I didn't even realize it has been 43 episodes. This is by far my favorite series you've done it is quite fantastic.
I think its the best minecraft series overall for me
You forgot to add an adjective at the end but I get what you mean. :)
it really is quite
It's definitely one of the ever
It is by far the
Mango wakes up, plays Minecraft, squats 5 plates a side, plays more Minecraft, goes to bed.
You forgot video editing
He does that with his toes while squatting. He has perfect balance
no but the thing is he squats 5 plates while yawning while desigining farms in minecraft in his head.
Mango lifts??? Does he have another channel of lifting?
@@starkyyyyy on his stream in the background of his face cam he has a bench
Mango: "I need green dye for my concrete farm." ...and a few episodes later we have an XP bank as a side project. Truly a Minecraft moment.
That’s good
This series went from a survival series to a creative series within 45 episodes
And the fact that he did it all by himself is just mind-blowing.
And he even created new and sometimes better farms than the already existing ones.
@@MagyarAdam15 the ilmango method
Best series in minecraft hands down!
As ive been getting older and getting less and less time to play minecraft, this series has kept me interested in the game.
Ive always been doing technical minecraft but the game takes so long to play, so im happy i can get the latest and best minecraft videos all in one with ilmango.
Hands down love it
I'm not able to play MC at all nowadays either. But when I do, it's good to have an old world to keep building on and have access to the stuff to build these machines. Don't always have the time to grind for this stuff.
@@zacherybutter7349 yo that's true, i should start a new world perhaps and make slow progress, last time i played mc, i spent the entire day playing and had max gear XD
Can we just appreciate how this man puts in entire work days before even starting to edit?
This series is seriously insane, inspires me to try my own skyblock again soon.
Vanilla Skyblock is honestly a grind. It's fun, but it's very grindy
@@paulelderson934 this extreme skyblock was also far grindier though. let's not forget the dark ages lol
And then you remember that youre just a normal dude and can't even build the same things guys like ilmango come up with, even with a step by step guide xD
@@blau.specht ngl if i had litematica I'd at least try some of them.
I've been working on integrating a 288-cauldron lava farm, a 160 furnace smelting array, and a 76k/h cobble generator together, and it's been pretty challenging, but your videos have been an inspiration to think through the problems. I even used your lava farm idea.
hey, I binged all episodes over the last week and I have to say, this is the best minecraft series & modpack I've seen since I started watching minecrat 12 years ago. the combination of mod + your technical knowledge leads to a progression that is basically pure distilled minecraft. awesome stuff!
Almost no moddind mostly vanilla
@@Jelleboekema There are a lot of modded features. Everything from how he gets sand to the autocrafting table which is getting used in almost every farm he makes at this point.
@@fdagpigj Tbf he's only using mods that make things that *should already be renweable* renewable. The game is still baisically vanilla, just with features that should be in the game anyway.
@@joniboi3699 Yes, that is what makes the series actually interesting.
27:34 "12,500 xp/hour without lifting a finger" he says, gazing at the multiple skyscrapers he's built.
Never change, Mango :-)
🤣
every time you upload i think i should play skyblock again but then i remember all of the grind youve been through and suddenly im content just watching your series lol
Haven't been this engaged in a minecraft series (or video) in at least 6 years, loving it!
Mango is the best!! The amount of time this all must take and the frequency of uploads is just insane. Love it!
Man, I love these kind of farms. Literally nothing can break about them. Reliability supremacy!
bro that wall of observers and piston backs looks sick. maybe you will add some redstone lamps on the observer backs, so they will light up every time you get a kelp?
So, this is the most compact kelp farm without counting slime and bonemeal based kelp farms. After all this years, this is the first time I see this concept of farm. Very nice.
if I didn't watch the series from ep 1 I wouldn't believe all this from an island and one single tree love your content keep it up mango
I love the creative twists on old farms, a lot of fun, thanks for the constant content!
Wow, 43 episodes already? This series has flown by!
One of my favorite series you’ve done
I did actually see a 2nd flat spot at 7:36 where you said "12". Of course it doesn't really impact anything but I couldn't help but notice it lol
I love this series! It's awesome knowing that you're just building what you want and designing new cool farms.
For the kelp collection system at the bottom, there might be a way to make the gathering even faster by dropping the common stream down by one block so the kelp can't flow into the opposite stream.
auto-crafting needs to be added to minecraft as an official mechanic already. I have a profitable kelp farm but I have to stand there and craft the kelp blocks to feed them back to the smoker array. Love this design!
