Also involving the "shaking to do tricks" mechanic, you can do that with or without motion controls. I've been doing that since the game came out

EXCELLENT racing session! Don't feel bad for Diddy Kong. He has waay too much VR to have that poor of map awareness. Wall-dodging is certainly a thing. Even I have shorts on wall-dodging and mushroom-escaping Blue Shells.
Yeah someone else in the comments said that wall dodging with inside drift isn't really a thing. I suppose I could try it but I doubt I'd really get success lol
@@PurplePh0enix No, ANY bike frame can do it. When the red shell comes, you quick skid along the wall, then pull away. It’s easier done with a mushroom, but you can do it without just as easy.
getting shocked in the same spot actually kinda makes sense if you think about it, if the people in the back had a similar distance, and spammed shock right after getting it from the same item set, the timings should be pretty close

Inward is great for snaking. Motion controls, not so much.
I would say the Master Cycle is the 7th best for snaking, with the 6 machines ahead of it being Biddybuggy, Mr. Scooty, and the other 4 inward bikes. Maybe the Varmint is also better for snaking, but I'm not entirely sure on that. If I didn't name it here and it's not inward, it's not as good for snaking as the Master Cycle. That's how much better inward is for snaking. The Master Cycle even has the Teddy Buggy beat there, and most players consider Teddy Buggy to be meta.

You might be the only inward player I know who *does* love Gorge. Meanwhile, I'm probably among the few *outward* players who don't love it.
If I'm being completely honest, Gorge is at #92 on my ranking of the 96 courses. The first item set lends itself to lots of spam, bagging is *heavily reliant on avoiding the Gold* 🍄 (because having a Bullet or ⭐ locked behind it leaves the bagger vulnerable to ⚡) for the end-of-lap cut, and it takes at least 2 minor miracles (or one *major* miracle) to get through the 🍄 cave without anything going wrong on any given lap.

Dont think you can wall dodge reds on inside drift.. and shake tricking is very situational.. the eel on dolphin and the bumpy section on wario mountain
Ah I see. Well at least I know the wall dodge isn't a very viable strat for me lol.
I'll have to remember those two spots to try and shake trick!
