Saw them in Cincinnati and yes, the seating in the "pit" area really put a dampen on the energy that the performance deserved

Am I crazy or am I hearing high hat hits when he is not hitting the high hat? I thought that there may be a trigger on the snare to signal a high hat sound but it just seems there is like a high hat track that is getting played. I know that is not the case but I am confused. Can you hear high-hat rhythms that he is not playing ( I am speaking specifically about the first song).
i feel like youre confusing the small stack on his right for a hihat because i can see him play everything i hear
could be his 2 small stacks which he uses a lot on the first song or he could be splashing the hi hat with his left foot on the hi hat pedal