What design did you use? I want to copy this one, but I don't have all the quartz right now.
Also, yes! They could make a new item called Auto Crafter or something and its recipe is just a Crafting table, redstone, two hoppers, some copper and stone
It was an even cheaper recipe than you predicted!@@zacherybutter7349
Come for the insanely ambitious farm designs, stay for the dope timelapse music.
Parts of this song reminds me of the FTL game soundtrack
I don't know how helpful it would be, but water can be "regenerated" by dispensers and water buckets. Just power every other dispenser, water sources generate, and power the same ones again, and water buckets are filled back. Then power the other group twice. That would make sure the water can't disappear from the dispensers too, and there are two groups that can regenerate all the water.
This is the best Minecraft series on yt imo, I so look forward to each episode and they never disappoint!
mango the one u used for checking inventories is not tweakaroo it's actually litematica, if u wanna use tweakaroo u can press Left Alt to check inventory...
I really enjoy your videos! I was always opposed to the autocrafting, but now I see how beneficial it will be to the game. I hope Mojang ads it soon!
Been watching your videos for the last six years and must say you are the greatest tecnical minecrafter I’ve ever seen. I don’t want to put shame on mumbo jumbo or any of the other technical Minecrafters but I like your style, the most! Also, like all scicraft members! Greetings from middle Franconia
This aged like fine wine lmao
I’ve never clicked so fast on a notification before
You can reduce fuel filling time a bit by putting non-fuel items (like cobble) into four slots of the fuel hopper
I believe the thinking here is the hoppers act as ad hoc storage, so his pure storage array doesn't look as insanely over-scaled, as he's ensured they are all easily accessible.
Hey Ilmango I've made a more reliable version of your kelp farm, similar idea, you just need to make a small change using more waterlogged stairs and a hopper line with fence gates to stop the water...
The farm is 100% reliable i think and no water sources are deleted even on rand tick 3000
Damn thats so much work but you inspired me and my friend to come back to the game and i think I'm enjoying it so much more as I grew older. So glad that you're active, great work!
I honestly like this kelp farm more than the flying machine ones - sure it's more expensive but the continuous stream of items is easier to deal with and it also feels more rewarding to build it up (on top of never breaking on its own)
I don't know what happend, but mine break :/
You should try to design all of your farms tall and skinny so they all look like skyscrapers and your skyblock world looks like a floating city!
Funny how you casually grind to level 130+ while preparing resources for your XP farm 😂😂💪
Ice block storage! Ice blocks storage! Ice block storage!
I don't know if it can be the same as your podzol storage, but you NEED it.
actually want to do that. world's biggest ice cube
@@ilmango YESSSS!!!!!
Can't wait for the main storage system!
I say we start calling that area the "skyscraper district"
Can't get enough of this series!
Ilmango: I want an xp farm
Also Ilmango: *trades up to 100+ levels to get materials for his xp farm.
it's basically the same as in others video games where you farm xp to get stronger in order to farm xp quicker
There is a possibility that Mango will fall off the island at some point and lose all his stuff. I don't hope that it happens, but if it happens, I hope it's during a timelapse and the music halts in a record scratch.
Been absolutely loving this series. Much prefer this slower game play
Me too
I knew refreshing a 5th time today would yield a video. Lets gooo
"just incase I need a little bit of xp to repair tools on my single player world"
*builds an xp bank that could easily supply an entire server*
Love it! Lol
this is such a good series, always love seeing new episode. Love the large builds!
I was feeling this episode comming earlier this night. I love this series!
I know it’s probably never gonna happen, but I think it would be so cool if Mango did a Create series
I love that in skyblock worlds you can see how people progressed just by the blocks they use
My man about to play creative in survival with all of these farms
43 in this series is epic. You make great content man, I’m here for it. Thanks. It’s really good. You need to know this. Your videos make me happy.
Love this game anf this series.
Also love the new opportunities with auto crafting
Best Minecraft serie ever made no cap!!!
Never missed out an an episode. Your skyblock videos are amazing. Hate waiting for more mangoman!
loving the series, its like watching a brainstorm in real time! question: why do you put composters over your hoppers??
it reduces lag when there's an inventory on top of the hoppers, because they don't have to check above for items to pick up
oh cool thanks!
