Happy Thursday everyone! I hope you all enjoyed this video and are staying healthy and safe at home. Don’t let a little social distancing stop you from doing what you love most 👍🏻
try using a vacuum system with your perforated flask when pouring the metal for better results (less porosity, more detail) look into the kaya cast system from arbe
I think you'd get a cleaner casting if you heated the mold before pouring the metal. From what I've seen from others, lost wax casting is usually extremely clean, but they always heat their molds before use.
Cool video ...you can use silicon to make multiple copies out of the originals wax rings when it needed also recommend to make cavity into the skeleton wax then cover the hole after casting .to save copper investment of it and gives the skeleton statue heavier ...is it gypsum mold you used to cover the wax forms ?
Great job on the skull and rings but I have a great idea and was hoping u could make it so I can see how it would look plz. A solid brass hand grenade life size and polished tyvm.
I don’t know if you are aware of this trick or not. But get a dowel about 3 inches in circumference and about 12 inches long and taper from about 5 inches to one end. This will secure the ring by a friction hold and keep your hands safely away from the polishing wheel and grinding and sanding. 👍👍👍
I know what I was going to say I can relate to you more than ever on polishing aluminum brass and copper it isn't easy I've been polishing not very long I just recently got a sanding wheel for my drill and have just started sanding a few aluminum bars it isn't easy but wow it is awesome when it's done I absolutely love your videos and can relate more than ever now keep making your videos Love them so much it keeps me going ❤️😎✌️
That was a beautiful pour. And I was able to see that amazing blue green glow when that copper is melting. Excellent job all the way around. My fav ring is the skull in the middle at the end. Great video and thanks for sharing. Hope you and yours are safe. 👍
This covid thing has provided me with endless free time. And in that forever I've watched most everything you've made. It's fascinating to witness your skills grow. You're becoming quite the master
hey really enjoyed watching you make the Rings at a copper turned out great. you can use to pour metal and the vessels without a vacuum machine I didn't know that
Hello from Brazil, my name is Gabriel and I am a beginner in copper smelting. I would like to know if there are any tips for the copper to be well liquefied and drain well into the mold. is there any technique or any tip, in this video you used 100% pure copper? thank you so much
whether the model you are using is plastic and I see when pouring the tube is not put into the vacuum, whether the result can be maximum when the air in the tube is not released through the vacuum
A vacuum is not really needed but does help pull the metal into the fine detail. For a burn out kiln, get a Paragon. They are very well built and you won’t have to mess with building one. I’ve built one before and it worked but was a headache over time. It’s worth the money to just buy a quality one 👍🏻
to melt copper, is there any element that matters during melting, such as antioxidants or other chemical products? or does it just melt with the flame?
hello my friend, congratulations on the videos. I have a brief question, could you help me, how do I keep the copper from getting dark and oxidized after casting? I saw in your video that after breaking the plaster the copper was looking great. thank you.
Always enjoy watching & learning from your videos. So thank you. I'm interested in creating a small cast for lead how world I go about finding a company to create it? 😷👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I love the Reaper ring. My brother Diggs the Cubs ring. Question. Without a thermometer gun, how can I tell if my fire is hot enough for brass and copper? I'm getting it orange hot but it's not melting.
Wow, the level of detail you got out of that plaster was pretty great. Have you ever played with zbrush before? You could probably make some pretty awesome stuff with it.
Dang, you are getting quiet the workshop over there with those printers and vacuüm stuff. I did not think they would come out that great thinking you did not pour vacuüm. But I have to say, they look great!
So does that investment stuff surround the foam skull then harden so the liquid metal can’t go thru it but only melts through the foam and creates the brass skull? Is that what’s happening here?
Happy Thursday everyone! I hope you all enjoyed this video and are staying healthy and safe at home. Don’t let a little social distancing stop you from doing what you love most 👍🏻
Thanks artbyadock and quick question for when you put the paint on the metal your painting what type of paint are you using
I use magicfly acrylic paint 👍🏻
@@ArtByAdrock thank you so much
Idea...
