I cant even understand what is happening but i like it
Not even a parrot could headbang to this speed
Leonardo Milions just nicely blended 3/4 and 4/4 my boy
This band completely changed my perception on music to be honest. It really made me realize I knew nothing at all, relatively speaking.
Damn life is beautiful sometimes.
I came for Animals As Leaders but I really enjoyed the comment section, for a change.
This is the type of band that guitar teachers listen to
my guitar teacher introduced me to them...
My russian drum teacher likes them
TheGregorianSupe because Gartska is a freaking animal
Music for musicians
@@softpool1286 lol
5:48 good guy Javier, lead audiences to clap on the right beat
that was amazing, they're so intuned to their own beat
Actually he made them clap the harder part. There is a straight cymbal beat to follow in that section.
What if everyone in the audience are elite musicians and that’s why they know to clap to odd time signatures
@@drperkyreal4686 Got me thinking about a university for elite clappers, where one would master the art of clapping and headbanging to progmetal!
Does anyone know what kind of polyrhythm or polymeter this is?
Absolutely PHENOMENAL, they have removed all the sex and swagger from Rock Music and turned it into a mathematics exam BUT it must be admired as extremely inventive 😊
bruh
Disagree tosin is fresh as hell with his turtle necks.
U can find all the swaggy shit and explicit sex shits in pop music more than rock.......no offence
Idk about that, they have a lot of personality for a band with no vocals lol
Swagger is right there. Its called Tosin. What you talking about?
not really my kind of music, but the way these guys can play and the joy they have while playing makes it worth to watch the complete footage. great players .
dn lamp I’m with you on this, the music struggles to flow, it almost gets going and then goes all array!
00:30 that guy tapping the beat, I salute you.
Who? Adam Sandler?
What about that dude having a blast at 1:24 ?
Denden damn did not see that before
axl rose big thumps up to that guy
After that he got an A+ on his math test.
This band is criminally underappreciated.
Are they? This video has a million views
Elias Oliveira i'm with you pal!
Let'em listen to the shitty songs they love and let us enjoy the REAL art!
Never heard of them before yesterday. They’re amazing, no doubt about that. Perhaps a better publicist is needed.
thats what not having vocals does. i think to a lot of people vocals make a song more tangible, but people who like AAL won’t care about that.
This band is over rated rubbish
Those three gotta be in the top 10 best musicians of our timeline, seriously.
People don’t give the drummer enough credit in this band. He is absolutely incredible!
His kit needs a safe word
Incredible indeed!
Dude has a degree in music from Berkeley. His skills speak for themselves but I think that’s a pretty awesome sundae cherry.
Can we also appreciate this kit‘s overwhelming sound
You know Matt constantly has a voice in head saying "fuck, I hope this drum kit doesn't fall apart"
He already broke a cymbal on his right...
agreeable nodding is the biggest compliment you get from a metalhead
>:C or that
I realize it's been said a billion times before, but these three guys are masters of their instruments. The shit they come up with blows my mind. I really need to see them live before I die.
3 gods who got bored and decided to form a band!!!! Pure awesomeness
The mouth hand at 7:52 had me dying
i didn't even notice lmao that shits funny as fuck
@ThePepperChallenger2 foreground
@ThePepperChallenger2 pause at 7:53 in the crowd down in the lowest quarter of the screen. the hand closest to the camera.
Whoever did that: cool dude. Funny as shit.
They can bury me right beside you! Thanks for pointing that out :D:D:D:D:D
Props to the sound technicians as well, everything is clear as a bell. Phenomenal.
0:58 the amount of groove in the riff that Reyes kicks in is just unbelievable
For sale: lightly used cymbals. Inquire within.
John Jones no, you have to use „used once“
Lol which band played after them ? Sucks to be that band ! 😂
I was wondering who was the main act since this is late afternoon at best.
Textures or Dying Fetus

hahahahaahahahhaa
hahhahahahahahahaha
I'd love to travel back in time with this video to 1969 and show it to Jimi and say 'as crazy as this sound is, it couldn't exist without you.'
True
Tosin looks straight out of the 90's
I'm actually fucking scared of Matt. He's only 26 and he is only getting better. Just realize that. Imagine.
Ties Jehoul he's 29
Totaly agree with you, i'm 26 and all i do is play wow , fuck my life.
LOL you got nothin goin on.
What secret lab were these guys made in?
2:26 how the expression on the face of the dude on the left changes, brilliant 😂😂 that riff kicks ass.
I was there... they sold that turtle neck as merch. Picked up 2.

I've never seen odd time clap alongs at a concert ever
Tip for the uninitiated: When you see a guitarist or bassist hold the guitar that high, be prepared for something intense
You stole this comment from someone else. Lame.
@@JohnDoe-hk5im How can you steal a fucking idea?
It's not even intense though.... yall talk about this shit like it's high quality thrash metal 🤣 Just endless atmospheric note walking. Makes me sleepy 😒
@@MrNeosantana why you getting mad? Cause you got caught and got called out? Another person BEFORE YOU said the same thing almost damn near word for word. What are the chances of that happening? Probable better odds at winning the lottery as opposed to that.
@@JohnDoe-hk5im There are 5,500 comments on this video. The likelihood that this person happened to have a similar thought to another commenter (especially one as common as the idea that high guitar stance == incoming shreddage) is much higher than that the person happened to see one other comment out of 5,500, and THEN decided to make a comment saying basically the same thing for some reason.

I fully appreciate the guitars but the drummer is mint!
9:25 Gotta love how Javier mouths the heavy drum fill haha 👑
i bet their rehearsals are like :
-Dude i didn't understand the first 10 bars of the 2nd verse
***sends a 20 pages long musicsheet***
30 seconds later
-oh ok got it .
LOL
Ah yes, what is referred to as "professional musicians".
Try any musician instead. Band nerds do this in high school. It's called reading and rehearsing music and its the only way we'll ever get music besides repetive pop songs.
I said "it's the only way we'll get music besides repetive pop songs"
LMAO
I love how chill the guitarist look while the drummer is just fucking going for it
It’s honestly incredible that they can play such brutally hard songs live
Any jazz player: yeah, OK.
@@HabAnagarek sure buddy
I watch this almost every week.
Holy hell you know a drummer is serious when there’s weight plates holding his cymbal stands down.
11:07
Yes and look at the symbol to his right. The whole back side is destroyed.
not uncommon
Yeah as a drummer myself there's something spectacular about the attitude of his playing. Not showing off or overplaying, just absolutely giving it his all and loving every second of it. Dope.
@@dingdongs5208 you gay?
@@behindthen0thing I'm bisexual, dont mind a little cock every now and then
I love this, the drummer looks like he's going to drop dead at any second and the guitarist looks like he should be about 26 years old but he's gone grey from learning this insane music. And well, Tosin, is quite clearly doctor who, he's time travelled to bring this daunting soundtrack to us
this is the best footage of AAL I've ever seen
So few people are praising the drummer. Dude is SLAYING this shit.
I saw Tosin put on a clinic at Guitar Center about 6 years ago and I am still blown away by the fact that his guitar is an extension of his body, not just an instrument. He IS the music.