I’m 3 minutes late to the video this week. What did I miss guys? Loving this series!
I literally of thinking about almost the same (Actually commented before realizing the final design i also had issues with water source getting replaced) approach for kelp farm
USE STRINGS INSTEAD! I dont know if thats the case in java edition but in bedrock edition water can flow through strings and strings also can float in the air or water. Means you dont need the other layer for the signs!!! 😱😱😱
I think string is destroyed in Java
You could also put half of the signs, so it could work as a infinite water source
Please do 1,000 episodes of this series, it’s so fun to watch
If you want to decorate this area you could just turn it into a city because you already have two skyscrapers.
This series alone is
20.75736111111111 hours
Best 20 hours I will ever spend❤❤❤
im really loving the progress you’ve been making in this world! definitely a lot of love and dedication going into this world
if you want a longer system you can take one slice away and put a stair there with water to flow
Mango you have to be careful with flying machines around those towers 😬
Never Forget - NYFD !
the amount of effort mango puts in t each episode just blows my mind, insane farms man
You could put four boats, or any non smeltable item, in the hopper that fuel the furnaces. So it wouldn‘t take so long to fill them.
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem (using sodium) but when the kelp grows, its usually normal, but sometimes after the piston pushes the kelp block, the kelp block at the bottom stays as a "stalk" block and not as the normal tip kelp block, so it never regrows.
If you do it wider than 12, just place another waterblocked stair at the 7th block( maybe 11th?) And stack it larger.
If you replace two sides of the ice farm with water logged stairs you wont have to replenish the water whenever you mine it all at once
"No cost to great" (c) probably Ilmango, seeing ±90 stacks of observers in shematic
Playing in a skyblock world with infinite space already 'mined' out, but also "I don't want to be space inefficient" :'D
the entire first 10 minutes i was screaming at my laptop 'just water log the pistons' before remembering that java's water mecanics are weird lol
Video idea for you, Using this mod make a redstone contraption/ system which allows you to request any item in the game to be crafted and then goes and crafts it. I'd mainly just like to know if it's even possible to do
In which version of the game
smh, shouldv'e made a melon farm to make the kelp farm.
Lol, good stuff mango, and the new farm design is really smart.
Best series on the planet love this content Mango 🥭
Those timelapse songs are great
Having the observer sides of the kelp units back to back will cause one to update/activate the other, significantly increasing the chances of water sources being destroyed and not replenished (I think).
Every video just blows my mind
3:28 of course, the Alloys are always the solution
Nice episode, I think you also could have used upsidedown stairs instead of the leave bocks
yep. from experience placing stairs gets annoying though, that's why I wanted a full block
@@ilmango yeah, true
So good! Your patience is out of this world
Great video as always! Do you or someone else mind explaining why you have the composters in the furnace array? Do they help reduce lag or something?
Your intro song never gets old🔥
Great series.
Autocrafting is a great addition to minecraft.
Great farms. I really would like to get some schooling on some basic autocrafting and the mod used most for it.
I made videos about it. a search for "ilmango autocrafting" will yield results
@@ilmango thanks man. Love your content.
10:01 cheeky flex
Favourite series on RUclips right now
@ilmango Have you heard of Tethered flying machine? There is a video from channel Borkon, called "Tethered flying machine reliability update | Minecraft Java 1.16" It needs a little work, but the design is excellent!
Decided to watch the skyblock series, got hooked
17:30 My mind was blown
I can't wait until you build the bigger version of this on sci.
You should look into adding the ''distant horizons'' mod. would be nice to see how your world looks with it
He doesn't always have that mod running but he literally used it last episode or so when he was standing at the top of the cactus farm
My man don't stop!
have a good day
Great video! I have a question, why are you putting the composters on the hoppers? Is that a performance optimizing thing?
Yes
You need like a few hundred clerics outside of the spawn chunks, for redstone dust, enough that it's hard to trade with all of them twice every 20 minutes.
You would absolutely need glass panes i theor heads though, which is aleays a pain to set up... and then make sure they're in the right spot to still be clickable... Maybe having them out of spawn chunks alone is good enough though.
I suppose you could do the override villager trade lock and not worry about waiting for trades to restock on tweakaroo
The music in all of your timelapses is amazing! If it's not too much work, it'd be nice to have a little note, either in the video or the description, of the track name and artist c:
Thanks for the interesting video, ilmango.
Love this series man, keep it up we all love you
