Melting My Entire Boat! - Massive Meltdown Boat Bonanza - Trash To Treasure

  • In this video I will be melting down my entire boat that I have had for over 2 years. I started by using my plasma cutter to cut the boat into smaller pieces. It took 3 days to get the entire boat cut into small enough pieces to fit inside the crucible. I then spent another 4 days melting down the entire thing. What I was left with is 71 pounds of clean metal ingots to use for future projects and 7 pounds of slag that I will just throw away. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and hit that Subscribe button for more.

    Melting that boat was equivalent to a full time job! 😲 Plus that many days outside in a Las Vegas summer seems crazy to me! So hot 🥵

    • @ArtByAdrock
      @ArtByAdrock  2 года назад +3

      It really was. Part of the reason why I broke it up into 4 days. It’s too hot to stay out there for a long time especially with the furnace going. My cameras kept overheating.

    No more ugly old aluminum boat to have to deal with now - just 71.43 pounds of ingots for whatever future projects you have planned for this channel. Must feel good to finally be done with that boat, considering it was 107 in Vegas. (It's a 'cool' 79 here in Ohio right now.)

    A plasma cutter, now that is just cheating! There was someone new to YT and melting 3+ years ago that was going to melt down his boat, but he stopped doing videos before he got there or it fell through the cracks and I missed it, so was good to see someone do this!
