That's one of your best batches of coins I think. they all came out great. Love the skulls! Glad to see you waited until it was only 103 before melting. Haha. It's been damn hot lately!
You could certainly sell that dagger I saw in the back, and I reckon people would buy the coins too. AL/BR is still my favorite alloy. This winter I'm going to cast some knives and hopefully make a tomahawk or two. I do wonder if you need to have full 2x4 frames? It seems like an awful lot of extra sand and prep work. Plus just a waste of sand. I liked some of the stuff BigStack did with plaster and wax. Seems like a lot less preparation. When I do start to make knives I want to make molds I can re-use. I hate mundane prep work.
Damn, those came out fantastic. I never have great luck with my coins. Guess I'll have to keep trying. I have some coins I did to, but, had some issues, did manage a few decent. Great video my friend, keep up the awesome work.
Mr Rock they turned out great! was looking into that sort of stuff for the Made-in-Wales site CnC machine time me thinks. been a bit busy the month but a video soon too explain all that keep up the good work mate. 10 stars for the video and 100 thumbs up!
Seeing that temperature I instantly thought "That's Vegas heat!" This was my introduction video, I subscribed and checked the 'about' section and would you know it... it is Vegas heat! haha Hello from Vegas :) Except it's freezing now. We get a week to adjust from 120°/98° to high 50°'s w/ low 30°'s. It's not enough time. lol
Looking real good bro! As you are using petrobond I am asking myself if the exact same process is possible with green sand (or the clay like sand I use). Or do I need to add some ventilation channels? Good job they look amazing 😍😍👍👍👍
@@ArtByAdrock thanks! I have really fine sand! It's called Brussels earth and is very very fine, like powder. I add some water with a spray bottle to activate the clay and then I can ram up the mold. I will try to do more stuff with it soon 😁👍👍
Great video! The coins came out awesome, as usual. You really should put them up for sale on E-bay. See what happens. I think it would be fun to have one.
I tell you what I thought it was cool to watch and finally got enough stuff to melt some of the lead I found metal detecting omg it was so much fun and nerve-racking. Keep up the good work looking for something bigger for an ingot mold so I don't have 12 or 13 little ingots but only big enough to make a few sinks if needed. By the way what would you suggest for material for lead sinker mold?
I guess it depends on how big the mold is. Either sand or plaster is what I would use. Even graphite if you have access to a CNC machine which would prob be best
They turned out great.👍 First thought was, should make it two sided, but when the polishing was done, ...........Looks Good. If you're selling these, please let me know where. Edit: Safety socks?
Great job. Some beautiful coins. I thought true bronze was its own kind of metal? Or is bronze made by mixing other metals together? My favorite was the bitcoin. Awesome job dude. Amazing hobby. I bet you could sell those if you wanted. Do you know where Sandy Valley is?
I used to live there with my grandma and mom when I was a kid. I grew up out there in that valley and later in Vegas for a while as a young adult. I now live in Texas. I have a small channel. Check it out. Leave me a message and let me know what you think. Much love and respect friend. 👍😎🤜😉
I was wondering, do u make 3d printed molds and sell them? Reason I ask is I have all the stuff to melt and make stuff except a 3d printer. By the way, another great video. I would make those for my kids to find around the house and yard as treasure.
*ArtByAdrock* Love the Bitcoins, you could sell physical bitcoins on Ebay for alot of $$ probably 😂 Excellent video, great work...I had an idea that I use in my garage: A giant Co2 old school fire extinguisher-it works great for instantly extinguishing fires with no mess. It would allow you to keep your boxes longer, I was just thinking-you could make aluminum boxes and join them with those alumiweld Harbor freight rods that melt using a propane torch...just some ideas for ya, great channel man-look forward to all your videos.
Glad you enjoy 😊 I’d like to use steel boxes but they will take longer to make. The hard wood lasts a while until I burn them up too much. My full time job takes away from me doing more projects. Spread the word so I can bring you all better videos each week 😉
Nah, when it’s already 115° F outside it’s way too hot. I’m not worried about it. As long as your careful there’s not much to worry about. I’ve been burned numerous times and it’s not that bad. The face is the biggest concern just in case. Just know what you’re pouring into. 👍🏻
I love your guys pirate coins. I noticed you qnd bigstackd like spiders. He has redbacks and you and your house spider.... how about a spider themed cast?
The trouble with selling this sort of thing is, can you charge enough for it to be worth the hassle (and cost) of shipping? If you were my neighbor I would totally give you $5-10 for a coin.
They look really good mate... but just a small point... coins are double sided. What you have made look fantastic but they are more of a medallion really...
Hi, your videos are really well made, I would have liked to have your opinion on a video about the melting copper that I just published, it's good to have the opinion of people who know it.
Hey there cool big bars.. couple of suggestions, first get a different editing program so you don’t have the huge watermark going across the entire thing. I would also put the burner in the foundry before lighting it so you don’t have to try to to that afterwards. Other than that not bad at all 👍🏻
@@ArtByAdrockThank you for your answer it's nice, regarding the video editing program if you have an idea but free ^^ In any case continues like that I love your videos.
I know I am being a Safety Sally, but casting copper based alloy without leather boots and long pants could be disastrous! If those coins were two sided, I'd pay a premium on eBay for it. [/hint]
After binging this channel for five friggin hours, I am hooked.
ABSOLUTELY you should make these for sale!
No joke man id like to see those 3d printed parts on the website!!
I hear Valhalla calling me. Long live the Pirate Republic!
Looks great. I love the no safety needed channel.
That's one of your best batches of coins I think. they all came out great. Love the skulls! Glad to see you waited until it was only 103 before melting. Haha. It's been damn hot lately!
It’s been way too hot! Had to wait till a little later for this melt 👍🏻
NICE ! Great detail on the coins!
Thank you 🙏
Bet it all on black! Great vid bro
they came out amazing! im really impressed
Fire. fire fire. Fire fire fire!
Turned out great.
Haha thanks 👍🏻
They turned out great. They look so good with all of the tiny details. Amazing job, I'm sure they loved them!!
The kids were very excited on their treasure hunt. Took them 1 hour to find the gold 🙂
@@ArtByAdrockyay!!
I would say HELL YES PUT THEM FOR SALE!!!, Nice job. Maybe add some variety to the vid format. Cheers from Ontario!
Awesome set!
Coins and ingots are my favorite, those are fantastic. The best video yet. Please put some up for sale and count me in!
Thank you I sure will 👍🏻 when I get home from vacation I’ll put some more coins up on my website 🍺🍺🍺🍺