Have a monthly special?
Hi, you send your products to Colombia?? I want to buy a copper little coin i love your work
Woah wait whaaat how did they come out so clean without a vacuum caster??
Awesome video man you and bigstackD are the gold standard when it comes to melting I've started doing it myself thanks for all your inspiration
I really like the skull, just different enough to be appealing.
watching you put the Dremel down the eye holes, is just so satisfying'
of the skull
The Cubs one is my favorite ring. Skulls are always a top fav to watch you make.
Mmmm I love me a mixed metal skull 👌🏻😁. Groovy rings too bro 👊🏻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Gotta love the skulls 😉🍻🍻🍻 I might as well throw in a ring for you with the rest of the package 👍🏻
I definitely love that Cubs ring!
I love the Star Wars ring!
*So calming seeing you restore items so masterfully*
I do a little bit of jewelry casting myself with my vacuum machine I didn't know you could just pour it in there also
You are moving up to another level of casting
That investment casting is way cool! Great Vid! I learned in blacksmith school to always use a metal bucket :)
Investment! That's what that's called. I always forget. I need to look it up
Raw, which makes them unique. And beautiful. Great work and vid.
The skull was the best piece I’ve seen! Good job!
love to see you casting more artistic stuff like this
Thanks brotha! 👍🏻🍻 they were really fun to make and I definitely have some new ideas brewing as we speak.
try using a vacuum system with your perforated flask when pouring the metal for better results (less porosity, more detail) look into the kaya cast system from arbe
The Cubs ring is dope
I LOVE The Star Wars Ring!!!
The skull with the top hat ring is awesome, great job on all the rings and the skull!
Nice work. The Cubs and reaper came out nice.
Lost PLA and lost wax casting requires a lot of preparation, but the results are amazing.
Cubs ring is my favorite! Awesome job.
Mine too 👍🏻
Those rings for a man are awesome.
A beautiful ring, I hope to give it a gift for your followers

Keep them coming man, IL be watching them
I think you'd get a cleaner casting if you heated the mold before pouring the metal. From what I've seen from others, lost wax casting is usually extremely clean, but they always heat their molds before use.
*When the small drill said : nyeeeaw nyeeeaw nyeeaw*
Really cool rings, but the skull is AWESOME!!
Quality mate
I love the Star Wars ring and that skull is cool 👍
The star wars ring came out cool
Very nice!!
Have a GREAT Day!!!
Really cool video Adrock. I haven't seen that before. You have some cool ideas for melts.
😊
I love all of your videos but this one is my favorite cause I love skulls
Cool! So gravity was enough to fill everything out? I always thought you needed some kind of vacuum or centrifugal contraption…
I love the Grim Reaper ring the best!
I hate when I get crusties like that in my nose cavity and have to get out the dremel to clean it out!
Very nice this week, very nice!
😊
aggressive looking good katana and rings
Awesome Job. You have some patience for all that cleaning.
Awesome, I love bronze casting. I did it for school once but I can't afford a forge and equipment to do it.
I love em mate! Your Aussie buddy has a different approach. You've got a really skilled and technical artistic style which is a joy to watch!
That reaper ring is nice. Reminds me of samcro
That's a nice electric kiln dude
Beautiful 👍👍👍 . Thanks for sharing
I got a couple of rings from your link and they are by far my favorite rings I own
Great looking work!
Those look amazing.
Nice ring and i love it.
Grim reaper ring is dope!
The skull looks great!
Great Video as always mate. And I like all the rings and the skull turned out great. Keep up the good work, stay safe and see you next week.
Could you do a Viking themed casting sometime? I think that would be cool. Keep the videos coming man.
I’ve done a Viking Axe in the past for a challenge with BigstackD and Vog, check out that video 😉
Great job on the skull and rings but I have a great idea and was hoping u could make it so I can see how it would look plz. A solid brass hand grenade life size and polished tyvm.
Is there a calculation for brass, bronze , and copper to wax conversion to know how much metal to use for your weight of wax?
