    Thanks for the cool vids. I would love to get my hands on the double sided coin mold. Alas the price is a bit steep taking into account the exchange rate. 😕 Keep up the good content. You are an inspiration for me to try my hand at foundry work.

    you should try to make some coins like from Pirates of the Caribbean, or John Wick.

    GREAT JOB!!! I LOVE the way the raised part is mirrored and the rest is kinda rough.. I also love the small spots throughout the mirrored part because it makes it look more rustic I guess is the word....
    I wonder why that one coin that didn't come out right had such a different color (at least it looked much darker/bronzey'er after you polished them and showed us)

      He didn't touch the incomplete coin. No wire wheel, no sanding, no polish. That was the color right from being poured/cast.

    Never know until you ask: I've been trying to get my 3d printer up for a while to do some casting like this and would love some in person help if you're willing to meet up with a fellow local. I've started with ears and the like so far on the other end of making things and would welcome any tips or input. If not, not a worry at all, totally get it. Thanks for putting these up, you do such a great job and inspire creativity. ^.^ Blessings friend!

    What is the purpose of the blocks on the corners of the sand mold?

    • @ArtByAdrock
      @ArtByAdrock  2 года назад +1

      To help hold down the sand as it could rise up and cause flashing from the pressure. 👍🏻