I hear ya.. 2x4 aren’t necessary.. I usually just use a hard wood in case it catches fire it doesn’t burn a whole lot
Damn, those came out fantastic. I never have great luck with my coins. Guess I'll have to keep trying. I have some coins I did to, but, had some issues, did manage a few decent. Great video my friend, keep up the awesome work.
Thanks.. I think making them a little thicker helps out a lot 👍🏻
Sweet, they look heavy duty
They sure are 👍🏻
Nice looking coins. You should make the spider a little metal home of some kind that would be awesome
Thanks 🙏 haha I think I’ll let bigstackD make that metal home. I think they’re more his friends 🤣
I would buy one for sure
I would love to buy one of each coin, very well done!
Nice golden coins
Lovely big pile of coins... Super finish too. Top job mate. Cheers 🍺🍺🍺👍👍👍

Those are some sweet coins art! What projects do you guys recommend for beginners?
Thanks 🙏 if your starting out I would suggest just doing some ingot molds to get used to pouring first
@@ArtByAdrock Thanks for the advice will do!
No problem 👍🏻 good luck and keep me posted on how it’s all working out for you.
I would LOVE to buy those coins!!!! At least a few!!!
I don't know how to find where to buy them but if you are going to sell LET ME KNOW! Or sell anything for that matter...

Ferfect Action....
These are really great. Are you going through the same graduating sanding and rouge polish on the face side of the coins?
On the face of the coins I don’t sand them down the same way. I simply use a wire brush and then polish
Looking real good bro! As you are using petrobond I am asking myself if the exact same process is possible with green sand (or the clay like sand I use). Or do I need to add some ventilation channels? Good job they look amazing 😍😍👍👍👍
Green sand should work just fine. The finer the sand the more detail you can pick up 👍🏻

I love to buy it 🤗😍🥳
You should make a type of knurling machine to give them the coin edge you get with quarters.
Hmmmm... I’ll have to work on that thanks 👍🏻
Fine! I'll subscribe I watch all your vids anyway 👍it's the hammer that sold me.
I would be more interested in that dagger on the top shelf? How much?
Prob $300 for something like that.
What 3D printer do you use?
I use the robo R1+ 👍🏻
WOW nice I'd say sale or do a contest with them as prizes. Like questions about pirates there birth and death there jobs they did. Etc.
I might be giving some away so stick around and find out 👍🏻 thanks for the comment

Would it be possible to do a two sided one ?
Nicely done 👍👍👍. Sell the 3D prints.
I would keep them for another time to use 😁👍👍
@@Metalstacker I meant to say sell 3D prints, not sell the originals.
Purchase yeah. Put dates on them and a mint or grade mark on them. Maybe a gold one?
Very nice and interesting one small point don't you think you should cover your legs when doing your melting just in case of a small splash

@@ArtByAdrock yeah that's sweet as hell man. I'd definitely make a Facebook page and all of us could go to The Art Store and purchase some.