I don’t know if you are aware of this trick or not.
But get a dowel about 3 inches in circumference and about 12 inches long and taper from about 5 inches to one end.
This will secure the ring by a friction hold and keep your hands safely away from the polishing wheel and grinding and sanding.
👍👍👍
Espectacular, hermano felicitaciones abrazos desde Argentina
I know what I was going to say I can relate to you more than ever on polishing aluminum brass and copper it isn't easy I've been polishing not very long I just recently got a sanding wheel for my drill and have just started sanding a few aluminum bars it isn't easy but wow it is awesome when it's done I absolutely love your videos and can relate more than ever now keep making your videos Love them so much it keeps me going ❤️😎✌️
Thanks for posting. Where do you get your wax and what kind?
Cool. I want the Cubs ring
Oh Hell Yeah! I love the skull.
That was a beautiful pour. And I was able to see that amazing blue green glow when that copper is melting. Excellent job all the way around. My fav ring is the skull in the middle at the end. Great video and thanks for sharing. Hope you and yours are safe. 👍
Would throwing everything in a rock tumbler reduce the cleanup labor?
This covid thing has provided me with endless free time. And in that forever I've watched most everything you've made. It's fascinating to witness your skills grow. You're becoming quite the master
hey really enjoyed watching you make the Rings at a copper turned out great. you can use to pour metal and the vessels without a vacuum machine I didn't know that
I bet you could make some really really detailed coins with the lost wax casting
Hello from Brazil, my name is Gabriel and I am a beginner in copper smelting.

The black wolf on your finger is my favorite 😆
whether the model you are using is plastic and I see when pouring the tube is not put into the vacuum, whether the result can be maximum when the air in the tube is not released through the vacuum
Amazing work..keep it up bro
I thought you needed a vacuum for this type of casting. That’s sick! Now I’m going to have to build/get a burnout oven.... any suggestions?
A vacuum is not really needed but does help pull the metal into the fine detail. For a burn out kiln, get a Paragon. They are very well built and you won’t have to mess with building one. I’ve built one before and it worked but was a headache over time. It’s worth the money to just buy a quality one 👍🏻
ArtByAdrock sweet as, cheers mate!! 😎
I would be interested to see other difrent types of metals cast, from lower temp melting, to possibly higher temp melting. Thanks
This is awesome!!
Nice work!
Dude, get a jewellers tumbler, it makes cleaning up casts much easier. Especially if you start doing precious metals.
Nice Cubs ring!
to melt copper, is there any element that matters during melting, such as antioxidants or other chemical products? or does it just melt with the flame?
Love this video and love what you do on the channel, what kiln are you using ???
I'm partial to the Cubs ring lol😉 however they all turned out great. The skull is fantastic!!
You and me both 😃
hello my friend, congratulations on the videos.
I have a brief question, could you help me, how do I keep the copper from getting dark and oxidized after casting? I saw in your video that after breaking the plaster the copper was looking great.
thank you.
cool... very different video... congrats
Awesome bro!
Scratch that last. I had to get the air to gas ratio just right on my torch. 🤣😂
my favorite is the one that don't turn your finger green
Wow, the level of detail you got out of that plaster was pretty great. Have you ever played with zbrush before? You could probably make some pretty awesome stuff with it.
Thanks 🙏 Yeah I use zbrush a lot 👍🏻
Now they're all ready for gold plate.
Dang, you are getting quiet the workshop over there with those printers and vacuüm stuff. I did not think they would come out that great thinking you did not pour vacuüm. But I have to say, they look great!
Great work!
great video keep you the good work!
Do you not need a vacuum machine as you pour ? Or did you just poured with the investment mold straight out of the kiln ?
So does that investment stuff surround the foam skull then harden so the liquid metal can’t go thru it but only melts through the foam and creates the brass skull? Is that what’s happening here?
You need a rock tumbler or gun she'll tumbler to make cleaning up the pieces a boat load easier
Nice bro, what slicer you use and 3d application?
Awesome job!Love
Pretty good job
