tosin and Javier. I'm. a guitar player myself, but I just can't help being absolutely stunned when I hear matt garstka. don't even know what to say really, I just can't get over how good that dude is
Matt Gartska has overtaken Tosin as the most impressive member of this band. This album is one of their best, but the drums are what put it over the top. Some of the guitar melodies are a little derivative of past AAL songs, but the drumming is insane.
for some reason Animal's set wasn't loud enough in my opinion... maybe it was just because Jake from Intervals really fills out his band's sound... an excellent show musically though \m/
Let's play a game. Who got the worst advertisement when you clicked on this video? I got a 5 minute ad for marrying questionably aged Slovak women. What did you get?
Sorry for the cutout around 3:19, my finger slipped and stopped recording. I know, I suck. I hope it's not too much of an annoyance. ENJOY!

Yeah if you watch their interview with Rick Beato, Tosin talks about how they made Matt’s parts in the new record much more impactful and “intrinsic”
Definitely. He and that total maniac in Polyphia are my favorites right now.

Everybody is dancing to different beats and they’re all correct, it just depends which of Matt’s limbs you’re grooving too
Matt Garstka is scary good. Every tour he improves in a way that didn't even seem possible
🐐
not human i swear. he’s pretty much a programmable drum machine 🤣
He was always the most impressive drummer I've ever seen and improves more than any other drummer. Crazy stuff.
I just saw them last night in chicago and there were 4-5 times matt was going off and i was just laughing to myself about how insane it was.....very cool
Exactly! It's so exciting to witness that!
Holy shit give that sound guy a raise, I can't remember the last time I've heard live drums sound this good yet still nice and natural
small venues mate, drum will always sound good in them. but yes they do sound great live
Matt will go down as one of the greats. I mean Tomas Haake admires him for Christ sakes
where did he say that?

Oh my gosh, I’m terrified for what I’m about to experience at Orlando

A great reminder of how powerful Matt's live performaning is. Goosebumps just writing about him, fuck
Saw them in Orlando last Saturday. Scary to think that Matt has seriously improved since the last time I saw them. They found another level.
All about the music.. much love for that

Maybe the Most atmospheric brutality filled ending to a song....prophetically on point!
This song is exceptional. Been listening to AAL since 2017 and this is my favorite song now. Love how it hits you at all angles.
Matt may be the best drummer in the world
cool video my dude!

Thank you so much for the footage. This band is definitely my fav all-time
Pretty good vid and the sound isn't bad, thanks for posting this, missed the show so this is next best thing
Great show from both the band and the crowd.
Can’t wait to see them Monday in Chicago.

Thanks for uploading these. I was here and it was probably the best show ive seen.
Absolutely cannot wait to see them in DETROIT!!!
This was awesome!
What a Feelings bro!! They’re awesome
1:26 gave me such a good chuckle haha
props to their lighting guy. dude is on point
The live version is nastyville!! It's a groove one could live in woo hoo!!
Yea they better be paying this dude!!
The comically good matt
Matt’s the goat
1:27 The only logical response to the complexity. “AHASHAHAA!!!!!!”
bro Matt Garstka is starting to look like fucking John Bonham on stage ahahaha, probably already reached similar legendary status aswell!
Dude I was thinking the same thing and then I saw your comment omg
Matt Garstka and Gavin Harrison are probably the best drummers alive at the moment
I tend to watch this one as much as the album version 😅 😊
1:31
that man killed the surfer so fast
he's on point like the band
THANKS A LOT!
this is better than previous album holy sht!

this was awesome but we moshed harder in MN ;)
Acho que nessa vibe, a banda deveria incluir Inamorata no show. É um som pesado e nunca vi um video deles tocando ao vivo.
Absolutely fucking insane.
Quality 🔥🤘
Atlanta soon!
crazy matt...!
man that was tight
Gawd.
Never went to see them when they were in my city. I'm starting to think that was a mistake...
definitely a mistake :-:P
Did they end up playing the entire album like they said they would or just a few songs?
Just a few, the only one I didn't record was Monomyth
@@anthonymacon it’s on the bands website
I see them tomorrow, what was the setlist?
You can still here the ghost notes, even on this shitty recording. Noice, Matt, very NOICE! Haha
Sounded like the Wonder Woman theme song for a second there in the beginning!
mech bonham
He is looking a bit like young Bonzo these days
if young Bonzo was shredded haha

I got a 5 minute ad for marrying questionably aged Slovak women. What did you get?
That says a lot more about you than it seems like you think it does
